Vlasti na Kubi otkazale su tradicionalnu prvosvibanjsku paradu zbog - nestašice goriva koja trenutno vlada u toj zemlji.

Svake godine stotine tisuća ljudi se autobusima s cijelog otoka dovezu kako bi ispunili Havanski Trg revolucije na Dan međunarodnog praznika rada.

Ipak, ove godine će Kuba biti uskraćena za tu svečanost, što će biti prvi put od revolucije 1959. godine da su proslave otkazane iz ekonomskih razloga.

Posljednjih tjedana na benzinskim crpkama formirali su se dugi redovi, a vozači čekaju na red - danima!

Ranije ovog mjeseca, predsjednik Miguel Diaz-Canel rekao je da Kuba dobiva samo dvije trećine goriva koje joj je potrebno, dodajući da dobavljači "ne ispunjavaju ugovorne obaveze".

Dok Kuba ima pristup sirovoj nafti niske kvalitete, državi pod sankcijama SAD-a nedostaju postrojenja za preradu. Isporuke kvalitetnije sirove nafte iz Venezuele, najvećeg kubanskog dobavljača goriva, pale su za 50 posto posljednjih godina.

Analitičari kažu da Venezuela i sama doživljava ozbiljne probleme i da joj je sve teže subvencionirati svog socijalističkog saveznika.

Nestašice su doprinijele svakodnevnim pritiscima s kojima se Kubanci suočavaju. Prema španjolskim novinama El Pais, tipična mjesečna plaća je 150-200 dolara (120-160 funti), dok litra jestivog ulja stoji 30 dolara.

Svake godine stotine tisuća ljudi se autobusima s cijelog otoka dovezu kako bi ispunili Havanski Trg revolucije na Dan međunarodnog praznika rada.

Ipak, ove godine će Kuba biti uskraćena za tu svečanost, što će biti prvi put od revolucije 1959. godine da su proslave otkazane iz ekonomskih razloga.

Posljednjih tjedana na benzinskim crpkama formirali su se dugi redovi, a vozači čekaju na red - danima!

Ranije ovog mjeseca, predsjednik Miguel Diaz-Canel rekao je da Kuba dobiva samo dvije trećine goriva koje joj je potrebno, dodajući da dobavljači "ne ispunjavaju ugovorne obaveze".

Dok Kuba ima pristup sirovoj nafti niske kvalitete, državi pod sankcijama SAD-a nedostaju postrojenja za preradu. Isporuke kvalitetnije sirove nafte iz Venezuele, najvećeg kubanskog dobavljača goriva, pale su za 50 posto posljednjih godina.

Analitičari kažu da Venezuela i sama doživljava ozbiljne probleme i da joj je sve teže subvencionirati svog socijalističkog saveznika.

Nestašice su doprinijele svakodnevnim pritiscima s kojima se Kubanci suočavaju. Prema španjolskim novinama El Pais, tipična mjesečna plaća je 150-200 dolara (120-160 funti), dok litra jestivog ulja stoji 30 dolara.
