Šire područje japanskog glavnog grada Tokija u ponedjeljak je zahvatio jedan od najsnažnijih tajfuna u posljednjih nekoliko godina, izazvavši rekordno snažne vjetrove i jake pljuskove, prekid javnog prijevoza i nestanak struje, a prema posljednjim podacima jedna je osoba poginula.

Tajfun Faxai pogodio je područje Chibe, istočno od središta Tokija, u ponedjeljak nešto prije svitanja, vjetrovima brzine 207 kilometara na sat, najsnažnijim ikad zabilježenima u tome području, izvijestila je Japanska meteorološka agencija. Vlasti su u širem području glavnoga grada, gdje živi oko 36 milijuna ljudi, upozorile građane da je opasno izlaziti na ulice.

Prema posljednjim podacima, poginula je jedna žena u pedesetim godinama, a lokalni mediji prenose da je ozlijeđeno desetak osoba. Više od 130 letova je otkazano i zatvorene su brojne željezničke linije. Oluja je odnijela nekoliko krovova, te je u širem području glavnog grada više od 920 tisuća domova ostalo bez struje, uključujući čitav grad Kamogawu.

Više od pet tisuća ljudi je evakuirano, od čega više od polovice u turističkom gradu Kamakuri južno od Tokija, zbog opasnosti od odrona.

Japan svake godine pogodi četiri do pet tajfuna, ali uglavnom zaobilazeći Tokio. Prema nacionalnoj televiziji NHK, Faxai je najsnažnija oluja koja je zahvatila područje glavnog grada u posljednjih nekoliko godina.

Očekuje se da će se Faxai do podneva u ponedjeljak preseliti na otvoreno more, iako bi vjetrovi mogli potrajati nešto duže.

Šire područje japanskog glavnog grada Tokija u ponedjeljak je zahvatio jedan od najsnažnijih tajfuna u posljednjih nekoliko godina, izazvavši rekordno snažne vjetrove i jake pljuskove, prekid javnog prijevoza i nestanak struje, a prema posljednjim podacima jedna je osoba poginula.

Tajfun Faxai pogodio je područje Chibe, istočno od središta Tokija, u ponedjeljak nešto prije svitanja, vjetrovima brzine 207 kilometara na sat, najsnažnijim ikad zabilježenima u tome području, izvijestila je Japanska meteorološka agencija. Vlasti su u širem području glavnoga grada, gdje živi oko 36 milijuna ljudi, upozorile građane da je opasno izlaziti na ulice.

Prema posljednjim podacima, poginula je jedna žena u pedesetim godinama, a lokalni mediji prenose da je ozlijeđeno desetak osoba. Više od 130 letova je otkazano i zatvorene su brojne željezničke linije. Oluja je odnijela nekoliko krovova, te je u širem području glavnog grada više od 920 tisuća domova ostalo bez struje, uključujući čitav grad Kamogawu.

Više od pet tisuća ljudi je evakuirano, od čega više od polovice u turističkom gradu Kamakuri južno od Tokija, zbog opasnosti od odrona.

Japan svake godine pogodi četiri do pet tajfuna, ali uglavnom zaobilazeći Tokio. Prema nacionalnoj televiziji NHK, Faxai je najsnažnija oluja koja je zahvatila područje glavnog grada u posljednjih nekoliko godina.

Očekuje se da će se Faxai do podneva u ponedjeljak preseliti na otvoreno more, iako bi vjetrovi mogli potrajati nešto duže.
