Premda je dao zeleno svjetlo nadležnim državnim agencijama za početak procesa predaje vlasti, Donald Trump sa suradnicima ne posustaje u upornom ponavljanju optužbi kojima pokušava dokazati kako je na izborima – pokraden.

Nakon niza urotničkih teorija – od globalnoga udruživanja radikalnih ljevičara do uporabe softvera koji je financiran od strane pokojnoga lidera Venezuele Huga Chaveza, a čiji se serveri nalaze u Njemačkoj – sve se važeće pritužbe izbornoga gubitnika uglavnom svode na navodne zloporabe elektroničkog sustava glasanja (tzv. voting machines).

Trump i suradnici tvrde da su im glasački strojevi rutinski izbrisali milijune glasova te da je softverskim manipulacijama kompanije koja ih proizvodi, Dominion Voting System, izborna volja u ključnim državama preokrenuta u korist Joea Bidena.

Svojim zadnjim naporima Trumpovi se suradnici trude dokazati i kako su na ovu tvrtku republikanski politički rivali godinama imali neprimjeren utjecaj.

Printani glasovi

Iz hrvatske perspektive, glasački strojevi svakako su tehnološki kuriozum koji valja detaljnije predstaviti. Zbog svoje veličine i velikoga broja federalnih jedinica SAD ima jedan od kompliciranijih izbornih sustava na svijetu, američka Izborna komisija je zbog efikasnijeg povezivanja zemlje u izborni proces još 2005. godine dala preporuku o uvođenju u upotrebu strojeva za glasanje. Oni se u praksi svode na dva modela takvih naprava – optičke i digitalne.

Optička verzija glasačkog stroja dosta nalikuje na klasični printer te ima mogućnost prepoznavanja pisma, tj. zaokruženog imena kandidata na papirnatom glasačkom listiću. Nakon što stroj skenira ispunjeni glasački listić, njegov sofver bilježi birački glas i pribraja ga drugima u svojoj bazi.

U zadnje vrijeme diljem SAD-a pojavili su se i posve digitalizirani glasački strojevi koji su nalik na veliki tablet, s ekranom osjetljivim na dodir. Na njima birač nakon osobne identifikacije čipiranom karticom glasa jednostavnim dodirom na ime kandidata kojega preferira. Nakon toga, u svrhu dokaza printa se tiskani primjerak listića koji potom arhivira lokalni izborni službenik.

Okrenuli mu leđa

Obje verzije stroja na glasačkim mjestima umrežene su posebnom "intranet“ mrežom te imaju nekoliko razina zaštite od zloporaba: višestruku provjeru identiteta birača, kao i kriptiranje (šifriranje) takvih podataka i samoga sadržaja izjašnjavanja.

IT stručnjaci prilično su suglasni da je praktično nemoguće taj sistem upregnuti u izbornu urotu, a pogotovo da se glasovi jednog kandidata masovno pripišu drugom, kako je u više navrata tvrdio Trump.

Isto tvrde i u nestranačkoj američkoj kompaniji Dominion Voting Systems koja izbornom tehnologijom opskrbljuje i Kanadu, te još neke strane zemlje.

- Našim izbornim sustavom upravljaju lokalni dužnosnici i nestranački izborni promatrači. Mi jednostavno nudimo samo alat za ispis i brojanje glasačkih listića - izjavio je menadžer kompanije Michael Steel, negirajući bilo kakve veze između Dominion Votinga i Venezuele, Njemačke ili drugih svjetskih lokacija uz koje ih vezuju Trumpove teorije zavjere.

Premda Trumpova kampanja još nije ponudila nikakvu razumnu potkrepu svojim optužbama o izbornoj prijevari putem glasačkih strojeva, odvjetnik Rudy Giuliani i bivši američki veleposlanik u Njemačkoj Richard Grenell zagriženi su širitelji priče o podmukloj neprijateljskoj tehnologiji koja ih je stajala pobjede.

To uvijek zvuči puno bolje, i u javnosti i pred ogledalom, od prilično bolne istine da im je većina američkog naroda svečano uručila otkaz i okrenula leđa.

Premda je dao zeleno svjetlo nadležnim državnim agencijama za početak procesa predaje vlasti, Donald Trump sa suradnicima ne posustaje u upornom ponavljanju optužbi kojima pokušava dokazati kako je na izborima – pokraden.

Nakon niza urotničkih teorija – od globalnoga udruživanja radikalnih ljevičara do uporabe softvera koji je financiran od strane pokojnoga lidera Venezuele Huga Chaveza, a čiji se serveri nalaze u Njemačkoj – sve se važeće pritužbe izbornoga gubitnika uglavnom svode na navodne zloporabe elektroničkog sustava glasanja (tzv. voting machines).

Trump i suradnici tvrde da su im glasački strojevi rutinski izbrisali milijune glasova te da je softverskim manipulacijama kompanije koja ih proizvodi, Dominion Voting System, izborna volja u ključnim državama preokrenuta u korist Joea Bidena.

Svojim zadnjim naporima Trumpovi se suradnici trude dokazati i kako su na ovu tvrtku republikanski politički rivali godinama imali neprimjeren utjecaj.

Printani glasovi

Iz hrvatske perspektive, glasački strojevi svakako su tehnološki kuriozum koji valja detaljnije predstaviti. Zbog svoje veličine i velikoga broja federalnih jedinica SAD ima jedan od kompliciranijih izbornih sustava na svijetu, američka Izborna komisija je zbog efikasnijeg povezivanja zemlje u izborni proces još 2005. godine dala preporuku o uvođenju u upotrebu strojeva za glasanje. Oni se u praksi svode na dva modela takvih naprava – optičke i digitalne.

Optička verzija glasačkog stroja dosta nalikuje na klasični printer te ima mogućnost prepoznavanja pisma, tj. zaokruženog imena kandidata na papirnatom glasačkom listiću. Nakon što stroj skenira ispunjeni glasački listić, njegov sofver bilježi birački glas i pribraja ga drugima u svojoj bazi.

U zadnje vrijeme diljem SAD-a pojavili su se i posve digitalizirani glasački strojevi koji su nalik na veliki tablet, s ekranom osjetljivim na dodir. Na njima birač nakon osobne identifikacije čipiranom karticom glasa jednostavnim dodirom na ime kandidata kojega preferira. Nakon toga, u svrhu dokaza printa se tiskani primjerak listića koji potom arhivira lokalni izborni službenik.

Okrenuli mu leđa

Obje verzije stroja na glasačkim mjestima umrežene su posebnom "intranet“ mrežom te imaju nekoliko razina zaštite od zloporaba: višestruku provjeru identiteta birača, kao i kriptiranje (šifriranje) takvih podataka i samoga sadržaja izjašnjavanja.

IT stručnjaci prilično su suglasni da je praktično nemoguće taj sistem upregnuti u izbornu urotu, a pogotovo da se glasovi jednog kandidata masovno pripišu drugom, kako je u više navrata tvrdio Trump.

Isto tvrde i u nestranačkoj američkoj kompaniji Dominion Voting Systems koja izbornom tehnologijom opskrbljuje i Kanadu, te još neke strane zemlje.

- Našim izbornim sustavom upravljaju lokalni dužnosnici i nestranački izborni promatrači. Mi jednostavno nudimo samo alat za ispis i brojanje glasačkih listića - izjavio je menadžer kompanije Michael Steel, negirajući bilo kakve veze između Dominion Votinga i Venezuele, Njemačke ili drugih svjetskih lokacija uz koje ih vezuju Trumpove teorije zavjere.

Premda Trumpova kampanja još nije ponudila nikakvu razumnu potkrepu svojim optužbama o izbornoj prijevari putem glasačkih strojeva, odvjetnik Rudy Giuliani i bivši američki veleposlanik u Njemačkoj Richard Grenell zagriženi su širitelji priče o podmukloj neprijateljskoj tehnologiji koja ih je stajala pobjede.

To uvijek zvuči puno bolje, i u javnosti i pred ogledalom, od prilično bolne istine da im je većina američkog naroda svečano uručila otkaz i okrenula leđa.

Premda je dao zeleno svjetlo nadležnim državnim agencijama za početak procesa predaje vlasti, Donald Trump sa suradnicima ne posustaje u upornom ponavljanju optužbi kojima pokušava dokazati kako je na izborima – pokraden.

Nakon niza urotničkih teorija – od globalnoga udruživanja radikalnih ljevičara do uporabe softvera koji je financiran od strane pokojnoga lidera Venezuele Huga Chaveza, a čiji se serveri nalaze u Njemačkoj – sve se važeće pritužbe izbornoga gubitnika uglavnom svode na navodne zloporabe elektroničkog sustava glasanja (tzv. voting machines).

Trump i suradnici tvrde da su im glasački strojevi rutinski izbrisali milijune glasova te da je softverskim manipulacijama kompanije koja ih proizvodi, Dominion Voting System, izborna volja u ključnim državama...
