SAD je zabranio nekolicini velikih kineskih tvrtki uvoz tona ljudske kose na američko tržište, zbog zabrinutosti da ona potječe od pripadnika etničkih manjina prisiljenih na brijanje glava u zloglasnim kineskim logorima – piše DailyMail.

Prema podacima istraživačke kompanije Mintel, industrija ljudske kose, koja je također poznata kao "crno zlato", u 2018. godini zaradila je više od 2,5 milijarde dolara za američko gospodarstvo. Velika većina proizvoda od kose dolazi iz Azije, uglavnom iz Kine, javlja CNN.

Otkriveno je da većina uvezene kineske kose dolazi iz daleke zapadne regije Xinjiang, gdje navodno etičke manjine tjeraju na prisilan rad. Kako izvještavaju aktivističke skupine, radi se o području gdje se od 2016. do danas u logorima nalazi dva milijuna Ujgura i pripadnika drugih etničkih manjina.

Bivši zatvorenici opisali su kako su u tim logorima trpjeli mučenja i zlostavljanja, uključujući puštanje struje kroz tijelo, nametljive medicinske preglede, prisilne sterilizacije, te - brijanje glave.

Američka carina krenula je plijeniti pošiljke kose iz te regije. Također, Zastupnički dom 22. rujna je usvojio Ujgurski zakon o prisilnom radu, koji na proizvođače stavlja teret odgovornost dokazivanja da prisilni rad nije prisutan u njihovim lancima opskrbe.

Wang Wenbin, glasnogovornik kineskog Ministarstva vanjskih poslova, rekao je da je Kina ogorčena i protivi se tom zakonu koji, prema njegovim tvrdnjama, zlonamjerno ocrnjuje stanje ljudskih prava u Xinjiangu.

Ured za informiranje autonomne regije Xinjiang Uyghur izrazio je "oštru osudu zbog barbarskog čina protiv privatnih poduzeća koja zapošljavaju lokalne etničke manjine i pomažu im izaći iz siromaštva".

Još u lipnju savezne vlasti u New Yorku zaplijenile su 13 tona tkanja i drugih dodataka za uljepšavanje za koje se sumnja da su izrađeni od ljudske kose uzete od osoba zatvorenih u kineskim logorima. U američkoj carini kazali su da tih 13 tona proizvoda za kosu vrijedi oko 800 tisuća američkih dolara.

SAD je zabranio nekolicini velikih kineskih tvrtki uvoz tona ljudske kose na američko tržište, zbog zabrinutosti da ona potječe od pripadnika etničkih manjina prisiljenih na brijanje glava u zloglasnim kineskim logorima – piše DailyMail.

Prema podacima istraživačke kompanije Mintel, industrija ljudske kose, koja je također poznata kao "crno zlato", u 2018. godini zaradila je više od 2,5 milijarde dolara za američko gospodarstvo. Velika većina proizvoda od kose dolazi iz Azije, uglavnom iz Kine, javlja CNN.

Otkriveno je da većina uvezene kineske kose dolazi iz daleke zapadne regije Xinjiang, gdje navodno etičke manjine tjeraju na prisilan rad. Kako izvještavaju aktivističke skupine, radi se o području gdje se od 2016. do danas u logorima nalazi dva milijuna Ujgura i pripadnika drugih etničkih manjina.

Bivši zatvorenici opisali su kako su u tim logorima trpjeli mučenja i zlostavljanja, uključujući puštanje struje kroz tijelo, nametljive medicinske preglede, prisilne sterilizacije, te - brijanje glave.

Američka carina krenula je plijeniti pošiljke kose iz te regije. Također, Zastupnički dom 22. rujna je usvojio Ujgurski zakon o prisilnom radu, koji na proizvođače stavlja teret odgovornost dokazivanja da prisilni rad nije prisutan u njihovim lancima opskrbe.

Wang Wenbin, glasnogovornik kineskog Ministarstva vanjskih poslova, rekao je da je Kina ogorčena i protivi se tom zakonu koji, prema njegovim tvrdnjama, zlonamjerno ocrnjuje stanje ljudskih prava u Xinjiangu.

Ured za informiranje autonomne regije Xinjiang Uyghur izrazio je "oštru osudu zbog barbarskog čina protiv privatnih poduzeća koja zapošljavaju lokalne etničke manjine i pomažu im izaći iz siromaštva".

Još u lipnju savezne vlasti u New Yorku zaplijenile su 13 tona tkanja i drugih dodataka za uljepšavanje za koje se sumnja da su izrađeni od ljudske kose uzete od osoba zatvorenih u kineskim logorima. U američkoj carini kazali su da tih 13 tona proizvoda za kosu vrijedi oko 800 tisuća američkih dolara.

SAD je zabranio nekolicini velikih kineskih tvrtki uvoz tona ljudske kose na američko tržište, zbog zabrinutosti da ona potječe od pripadnika etničkih manjina prisiljenih na brijanje glava u zloglasnim kineskim logorima – piše DailyMail.

Prema podacima istraživačke kompanije Mintel, industrija ljudske kose, koja je također poznata kao "crno zlato", u 2018. godini zaradila je više od 2,5 milijarde dolara za američko gospodarstvo. Velika većina proizvoda od kose dolazi iz Azije, uglavnom iz Kine, javlja CNN.
