Povodom svjetskog Dana planeta Zemlje, Turistička zajednica grada Trogira i Grad Trogir, organizirali su u subotu ronilačko-ekološku akciju čišćenja podmorja na plaži Brigi i na plaži u Mastrinci na Čiovu.
Akciji se odazvalo 8 ronilačkih klubova iz Hrvatske te jedan iz BiH, a sudjelovalo je oko 60 ronioca.
Klubovi koji su se odazvali akciji su: KPA Drava (Varaždin), KPA Iglun (Jesenice), REK Podstrana, RK Giričić (Kaštela); KPA Delfin (Split), RK Mostar, UPA Rostrum (Split), KPA Požega i RK Zenta (Split).
Sudjelovali su i članovi ekološke sekcije Pomorske škole u Splitu, uz potporu više udruga i ostalih volontera.
Grad Trogir, TZ Trogir i Trogir Holding brinuli su za logistički dio akcije.
U nešto više od dva sata ronjenja, na području oko gradske plaže Brigi ronioci su pronašli jako malo otpada odbačenog u more. Uglavnom se radi o ribarskom materijalu i malim količinama plastike i stakla kojima se napunilo tek 10-ak vreća smeća.

„Znajući da podmorje na ovom dijelu nije dugo, ako je ikad prije bilo čišćeno, ostali smo ugodno iznenađeni rezultatima akcije s obzirom na to da je ovo najveća gradska plaža, da je u neposrednoj blizini lučica, brojna gradilišta su bila tu do nedavno, općenito je to jedna jako frekventna lokacija. Čestitke svim sugrađanima što brinu o našem moru i hvala roniocima što su se odazvali na akciju“, rekao je zamjenik gradonačelnika Viktor Novak.
Na plaži u Mastrinci također nije bilo puno smeća. Napunila se jedna „baja“ i to uglavnom automobilskim gumama, uz nešto sitnog otpada.
„Hvala roniocima na inicijativi i vremenu koje su odvojili da očiste more ispred dvije jako posjećene plaže, drage i domaćima i turistima. Srećom, nisu imali puno posla, a to je također važna poruka za sve one kojima je Trogir destinacija za odmor i kupanje. Ponosni smo što se ispostavilo da naše podmorje čisto i što nije bilo scena ogromnih hrpa smeća kako zna biti drugdje. U budućnosti ćemo planirati ovakve akcije i na drugim trogirskim plažama“, rekao je Marin Piveta, direktor TZ Trogir.

I roniocima je čistoća mora bilo nesvakidašnje iznenađenje.
„Mi ronioci kažemo da je najbolja akcija kada se ne nađe ništa, a ovdje je skoro tako i ispalo. More je ovdje super čisto i bilo je to iznenađenje za nas. Predložili smo domaćinima da se na ove plaže stavi plava zastava kao znak čistoće mora. Posebna zahvala ide roniocima iz Mostara koji su unatoč potresu koji ih je zadesio došli jer im je bilo jako stalo da budu tu, samo nisu ostali prespavati zbog te situacije. Nadam se da ćemo uskoro u još većem broju sudjelovati u novoj akciji“, rekao je Teo Baučić iz KPA Iglun.

Povodom svjetskog Dana planeta Zemlje, Turistička zajednica grada Trogira i Grad Trogir, organizirali su u subotu ronilačko-ekološku akciju čišćenja podmorja na plaži Brigi i na plaži u Mastrinci na Čiovu.
Akciji se odazvalo 8 ronilačkih klubova iz Hrvatske te jedan iz BiH, a sudjelovalo je oko 60 ronioca.
Klubovi koji su se odazvali akciji su: KPA Drava (Varaždin), KPA Iglun (Jesenice), REK Podstrana, RK Giričić (Kaštela); KPA Delfin (Split), RK Mostar, UPA Rostrum (Split), KPA Požega i RK Zenta (Split).
Sudjelovali su i članovi ekološke sekcije Pomorske škole u Splitu, uz potporu više udruga i ostalih volontera.
Grad Trogir, TZ Trogir i Trogir Holding brinuli su za logistički dio akcije.
U nešto više od dva sata ronjenja, na području oko gradske plaže Brigi ronioci su pronašli jako malo otpada odbačenog u more. Uglavnom se radi o ribarskom materijalu i malim količinama plastike i stakla kojima se napunilo tek 10-ak vreća smeća.

„Znajući da podmorje na ovom dijelu nije dugo, ako je ikad prije bilo čišćeno, ostali smo ugodno iznenađeni rezultatima akcije s obzirom na to da je ovo najveća gradska plaža, da je u neposrednoj blizini lučica, brojna gradilišta su bila tu do nedavno, općenito je to jedna jako frekventna lokacija. Čestitke svim sugrađanima što brinu o našem moru i hvala roniocima što su se odazvali na akciju“, rekao je zamjenik gradonačelnika Viktor Novak.
Na plaži u Mastrinci također nije bilo puno smeća. Napunila se jedna „baja“ i to uglavnom automobilskim gumama, uz nešto sitnog otpada.
„Hvala roniocima na inicijativi i vremenu koje su odvojili da očiste more ispred dvije jako posjećene plaže, drage i domaćima i turistima. Srećom, nisu imali puno posla, a to je također važna poruka za sve one kojima je Trogir destinacija za odmor i kupanje. Ponosni smo što se ispostavilo da naše podmorje čisto i što nije bilo scena ogromnih hrpa smeća kako zna biti drugdje. U budućnosti ćemo planirati ovakve akcije i na drugim trogirskim plažama“, rekao je Marin Piveta, direktor TZ Trogir.

I roniocima je čistoća mora bilo nesvakidašnje iznenađenje.
„Mi ronioci kažemo da je najbolja akcija kada se ne nađe ništa, a ovdje je skoro tako i ispalo. More je ovdje super čisto i bilo je to iznenađenje za nas. Predložili smo domaćinima da se na ove plaže stavi plava zastava kao znak čistoće mora. Posebna zahvala ide roniocima iz Mostara koji su unatoč potresu koji ih je zadesio došli jer im je bilo jako stalo da budu tu, samo nisu ostali prespavati zbog te situacije. Nadam se da ćemo uskoro u još većem broju sudjelovati u novoj akciji“, rekao je Teo Baučić iz KPA Iglun.
