Najmanje šesnaest osoba poginulo je u utorak u novim sukobima pobunjenika iz organizacije Šebab i umjerene islamističke skupine Ahlu Suna Val Džama (provladina) u središtu Somalije, doznaje se od nekoliko izvora.

Sukobi su izbili u ponedjeljak navečer u selima Vabho i Varholo i nastavili su se u utorak dopodne.

"Otjerat ćemo ih iz njihovih posljednjih uporišta i, ako Bog da, s cijelog ovog područja", kazao je šeik Abdulahi Abdurahman Abu Jusuf, zapovjednik Ahlu Sune.

"Ubili smo velik broj neprijatelja i izgubili jednog borca", kazao je.

Tamošnja vlast u Mogadišu javlja da je u sukobima najmanje šesnaestero mrtvih. "Većina žrtava su borci, a civili su pobjegli iz dvaju sela", dodao je čelnik Moalim Mohamud.

Vođe Šebaba potvrdili su da su sukobi izbili, ali nisu htjeli dati druge informacije.

Povrh toga, stotine civila napustile su mjesto Beledvejn, 400 km sjeverozapadno od Mogadišua, uz etiopsku granicu, gdje se od nedjelje pripadnici Ahlu Sune zajedno s provladinim klanskim milicijama bore s islamistički pobunjenici iz Hezb al-Islama.

Već tjedan dana traju žestoke borbe između provladinih snaga i islamističkih pobunjenika koji kontroliraju središte i jug zemlje, na više mjesta u središtu Somalije.

Najmanje šesnaest osoba poginulo je u utorak u novim sukobima pobunjenika iz organizacije Šebab i umjerene islamističke skupine Ahlu Suna Val Džama (provladina) u središtu Somalije, doznaje se od nekoliko izvora.

Sukobi su izbili u ponedjeljak navečer u selima Vabho i Varholo i nastavili su se u utorak dopodne.

"Otjerat ćemo ih iz njihovih posljednjih uporišta i, ako Bog da, s cijelog ovog područja", kazao je šeik Abdulahi Abdurahman Abu Jusuf, zapovjednik Ahlu Sune.

"Ubili smo velik broj neprijatelja i izgubili jednog borca", kazao je.

Tamošnja vlast u Mogadišu javlja da je u sukobima najmanje šesnaestero mrtvih. "Većina žrtava su borci, a civili su pobjegli iz dvaju sela", dodao je čelnik Moalim Mohamud.

Vođe Šebaba potvrdili su da su sukobi izbili, ali nisu htjeli dati druge informacije.

Povrh toga, stotine civila napustile su mjesto Beledvejn, 400 km sjeverozapadno od Mogadišua, uz etiopsku granicu, gdje se od nedjelje pripadnici Ahlu Sune zajedno s provladinim klanskim milicijama bore s islamistički pobunjenici iz Hezb al-Islama.

Već tjedan dana traju žestoke borbe između provladinih snaga i islamističkih pobunjenika koji kontroliraju središte i jug zemlje, na više mjesta u središtu Somalije.
