O tome se već neko vrijeme spekulira, a čini se kako su sada i definitivno prelomili: Slovaci će Ukrajincima poslati svoju flotu borbenih zrakoplova MiG-29. Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski traži MIG-ove otkad je započela ruska invazija, a Moskva stalno upozorava da bi slanje borbenih zrakoplova bio prelazak 'crvene linije' nakon čega bi smatrali države donatore legitimnom vojnom metom. No, pitanje je koliko su takve prijetnje prazne, s obzirom na ogromne količine naprednih sustava koje su zapadne države dostavile Ukrajini proteklih tjedana - od američkih HIMARS-a, britanskih MLRS-ova do njemačkih Panzerhaubitze 2000 artiljerijskih sustava i helikoptera.  

Slovački ministar obrane Jaroslav Nad, ovaj je tjedan potvrdio da su spremni razgovarati o tome da prebace jedanaest slovačkih MiG-ova u Ukrajinu.

Riječ je uglavnom o jednosjedima MiG-29AS, te o jednom dvosjedu MiG-29UBS. Lovci su obnovljeni i unaprijeđeni na NATO standarde početkom dvijetisućitih, a među nadogradnjama je NATO-ov sustav prepoznavanja prijateljskih i neprijateljskih  letjelica (IFF), te višenamjenski zasloni u kokpitu.

Kad se početkom srpnja počelo šuškati o ovoj mogućnosti specijalizirani portal za vojnu tehnologiju The Drive War Zone nije isključio mogućnost da će slovački MiG-ovi možda biti čak i rastavljeni te tako poslani u Ukrajinu kopnenim putem, umjesto da sami prelete preko granice. Iako bi Rusija na svaki mogući način željela spriječiti takvu vojnu pošiljku, vojni stručnjaci smatraju da doista malo što mogu učiniti osim eventualne špijunske diverzije, budući posjeduju vrlo ograničene mogućnosti dugog dometa za gađanje pokretnih ciljeva poput kopnenih pošiljki. U dosadašnjem tijeku rata su bili vrlo neučinkoviti u ovom pogledu. I prije se jedna jako važna donacija iz Slovačke već uspješno odvila. Radilo se o isporuci moćnog raketnog sustava S-300, koji je u Ukrajinu poslan nakon što su Sjedinjene Američke države u zamjenu Slovacima poslali sustav „Patriot“.

Od početka ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, Slovačka je započela pregovore o mogućem doniranju svojih MiG-ova ukrajinskim snagama. Sada kada je, čini se, postignut dogovor sa svim uključenim stranama, izgledi da će ukrajinske snage dobiti isporuku MiG-ova 29 u bliskoj budućnosti konačno bi mogli postati stvarnost. Ukrajinski piloti već lete na MiG-u 29 pa im nije potrebna dodatna obuka.

Slovaci će dobiti lovce F-16 

Poznato je da se Bratislava već duže vrijeme pokušava riješiti ovisnost zemlje o floti zastarjelih MiG-ova 29 koji potječu još iz razdoblja Hladnog rata, a koji su prizemljeni. Da bi se moglo ovo dogoditi bilo je jasno početkom srpnja kad je češki premijer Petar Fiale izjavio da će češko ratno zrakoplovstvo uskoro preuzeti dužnosti nadzora zračnog prostora Slovačke. 

Češki i poljski zrakoplovi od početka rujna preuzimaju zaštitu zračnog prostora Slovačke, a naknadno će Slovaci dobiti nove zrakoplove iz SAD-a. Slovački premijer Eduard Heger kazao je na sastanku s Fialom kako bi sporazum o češkom nadzoru slovačkog neba mogao trajati oko godine dana - vjerojatno period unutar kojeg se Bratislava nada dobiti svoje prve primjerke Block 70 verzije F-16 lovaca.

Slovačka je potpisala ugovor o kupnji 14 američkih borbenih zrakoplova F-16 Block 70/72, ali je početak njihove isporuke bio odgođen za 2024. godinu.

O tome se već neko vrijeme spekulira, a čini se kako su sada i definitivno prelomili: Slovaci će Ukrajincima poslati svoju flotu borbenih zrakoplova MiG-29. Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski traži MIG-ove otkad je započela ruska invazija, a Moskva stalno upozorava da bi slanje borbenih zrakoplova bio prelazak 'crvene linije' nakon čega bi smatrali države donatore legitimnom vojnom metom. No, pitanje je koliko su takve prijetnje prazne, s obzirom na ogromne količine naprednih sustava koje su zapadne države dostavile Ukrajini proteklih tjedana - od američkih HIMARS-a, britanskih MLRS-ova do njemačkih Panzerhaubitze 2000 artiljerijskih sustava i helikoptera.  

Slovački ministar obrane Jaroslav Nad, ovaj je tjedan potvrdio da su spremni razgovarati o tome da prebace jedanaest slovačkih MiG-ova u Ukrajinu.

Riječ je uglavnom o jednosjedima MiG-29AS, te o jednom dvosjedu MiG-29UBS. Lovci su obnovljeni i unaprijeđeni na NATO standarde početkom dvijetisućitih, a među nadogradnjama je NATO-ov sustav prepoznavanja prijateljskih i neprijateljskih  letjelica (IFF), te višenamjenski zasloni u kokpitu.

Kad se početkom srpnja počelo šuškati o ovoj mogućnosti specijalizirani portal za vojnu tehnologiju The Drive War Zone nije isključio mogućnost da će slovački MiG-ovi možda biti čak i rastavljeni te tako poslani u Ukrajinu kopnenim putem, umjesto da sami prelete preko granice. Iako bi Rusija na svaki mogući način željela spriječiti takvu vojnu pošiljku, vojni stručnjaci smatraju da doista malo što mogu učiniti osim eventualne špijunske diverzije, budući posjeduju vrlo ograničene mogućnosti dugog dometa za gađanje pokretnih ciljeva poput kopnenih pošiljki. U dosadašnjem tijeku rata su bili vrlo neučinkoviti u ovom pogledu. I prije se jedna jako važna donacija iz Slovačke već uspješno odvila. Radilo se o isporuci moćnog raketnog sustava S-300, koji je u Ukrajinu poslan nakon što su Sjedinjene Američke države u zamjenu Slovacima poslali sustav „Patriot“.

Od početka ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, Slovačka je započela pregovore o mogućem doniranju svojih MiG-ova ukrajinskim snagama. Sada kada je, čini se, postignut dogovor sa svim uključenim stranama, izgledi da će ukrajinske snage dobiti isporuku MiG-ova 29 u bliskoj budućnosti konačno bi mogli postati stvarnost. Ukrajinski piloti već lete na MiG-u 29 pa im nije potrebna dodatna obuka.

Slovaci će dobiti lovce F-16 

Poznato je da se Bratislava već duže vrijeme pokušava riješiti ovisnost zemlje o floti zastarjelih MiG-ova 29 koji potječu još iz razdoblja Hladnog rata, a koji su prizemljeni. Da bi se moglo ovo dogoditi bilo je jasno početkom srpnja kad je češki premijer Petar Fiale izjavio da će češko ratno zrakoplovstvo uskoro preuzeti dužnosti nadzora zračnog prostora Slovačke. 

Češki i poljski zrakoplovi od početka rujna preuzimaju zaštitu zračnog prostora Slovačke, a naknadno će Slovaci dobiti nove zrakoplove iz SAD-a. Slovački premijer Eduard Heger kazao je na sastanku s Fialom kako bi sporazum o češkom nadzoru slovačkog neba mogao trajati oko godine dana - vjerojatno period unutar kojeg se Bratislava nada dobiti svoje prve primjerke Block 70 verzije F-16 lovaca.

Slovačka je potpisala ugovor o kupnji 14 američkih borbenih zrakoplova F-16 Block 70/72, ali je početak njihove isporuke bio odgođen za 2024. godinu.

O tome se već neko vrijeme spekulira, a čini se kako su sada i definitivno prelomili: Slovaci će Ukrajincima poslati svoju flotu borbenih zrakoplova MiG-29. Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski traži MIG-ove otkad je započela ruska invazija, a Moskva stalno upozorava da bi slanje borbenih zrakoplova bio prelazak 'crvene linije' nakon čega bi smatrali države donatore legitimnom vojnom metom. No, pitanje je koliko su takve prijetnje prazne, s obzirom na ogromne količine naprednih sustava koje su zapadne države dostavile Ukrajini proteklih tjedana - od američkih HIMARS-a, britanskih MLRS-ova do njemačkih Panzerhaubitze 2000 artiljerijskih sustava i helikoptera.
