Odvjetnici američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa u srijedu su od suda zatražili da ga proglasi pobjednikom predsjedničkih izbora u Pennsylvaniji a da zastupnički dom te države, koji kontroliraju republikanci, izabere elektore koji će glasati za predsjednika SAD-a.

U podnesku sudu Trumpova kampanja je od suca Matthewa Branna zatražila da razmotri donošenje odluke da su "rezultati općih predsjedničkih izbora 2020. neispravni te da se zastupničkom domu prepusti izbor elektora Pennsylvanije".

Taj je zahtjev uključen u širi pokušaj Trumpovih suradnika da dopuni tužbu od 9. studenog kojom osporavaju ishod izbora u Pennsylvaniji na kojima  je Trumpa pobijedio kandidat demokrata Joe Biden.

Na razini Sjedinjenih Država Biden je dobio 306 elektorskih glasova a Trump 232. Za pobjedu je potrebno 270 elektora te bi Tarump morao promijeniti ishod u Pennsylvaniji, koja nosi 20 elektorskih glasova, i još dvije države.

Biden je u Pennsylvaniji dobio oko 82.000 glasova više od Trumpa.

Trumpov pravni tim koji vodi njegov osobni odvjetnik Rudy Giuliani, od suca Branna tražio je i dopuštenje da u podnesak vrati zahtjeve od kojih je u nedjelju odustao i izbacio iz svog dokumenta. Oni tvrde da republikanskim promatračima nije omogućen pristup prebrojavanju glasova poslanih poštom, što izborni dužnosnici odbacuju.   

U podnesku se tvrdi i da su okružni izborni dužnosnici postupali nedosljedno s glasovima poslanim poštom jer se u nekim okruzima pozivalo glasače da isprave manje nepravilnosti dok u drugima nije.    

Brann je na saslušanju u utorak izrazio skepsu u uspjeh parnice.

Trumpov slučaj je duboko manjkav i ne pruža mu "nikakva realan put za promjenu rezultata", ocijenio je Justin Levitt, profesor pravnog fakulteta Loyola koji prati sudski postupak.  

Izmijenjeni podnesak "ne nudi nikakvu naznaku da je broj nevažećih glasova dovoljan da promijeni izbore", rekao je Levit i dodao da "sud neće odbaciti glasove, ili zaustaviti prebrojavanje, bez stvarnog dokaza da su sporni glasovi nevažeći". 

Trumpova kampanja podnijela je pokrenula niz sudskih proces u nastojanju da promijeni ishod izbora a Trump bez dokaza tvrdi da su izbori "ukradeni".

Odvjetnici američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa u srijedu su od suda zatražili da ga proglasi pobjednikom predsjedničkih izbora u Pennsylvaniji a da zastupnički dom te države, koji kontroliraju republikanci, izabere elektore koji će glasati za predsjednika SAD-a.

U podnesku sudu Trumpova kampanja je od suca Matthewa Branna zatražila da razmotri donošenje odluke da su "rezultati općih predsjedničkih izbora 2020. neispravni te da se zastupničkom domu prepusti izbor elektora Pennsylvanije".

Taj je zahtjev uključen u širi pokušaj Trumpovih suradnika da dopuni tužbu od 9. studenog kojom osporavaju ishod izbora u Pennsylvaniji na kojima  je Trumpa pobijedio kandidat demokrata Joe Biden.

Na razini Sjedinjenih Država Biden je dobio 306 elektorskih glasova a Trump 232. Za pobjedu je potrebno 270 elektora te bi Tarump morao promijeniti ishod u Pennsylvaniji, koja nosi 20 elektorskih glasova, i još dvije države.

Biden je u Pennsylvaniji dobio oko 82.000 glasova više od Trumpa.

Trumpov pravni tim koji vodi njegov osobni odvjetnik Rudy Giuliani, od suca Branna tražio je i dopuštenje da u podnesak vrati zahtjeve od kojih je u nedjelju odustao i izbacio iz svog dokumenta. Oni tvrde da republikanskim promatračima nije omogućen pristup prebrojavanju glasova poslanih poštom, što izborni dužnosnici odbacuju.   

U podnesku se tvrdi i da su okružni izborni dužnosnici postupali nedosljedno s glasovima poslanim poštom jer se u nekim okruzima pozivalo glasače da isprave manje nepravilnosti dok u drugima nije.    

Brann je na saslušanju u utorak izrazio skepsu u uspjeh parnice.

Trumpov slučaj je duboko manjkav i ne pruža mu "nikakva realan put za promjenu rezultata", ocijenio je Justin Levitt, profesor pravnog fakulteta Loyola koji prati sudski postupak.  

Izmijenjeni podnesak "ne nudi nikakvu naznaku da je broj nevažećih glasova dovoljan da promijeni izbore", rekao je Levit i dodao da "sud neće odbaciti glasove, ili zaustaviti prebrojavanje, bez stvarnog dokaza da su sporni glasovi nevažeći". 

Trumpova kampanja podnijela je pokrenula niz sudskih proces u nastojanju da promijeni ishod izbora a Trump bez dokaza tvrdi da su izbori "ukradeni".

Odvjetnici američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa u srijedu su od suda zatražili da ga proglasi pobjednikom predsjedničkih izbora u Pennsylvaniji a da zastupnički dom te države, koji kontroliraju republikanci, izabere elektore koji će glasati za predsjednika SAD-a.

U podnesku sudu Trumpova kampanja je od suca Matthewa Branna zatražila da razmotri donošenje odluke da su "rezultati općih predsjedničkih izbora 2020. neispravni te da se zastupničkom domu prepusti izbor elektora Pennsylvanije".

Taj je zahtjev uključen u širi pokušaj Trumpovih suradnika da dopuni tužbu od 9. studenog kojom osporavaju ishod izbora u Pennsylvaniji na kojima  je Trumpa pobijedio kandidat demokrata Joe Biden.
