Nakon Viktora Orbána u Mađarskoj, Austriji i Slovačkoj također prijeti da na vlast dođu proruski političari, piše portal Politico, a prenosi Jutarnji list. U Austriji je još od studenoga najpopularnija krajnje desna Slobodarska stranka (FPÖ) na čelu s Herbertom Kicklom, a u Slovačkoj u anketama uoči izbora u rujnu vodi proruski Smer-SD čiji je čelnik bivši premijer Robert Fico.

Ako pobijedi, Slovačka će prekinuti vojnu pomoć Ukrajini, obećao je Fico. Kickl, pak, najavljuje da će iskoristiti pravo veta Austrije u EU kako bi poništio "besmislene" sankcije protiv Rusije.

Popularnost Slobodarske stranke tumači se rastućom inflacijom i naglim porastom zahtjeva za azil, koji su se u godinu dana utrostručili. To potiče nezadovoljstvo trenutačnom vladajućom koalicijom Austrijske narodne stranke (ÖVP) i Zelenih. Glavnu oporbenu stranku, Socijaldemokrate, muče unutarnje borbe, pa Kicklova stranka ima najbolje šanse za preuzimanje vlasti, ocjenjuje Politico.

Europski dužnosnici upozoravaju da bi pobjede proruskih snaga u Slovačkoj i Austriji dale ruskom predsjedniku Vladimiru Putinu moćno oruđe protiv Ukrajine i potkopale napore EU. Bila bi to katastrofa, kaže dužnosnik Komisije za Politico. EU se već bori s Mađarskom gdje je premijer Viktor Orbán preuzeo kontrolu nad svim glavnim polugama moći, uključujući medije, i tako stvorio poluautoritarnu državu usred EU.

Austriju izbori čekaju tek na jesen iduće godine, ali stalne napetosti unutar vladajuće koalicije povećavaju šanse za prijevremene izbore. Austrijska narodna stranka (ÖVP) kancelara Karla Nehammera trenutačno zaostaje osam postotnih poena za FPÖ-om. No, pitanje je hoće li se ta popularnost odraziti i na izborni rezultat. Sam Kickl nije baš popularan, a podrška FPÖ-u i prije se pokazivala nestabilnom, pa mnogi najnoviji skok popularnosti tumače frustracijom Austrijanaca zbog nefunkcioniranja trenutačne vlade.

U Bruxellesu se mnogima diže kosa na glavi na pomisao da bi Kickl mogao doći na vlast. Već je bio ministar unutarnjih poslova u kratkotrajnoj vladi FPÖ-a s ÖVP-om u vrijeme bivšeg kancelara Sebastiana Kurza početkom 2017. Jedan od Kicklovih poteza bio je da centre za registraciju tražitelja azila preimenuje u "Centre za odlazak". Predsjednica Europskog parlamenta Roberta Metsola rekla je za austrijske novine da ima "ozbiljne sumnje" u Kicklovu podobnost za bilo koju ministarsku dužnost. Kickl je nedavno bio u Budimpešti gdje se susreo s Orbánom. Nije krio da mu je cilj Austriju pretvoriti u drugu Mađarsku, piše Politico, a Mađarsku je hvalio kao "uporište nacionalnog samoodređenja i otpora protiv globalističke intervencije iz Bruxellesa".

FPÖ ima duge veze s Rusijom. Kicklov prethodnik Heinz-Christian Strache potpisao je sporazum o partnerstvu s Putinovom strankom 2016. Kickl danas ponavlja da je taj sporazum istekao, no on i drugi članovi FPÖ-a ne skrivaju svoju naklonost prema Rusiji. Od početka rata u Ukrajini političari FPÖ-a predložili su na desetke proruskih rezolucija u austrijskom parlamentu i izdali brojna priopćenja za javnost, pozivajući na ukidanje sankcija Rusiji. No, glasove najviše dobivaju na antimigrantskim stavovima i "borbi za očuvanje nacionalnog identiteta". Tako se zalažu za subvencije za spašavanje starinskih gostionica po gradićima, ali samo ako služe tradicionalne i regionalne specijalitete. Ili traže da djeci na školskim igralištima bude obvezno govoriti njemački.

Austrijski mediji često ismijavaju takve ideje, no ima birača kojima se to sviđa. U siječnju je FPÖ osvojio drugo mjesto na pokrajinskim izborima u Donjoj Austriji, najvećoj pokrajini u zemlji, srušivši dugogodišnju apsolutnu većinu ÖVP-a. Tako je ÖVP morao s njima u koaliciju. Sličan scenarij odigrao se nekoliko tjedana poslije u pokrajini Salzburg gdje je FPÖ ušao u pokrajinsku vladu. No, na nacionalnoj razini Kickl inzistira da mu je cilj biti kancelar. FPÖ je dva puta u proteklih 25 godina ušao u vladu kao mlađi koalicijski partner ÖVP-a, što je oba puta završilo kao težak udarac za stranku zbog skandala i unutarnjih podjela, piše Jutarnji list.

Nakon Viktora Orbána u Mađarskoj, Austriji i Slovačkoj također prijeti da na vlast dođu proruski političari, piše portal Politico, a prenosi Jutarnji list. U Austriji je još od studenoga najpopularnija krajnje desna Slobodarska stranka (FPÖ) na čelu s Herbertom Kicklom, a u Slovačkoj u anketama uoči izbora u rujnu vodi proruski Smer-SD čiji je čelnik bivši premijer Robert Fico.

Ako pobijedi, Slovačka će prekinuti vojnu pomoć Ukrajini, obećao je Fico. Kickl, pak, najavljuje da će iskoristiti pravo veta Austrije u EU kako bi poništio "besmislene" sankcije protiv Rusije.

Popularnost Slobodarske stranke tumači se rastućom inflacijom i naglim porastom zahtjeva za azil, koji su se u godinu dana utrostručili. To potiče nezadovoljstvo trenutačnom vladajućom koalicijom Austrijske narodne stranke (ÖVP) i Zelenih. Glavnu oporbenu stranku, Socijaldemokrate, muče unutarnje borbe, pa Kicklova stranka ima najbolje šanse za preuzimanje vlasti, ocjenjuje Politico.

Europski dužnosnici upozoravaju da bi pobjede proruskih snaga u Slovačkoj i Austriji dale ruskom predsjedniku Vladimiru Putinu moćno oruđe protiv Ukrajine i potkopale napore EU. Bila bi to katastrofa, kaže dužnosnik Komisije za Politico. EU se već bori s Mađarskom gdje je premijer Viktor Orbán preuzeo kontrolu nad svim glavnim polugama moći, uključujući medije, i tako stvorio poluautoritarnu državu usred EU.

Austriju izbori čekaju tek na jesen iduće godine, ali stalne napetosti unutar vladajuće koalicije povećavaju šanse za prijevremene izbore. Austrijska narodna stranka (ÖVP) kancelara Karla Nehammera trenutačno zaostaje osam postotnih poena za FPÖ-om. No, pitanje je hoće li se ta popularnost odraziti i na izborni rezultat. Sam Kickl nije baš popularan, a podrška FPÖ-u i prije se pokazivala nestabilnom, pa mnogi najnoviji skok popularnosti tumače frustracijom Austrijanaca zbog nefunkcioniranja trenutačne vlade.

U Bruxellesu se mnogima diže kosa na glavi na pomisao da bi Kickl mogao doći na vlast. Već je bio ministar unutarnjih poslova u kratkotrajnoj vladi FPÖ-a s ÖVP-om u vrijeme bivšeg kancelara Sebastiana Kurza početkom 2017. Jedan od Kicklovih poteza bio je da centre za registraciju tražitelja azila preimenuje u "Centre za odlazak". Predsjednica Europskog parlamenta Roberta Metsola rekla je za austrijske novine da ima "ozbiljne sumnje" u Kicklovu podobnost za bilo koju ministarsku dužnost. Kickl je nedavno bio u Budimpešti gdje se susreo s Orbánom. Nije krio da mu je cilj Austriju pretvoriti u drugu Mađarsku, piše Politico, a Mađarsku je hvalio kao "uporište nacionalnog samoodređenja i otpora protiv globalističke intervencije iz Bruxellesa".

FPÖ ima duge veze s Rusijom. Kicklov prethodnik Heinz-Christian Strache potpisao je sporazum o partnerstvu s Putinovom strankom 2016. Kickl danas ponavlja da je taj sporazum istekao, no on i drugi članovi FPÖ-a ne skrivaju svoju naklonost prema Rusiji. Od početka rata u Ukrajini političari FPÖ-a predložili su na desetke proruskih rezolucija u austrijskom parlamentu i izdali brojna priopćenja za javnost, pozivajući na ukidanje sankcija Rusiji. No, glasove najviše dobivaju na antimigrantskim stavovima i "borbi za očuvanje nacionalnog identiteta". Tako se zalažu za subvencije za spašavanje starinskih gostionica po gradićima, ali samo ako služe tradicionalne i regionalne specijalitete. Ili traže da djeci na školskim igralištima bude obvezno govoriti njemački.

Austrijski mediji često ismijavaju takve ideje, no ima birača kojima se to sviđa. U siječnju je FPÖ osvojio drugo mjesto na pokrajinskim izborima u Donjoj Austriji, najvećoj pokrajini u zemlji, srušivši dugogodišnju apsolutnu većinu ÖVP-a. Tako je ÖVP morao s njima u koaliciju. Sličan scenarij odigrao se nekoliko tjedana poslije u pokrajini Salzburg gdje je FPÖ ušao u pokrajinsku vladu. No, na nacionalnoj razini Kickl inzistira da mu je cilj biti kancelar. FPÖ je dva puta u proteklih 25 godina ušao u vladu kao mlađi koalicijski partner ÖVP-a, što je oba puta završilo kao težak udarac za stranku zbog skandala i unutarnjih podjela, piše Jutarnji list.
