Tehnološki napredak kao što su dronovi, satelitske snimke, pa čak i infracrveni nišani otežali su prikrivanje ratnih vozila na modernim bojištima, piše The Washington Post. 

Ipak, neki vojni promatrači koji su pomno pratili sukob u Ukrajini tvrde da ruske snage, unatoč svojoj vojnoj nadmoći, na polju prikrivanja tragova pokazuju zapanjujuć stupanj neprofesionalizma.

Ukrajinci imaju bolje rješenje

Prema Jasonovim riječima, Ukrajina se koristi taktikom sličnom američkoj koja se sastoji od toga da se cijelo vozilo prekrije laganom maskirnom mrežom čak i onda kada se ne kreće pa premda to i bilo samo na kratko. Ukrajinci su viđeni kako koriste kombinaciju mreže i lišća čime uspješno sakrivaju trup vozila. Jason nagađa kako je izrazito čudno to da je Rusija podbacila na ovom koraku pa pretpostavlja i da bi ovo samo mogao biti trik kojim planiraju zavarati protivnika. 

- Možda tako žele smanjiti ili izobličiti toplinski potpis kojeg onda hvata određeno oružje, kazao je.

Koriste se lažnim taktikama

Ova ideja ne bi bila začuđujuća jer su Rusi i ranije već pokušali na nekoliko načina prevariti Ukrajince koristeći se lažnim taktikama pomoću kojih su zbunili njih, ali i sve zapadne promatrače. Razgovarali su na nesigurnim radijima i mobilnim telefonima te dopuštali neprijateljskim špijunima da blokiranju njihovu komunikaciju. 

Ono što najviše zbunjuje je i to što su ruske jedinice ranije bile poznato po vještini u prikrivanju svojih vozila, a postoje i dokazi da su to činile i u prijašnjim vojnim vježbama. Tek 2018., ruski državni mediji izvještavali su o naprednim maskirnim prototipima svojih vojnih snaga, za koje kaže da su sposobni oponašati ekološki okoliš.

Ipak, neki vojni promatrači koji su pomno pratili sukob u Ukrajini tvrde da ruske snage, unatoč svojoj vojnoj nadmoći, na polju prikrivanja tragova pokazuju zapanjujuć stupanj neprofesionalizma.

Ukrajinci imaju bolje rješenje

Prema Jasonovim riječima, Ukrajina se koristi taktikom sličnom američkoj koja se sastoji od toga da se cijelo vozilo prekrije laganom maskirnom mrežom čak i onda kada se ne kreće pa premda to i bilo samo na kratko. Ukrajinci su viđeni kako koriste kombinaciju mreže i lišća čime uspješno sakrivaju trup vozila. Jason nagađa kako je izrazito čudno to da je Rusija podbacila na ovom koraku pa pretpostavlja i da bi ovo samo mogao biti trik kojim planiraju zavarati protivnika. 

- Možda tako žele smanjiti ili izobličiti toplinski potpis kojeg onda hvata određeno oružje, kazao je.

Koriste se lažnim taktikama

Ova ideja ne bi bila začuđujuća jer su Rusi i ranije već pokušali na nekoliko načina prevariti Ukrajince koristeći se lažnim taktikama pomoću kojih su zbunili njih, ali i sve zapadne promatrače. Razgovarali su na nesigurnim radijima i mobilnim telefonima te dopuštali neprijateljskim špijunima da blokiranju njihovu komunikaciju. 

Ono što najviše zbunjuje je i to što su ruske jedinice ranije bile poznato po vještini u prikrivanju svojih vozila, a postoje i dokazi da su to činile i u prijašnjim vojnim vježbama. Tek 2018., ruski državni mediji izvještavali su o naprednim maskirnim prototipima svojih vojnih snaga, za koje kaže da su sposobni oponašati ekološki okoliš.
