U samo pet dana ljudi dobre volje na društvenim su mrežama prikupili 65 tisuća kuna kako bi Slavenu Škrobotu, koji je zbog kobnog skoka u more postao nepokretan, kupili bicikl namijenjen osobama s posebnim potrebama.

Prvi je to put u deset godina da mu netko ne mora gurati kolica. S tim istim biciklom ovog je ljeta osvajao hrvatske otoke, a sada je na red došao i Vis. Koristeći se samo rukama kojima pokreće bicikl ovaj je Zagrepčanin u nekoliko sati prešao gotovo 50 kilometara vozeći se starom cestom od Visa do Komiže i opet istom rutom natrag.

- Iz Visa sam krenuo oko devet i odmah me za dobro jutro dočekao uspon od pet kilometara do križa i spomenika stradalim pilotima iz Drugog svjetskog rata. S tako nečime se dosad nisam susreo. Obično mi treba oko sat vremena da mi se ruke zagriju tako da mi je prvi uspon oduzeo poprilično energije. Sve je, naravno, otežavalo sunce koje je postajalo sve nemilosrdnije, prisjetio se.

- Nakon rovovske bitke i dolaska do vrha, slijedio je zasluženi spust i ravni dio kroz samu unutrašnjost otoka. Tu su me dočekali vinogradi, polja maslina, ovce, konji i fazani kojih je nevjerojatno puno na otoku. Slijedila je ugodna vožnja do početka prekrasnog spusta. Osim veličanstvenog pogleda na Komižu, Biševo i beskrajno more, cijelim me spustom pratila misao kako ću se uspjeti vratiti gore. Ruke su mi već bila poprilično teške, bližilo se podne, a sunce i toplina postajalo je sve jače - kaže Slaven kojeg su pratila dvojica prijatelja, svatko na svom biciklu.

- Nakon odmora u Komiži krenuli smo nazad prema Visu. Temperatura je pokazivala 32 i znao sam da će uspon biti užasno težak.

Lagao bih kada ne bih priznao da mi je kroz glavu prošlo da se jedan od prijatelja vrati po nas džipom. Već sama ruta bila je najteža s kojom sam se susreo dok ju je vrućina činila apsolutno brutalnom. Ali uspinjali smo se i bolje od očekivanog. Svako malo trebao sam se zalijevati i hladiti tijelo kako ne bi došlo do pregrijavanja i toplinskog udara. Sva sreća, vode smo imali dovoljno.

Nakon više od jednog sata prave bitke stigli smo na vrh i tu sam znao da smo najgore prošli.

Ljepote Lijepe naše

Slijedio je potom pravi gušt od vožnje i lagani spust koji ga je odveo do čuvene gostionice Aerodrom gdje je stao da se odmori.
- Tu smo već znali da nas samo sedam kilometara dijeli od Visa i čeka još jedna, zadnja uzbrdica. Jedina briga bila mi je da li će baterija na biciklu izdržati do kraja. Uspon smo riješili i kao nagradu dočekao nas je lijepi spust do Visa s predivnim pogledom na grad.

Nakon četiri i pol sata bicikliranja stigli smo do našeg smještaja. Bio je to težak podvig, ali svakako nagrađujući. Lijepo iskustvo, avantura i nešto što ću pmatiti čitav život - iskreno će Slaven.

Da se moglo kladiti hoće li uspjeti u svom naumu zasigurno bi veliki broj kladioničara uložio novce uvjeren u njegov podvig jer mačji je ovo kašalj za njega, strastvenog putoholičara.

Još donedavno, dok globalna pandemija nije poremetila planove ljubiteljima putovanja, pa tako i njemu, u kolicama je putovao svijetom, osvajajući vrh Petre u Jordanu ili planine na Šri Lanki. Ovog ljeta spletom okolnosti kao i mnogi drugi Hrvati odlučio je bolje upoznati ljepote Lijepe naše. Na popisu otoka koje želi posjetiti Vis je već dulje vrijeme zauzimao jedno od mjesta i sada se pokazao pravi trenutak da napokon dođe na škoj kamo se uputio s osobnim asistentom Žarkom.

- Rujan na Visu bez puno turista pokazao se kao pun pogodak jer sam ga htio doživjeti onako divljeg, kakav je bio prije nego je postao hit destinacija.

U grad Vis smo stigli kasno navečer, bez nekog posebnog plana. Ono što me posebno razveselilo bilo je to što su me na samome dolasku dočekali dečki koji rade sezonu. Već sljedećeg dana krenuli smo aktivno te smo otišli na military turu, posjetio sam gotovo sve tunele i vojne objekte na otoku, radosno će.

Nema sumnje kako će Slaven posebno prilagođenim biciklom s početka naše priče koji mu je pružio jednu sasvim novu dimenziju slobode i samostalnosti uskoro krenuti u ponovno osvajanje svijeta. Poznavajući ga - samo što nije sjeo u avion i uputio se prema nekoj dalekoj destinaciji.

U samo pet dana ljudi dobre volje na društvenim su mrežama prikupili 65 tisuća kuna kako bi Slavenu Škrobotu, koji je zbog kobnog skoka u more postao nepokretan, kupili bicikl namijenjen osobama s posebnim potrebama.

Prvi je to put u deset godina da mu netko ne mora gurati kolica. S tim istim biciklom ovog je ljeta osvajao hrvatske otoke, a sada je na red došao i Vis. Koristeći se samo rukama kojima pokreće bicikl ovaj je Zagrepčanin u nekoliko sati prešao gotovo 50 kilometara vozeći se starom cestom od Visa do Komiže i opet istom rutom natrag.

- Iz Visa sam krenuo oko devet i odmah me za dobro jutro dočekao uspon od pet kilometara do križa i spomenika stradalim pilotima iz Drugog svjetskog rata. S tako nečime se dosad nisam susreo. Obično mi treba oko sat vremena da mi se ruke zagriju tako da mi je prvi uspon oduzeo poprilično energije. Sve je, naravno, otežavalo sunce koje je postajalo sve nemilosrdnije, prisjetio se.

- Nakon rovovske bitke i dolaska do vrha, slijedio je zasluženi spust i ravni dio kroz samu unutrašnjost otoka. Tu su me dočekali vinogradi, polja maslina, ovce, konji i fazani kojih je nevjerojatno puno na otoku. Slijedila je ugodna vožnja do početka prekrasnog spusta. Osim veličanstvenog pogleda na Komižu, Biševo i beskrajno more, cijelim me spustom pratila misao kako ću se uspjeti vratiti gore. Ruke su mi već bila poprilično teške, bližilo se podne, a sunce i toplina postajalo je sve jače - kaže Slaven kojeg su pratila dvojica prijatelja, svatko na svom biciklu.

- Nakon odmora u Komiži krenuli smo nazad prema Visu. Temperatura je pokazivala 32 i znao sam da će uspon biti užasno težak.

Lagao bih kada ne bih priznao da mi je kroz glavu prošlo da se jedan od prijatelja vrati po nas džipom. Već sama ruta bila je najteža s kojom sam se susreo dok ju je vrućina činila apsolutno brutalnom. Ali uspinjali smo se i bolje od očekivanog. Svako malo trebao sam se zalijevati i hladiti tijelo kako ne bi došlo do pregrijavanja i toplinskog udara. Sva sreća, vode smo imali dovoljno.

Nakon više od jednog sata prave bitke stigli smo na vrh i tu sam znao da smo najgore prošli.

Ljepote Lijepe naše

Slijedio je potom pravi gušt od vožnje i lagani spust koji ga je odveo do čuvene gostionice Aerodrom gdje je stao da se odmori.
- Tu smo već znali da nas samo sedam kilometara dijeli od Visa i čeka još jedna, zadnja uzbrdica. Jedina briga bila mi je da li će baterija na biciklu izdržati do kraja. Uspon smo riješili i kao nagradu dočekao nas je lijepi spust do Visa s predivnim pogledom na grad.

Nakon četiri i pol sata bicikliranja stigli smo do našeg smještaja. Bio je to težak podvig, ali svakako nagrađujući. Lijepo iskustvo, avantura i nešto što ću pmatiti čitav život - iskreno će Slaven.

Da se moglo kladiti hoće li uspjeti u svom naumu zasigurno bi veliki broj kladioničara uložio novce uvjeren u njegov podvig jer mačji je ovo kašalj za njega, strastvenog putoholičara.

Još donedavno, dok globalna pandemija nije poremetila planove ljubiteljima putovanja, pa tako i njemu, u kolicama je putovao svijetom, osvajajući vrh Petre u Jordanu ili planine na Šri Lanki. Ovog ljeta spletom okolnosti kao i mnogi drugi Hrvati odlučio je bolje upoznati ljepote Lijepe naše. Na popisu otoka koje želi posjetiti Vis je već dulje vrijeme zauzimao jedno od mjesta i sada se pokazao pravi trenutak da napokon dođe na škoj kamo se uputio s osobnim asistentom Žarkom.

- Rujan na Visu bez puno turista pokazao se kao pun pogodak jer sam ga htio doživjeti onako divljeg, kakav je bio prije nego je postao hit destinacija.

U grad Vis smo stigli kasno navečer, bez nekog posebnog plana. Ono što me posebno razveselilo bilo je to što su me na samome dolasku dočekali dečki koji rade sezonu. Već sljedećeg dana krenuli smo aktivno te smo otišli na military turu, posjetio sam gotovo sve tunele i vojne objekte na otoku, radosno će.

Nema sumnje kako će Slaven posebno prilagođenim biciklom s početka naše priče koji mu je pružio jednu sasvim novu dimenziju slobode i samostalnosti uskoro krenuti u ponovno osvajanje svijeta. Poznavajući ga - samo što nije sjeo u avion i uputio se prema nekoj dalekoj destinaciji.
