Najbolja hrvatska atletičarka Sandra Perković vratila se u domovinu sa svjetskog atletskog prvenstva u američkom Eugeneu na kojem je osvojila  srebrnu medalju u bacanju diska.

Perković je bila druga s rezultatom 68.45 što je njezin najbolji hitac ove sezone. No, to ipak nije bilo dovoljno za zlato koje je iznenađujuće osvojila Kineskinja Bin Feng sa 69.12.

Broncu je osvojila olimpijska pobjednica iz Tokija Amerikanka Valarie Allman sa 68.30m, dok je Marija Tolj zauzela osmo mjesto također, sa 63.07.

"Volim slaviti rekorde i ostvarivati stvari koje nitko nije prije mene, Osvojiti pet medalja na svjetskim prvenstvima je velika stvar. Međutim, ne mislim na tome stati. Nadam se zdravlju, dobroj volji, motivacija je tu," kazala je Perković po dolasku  u Zagreb.

Osvojivši srebrnu medalju na SP-u Sandra je postala prva diskašica u povijesti s pet medalja na svjetskim prvenstvima. Svoju nevjerojatnu seriju započela je u Moskvi 2013. osvojivši zlato. Dvije godine kasnije u Pekingu je bila druga, da bi 2017. u Londonu osvojila još jedno zlato. Uslijedila je bronca u Dohi 2019., te srebro u Eugeneu.

Sandrina je to čak 12. medalja na velikim natjecanjima. Dodajmo kako je 32-godišnja Perković osvojila i dva olimpijska zlata (2012, 2016), a ima i pet europskih titula (2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018).

Perković sada ima devet zlata, dva srebra i broncu s olimpijskih igara, te svjetskih i europskih prvenstava.

"Hrvatska je mala zemlja, pored mene su na postolju stajale Kineskinja i Amerikanka, a znate koliko oni imaju stanovnika. Motiva mi ne manjka, koliko god ću moći dati ću sve od sebe," dodala je.

Saandru za tri tjedna očekuje nastup na Europskom prvenstvu u Munchenu, a već iduće godine je novo svjetsko prvenstvu u Budimpešti.

"Iduće godine je SP u Budimpešti, nadam se da će me hrvatski navijači doći boditi jer je to blizu, pa možda ulovimo i šestu medalju," poručila je Perković.

Njezin trener Edis Elkasević je istaknuo kako je ova medalja "kao zlatna" jer je osvojena nakon povratka.

"Ova medalju ju veseli. Dogodilo se prvi put da smo ostali bez medalje i ovo je njezin povratak i još dugo godina može biti na vrhu. Europsko prvenstvo je za tri tjedna, sad ćemo potrošiti deset dana samo da se aklimatiziramo na vrijeme nakon dolaska iz Ameriku," istaknuo je Elkasović.

"Sandra dosta sebe motivira, takav je sportaš. Uvijek želi najviše i najbolje. Ono što je bilo prošle godine dalo joj je dodatni motiv," kazao je.

Otkrio je kako je Sandra "potonula" nakon četvrtog mjesta na Oi u Tokiju.

"Potonula je zbog ozljede, ali i činjenice da nije mogla trenirati, a drugi jesu. To je bila pljuska u lice, izgubili smo tu medalju, a očekivali smo ju. Trebalo je vrijeme, ova medalja je kao zlatna jer je osvojena nakon povratka," zaključio je Elkasević.

Najbolja hrvatska atletičarka Sandra Perković vratila se u domovinu sa svjetskog atletskog prvenstva u američkom Eugeneu na kojem je osvojila  srebrnu medalju u bacanju diska.

Perković je bila druga s rezultatom 68.45 što je njezin najbolji hitac ove sezone. No, to ipak nije bilo dovoljno za zlato koje je iznenađujuće osvojila Kineskinja Bin Feng sa 69.12.

Broncu je osvojila olimpijska pobjednica iz Tokija Amerikanka Valarie Allman sa 68.30m, dok je Marija Tolj zauzela osmo mjesto također, sa 63.07.

"Volim slaviti rekorde i ostvarivati stvari koje nitko nije prije mene, Osvojiti pet medalja na svjetskim prvenstvima je velika stvar. Međutim, ne mislim na tome stati. Nadam se zdravlju, dobroj volji, motivacija je tu," kazala je Perković po dolasku  u Zagreb.

Osvojivši srebrnu medalju na SP-u Sandra je postala prva diskašica u povijesti s pet medalja na svjetskim prvenstvima. Svoju nevjerojatnu seriju započela je u Moskvi 2013. osvojivši zlato. Dvije godine kasnije u Pekingu je bila druga, da bi 2017. u Londonu osvojila još jedno zlato. Uslijedila je bronca u Dohi 2019., te srebro u Eugeneu.

Sandrina je to čak 12. medalja na velikim natjecanjima. Dodajmo kako je 32-godišnja Perković osvojila i dva olimpijska zlata (2012, 2016), a ima i pet europskih titula (2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018).

Perković sada ima devet zlata, dva srebra i broncu s olimpijskih igara, te svjetskih i europskih prvenstava.

"Hrvatska je mala zemlja, pored mene su na postolju stajale Kineskinja i Amerikanka, a znate koliko oni imaju stanovnika. Motiva mi ne manjka, koliko god ću moći dati ću sve od sebe," dodala je.

Saandru za tri tjedna očekuje nastup na Europskom prvenstvu u Munchenu, a već iduće godine je novo svjetsko prvenstvu u Budimpešti.

"Iduće godine je SP u Budimpešti, nadam se da će me hrvatski navijači doći boditi jer je to blizu, pa možda ulovimo i šestu medalju," poručila je Perković.

Njezin trener Edis Elkasević je istaknuo kako je ova medalja "kao zlatna" jer je osvojena nakon povratka.

"Ova medalju ju veseli. Dogodilo se prvi put da smo ostali bez medalje i ovo je njezin povratak i još dugo godina može biti na vrhu. Europsko prvenstvo je za tri tjedna, sad ćemo potrošiti deset dana samo da se aklimatiziramo na vrijeme nakon dolaska iz Ameriku," istaknuo je Elkasović.

"Sandra dosta sebe motivira, takav je sportaš. Uvijek želi najviše i najbolje. Ono što je bilo prošle godine dalo joj je dodatni motiv," kazao je.

Otkrio je kako je Sandra "potonula" nakon četvrtog mjesta na Oi u Tokiju.

"Potonula je zbog ozljede, ali i činjenice da nije mogla trenirati, a drugi jesu. To je bila pljuska u lice, izgubili smo tu medalju, a očekivali smo ju. Trebalo je vrijeme, ova medalja je kao zlatna jer je osvojena nakon povratka," zaključio je Elkasević.

Veličanstvena Sandra Perković se vratila u domovinu: Ne mislim stati na pet medalja sa SP-a

Najbolja hrvatska atletičarka Sandra Perković vratila se u domovinu sa svjetskog atletskog prvenstva u američkom Eugeneu na kojem je osvojila  srebrnu medalju u bacanju diska.

Perković je bila druga s rezultatom 68.45 što je njezin najbolji hitac ove sezone. No, to ipak nije bilo dovoljno za zlato koje je iznenađujuće osvojila Kineskinja Bin Feng sa 69.12.

Broncu je osvojila olimpijska pobjednica iz Tokija Amerikanka Valarie Allman sa 68.30m, dok je Marija Tolj zauzela osmo mjesto također, sa 63.07.

"Volim slaviti rekorde i ostvarivati stvari koje nitko nije prije mene, Osvojiti pet medalja na svjetskim prvenstvima je velika stvar. Međutim, ne mislim na tome stati. Nadam se zdravlju, dobroj volji, motivacija je tu," kazala je Perković po dolasku  u Zagreb.

Osvojivši srebrnu...
