Njemački automobilski koncern Volkswagen mora njemačkim kupcima modela s manipuliranim dizelskim motorima načelno isplatiti odštetu, odlučio je Vrhovni sud Njemačke u ponedjeljak.

"Ova presuda predstavlja pravnu sigurnost za milijune potrošača u Njemačkoj i još jednom pokazuje da niti veliki koncerni ne stoje iznad zakona", rekao je odvjetnik Claus Goldenstein koji zastupa interese tužitelja ali i daljnjih 20-tak tisuća klijenata koji su oštećeni kupnjom Volkswagenovih automobila s manipuliranim motorima.

Vrhovni sud Njemačke u Karlsruheu potvrdio je time prijašnju presudu pokrajinskog suda u Koblenzu koji je jednom kupcu modela Sharan presudio obeštećenje u visini od 26.000 eura.

Tužitelj i kompanija Volkswagen su uložili žalbu na tadašnju presudu. VW ju je htio u potpunosti poništiti a tužitelj je smatrao nepravednim što mu nije odobren povrat pune cijene od 31.000 eura, koliko je 2014. platio za svoj automobil, nego je odbijena vrijednost zbog korištenja vozila.

Vrhovni sud je zaključio da je tužitelj "svjesno i nemoralno" oštećen od strane tuženog. Nadalje se zaključuje kako je Volkswagen "sustavno i dugotrajno" u promet puštao vozila čiji su motori bili programirani za izdavanje lažnih podataka. Sve to se odvijalo, kako stoji u sudskoj odluci, u sklopu "strategije kompanije".

Današnja odluka će utjecati i na ostale tužbe protiv Volkswagena u Njemačkoj. Procjenjuje se da bi ukupno oko 60.000 klijenata moglo tražiti povrat novca za svoje modele u koje je ugrađen dizel motor manipuliran tako da na ispitivanju ispušnih plinova pokazuje lažne, smanjene vrijednosti.

Njemački automobilski koncern Volkswagen mora njemačkim kupcima modela s manipuliranim dizelskim motorima načelno isplatiti odštetu, odlučio je Vrhovni sud Njemačke u ponedjeljak.

"Ova presuda predstavlja pravnu sigurnost za milijune potrošača u Njemačkoj i još jednom pokazuje da niti veliki koncerni ne stoje iznad zakona", rekao je odvjetnik Claus Goldenstein koji zastupa interese tužitelja ali i daljnjih 20-tak tisuća klijenata koji su oštećeni kupnjom Volkswagenovih automobila s manipuliranim motorima.

Vrhovni sud Njemačke u Karlsruheu potvrdio je time prijašnju presudu pokrajinskog suda u Koblenzu koji je jednom kupcu modela Sharan presudio obeštećenje u visini od 26.000 eura.

Tužitelj i kompanija Volkswagen su uložili žalbu na tadašnju presudu. VW ju je htio u potpunosti poništiti a tužitelj je smatrao nepravednim što mu nije odobren povrat pune cijene od 31.000 eura, koliko je 2014. platio za svoj automobil, nego je odbijena vrijednost zbog korištenja vozila.

Vrhovni sud je zaključio da je tužitelj "svjesno i nemoralno" oštećen od strane tuženog. Nadalje se zaključuje kako je Volkswagen "sustavno i dugotrajno" u promet puštao vozila čiji su motori bili programirani za izdavanje lažnih podataka. Sve to se odvijalo, kako stoji u sudskoj odluci, u sklopu "strategije kompanije".

Današnja odluka će utjecati i na ostale tužbe protiv Volkswagena u Njemačkoj. Procjenjuje se da bi ukupno oko 60.000 klijenata moglo tražiti povrat novca za svoje modele u koje je ugrađen dizel motor manipuliran tako da na ispitivanju ispušnih plinova pokazuje lažne, smanjene vrijednosti.
