Vesna Vulović, stjuardesa JAT-a koja je stekla svjetsku slalavi nakon što je jedina preživjela pad zrakoplova s visine od 10 tisuća metara prije nekoliko je dana preminula u svom stanu u Beogradu, piše Jutarnji.hr. Imala je 66 godina.
Njezini susjedi iz zgrade za srpski su Blic otkrili kako je svjetski poznata stjuardesa (na slici ispred aviona koji je srušen) živjela vrlo povučeno, sama, u stanu s tri mačke. Redovito je komunicirala samo sa 70-godišnjom Silvijom Irković, koja joj je bila i najbliža prijateljica:
- U nedjelju me je zvala da mi kaže kako su se njezine mačke potukle. To je bio naš posljednji razgovor. Pokušala je razdvojiti mačke i one su joj tada nanijele ozbiljne ozljede nogu. Kako mi se idućih dana više nije javljala, pozvala sam njezinog brata koji živi u blizini Beograda. U petak su bravari morali provaliti u stan. Vesna je ležala na podu mrtva - drhtavim glasom ispričala je Silvija.
Dodaje kako su bivšu stjuardesu cijeli život pratile katastrofe. Živjela je teško, bila je teško bolesna, kretala se uz pomoć štaka i kolica, imala je malu mirovinu i veliki te preskupi stan za održavanje koji je u vrlo lošem stanju. Nije se voljela družiti s ljudima, znao ju je cijeli svijet, ali Vesna Vulović pravih prijatelja gotovo da i nije imala.
Zrakoplovna nesreća koja joj je obilježila život dogodila se 1972. godine kada je avion u kojem je bilo 28 putnika eksplodirao na relaciji Stockholm-Kopenhagen-Zagreb-Beograd. Avion je pao u tadašnjoj Čehoslovačkoj. Vesna je pad s 10.160 metara preživjela jer je bila vezana za svoje sjedište u zadnjem dijelu aviona koji je, nakon eksplozije, ostao spojen na toalete i pao na snijegom pokrivenu planinu.
Tada 22-godišnja stjuardesa nije bila ni predviđena za taj let, već je mijenjala kolegicu. Oporavila se od ozljeda, među kojima su bile fraktura lubanje, prijelomi nogu i privremena paraliza.
Kratko je bila i paralizirana od struka na dolje, no ponovno je prohodala nakon niza operacija. Poslije nesreće, nastavila je raditi za JAT, no više nije bila stjuardesa, već je dobila radno mjesto na šalteru.
Zbog životne priče uvrštena je i u Guinnessovu knjigu rekorda, a tijekom sedamdesetih godina bila je i nacionalni heroj u bivšoj državi. Točan razlog pada aviona nikad nije točno objašnjen, iako se spominjala eksplozija bombe, kao i da ga je pogreškom pogodila češka protuzračna obrana, piše Jutarnji.

Vesna Vulović, stjuardesa JAT-a koja je stekla svjetsku slalavi nakon što je jedina preživjela pad zrakoplova s visine od 10 tisuća metara prije nekoliko je dana preminula u svom stanu u Beogradu, piše Jutarnji.hr. Imala je 66 godina.
Njezini susjedi iz zgrade za srpski su Blic otkrili kako je svjetski poznata stjuardesa (na slici ispred aviona koji je srušen) živjela vrlo povučeno, sama, u stanu s tri mačke. Redovito je komunicirala samo sa 70-godišnjom Silvijom Irković, koja joj je bila i najbliža prijateljica:
- U nedjelju me je zvala da mi kaže kako su se njezine mačke potukle. To je bio naš posljednji razgovor. Pokušala je razdvojiti mačke i one su joj tada nanijele ozbiljne ozljede nogu. Kako mi se idućih dana više nije javljala, pozvala sam njezinog brata koji živi u blizini Beograda. U petak su bravari morali provaliti u stan. Vesna je ležala na podu mrtva - drhtavim glasom ispričala je Silvija.
Dodaje kako su bivšu stjuardesu cijeli život pratile katastrofe. Živjela je teško, bila je teško bolesna, kretala se uz pomoć štaka i kolica, imala je malu mirovinu i veliki te preskupi stan za održavanje koji je u vrlo lošem stanju. Nije se voljela družiti s ljudima, znao ju je cijeli svijet, ali Vesna Vulović pravih prijatelja gotovo da i nije imala.
Zrakoplovna nesreća koja joj je obilježila život dogodila se 1972. godine kada je avion u kojem je bilo 28 putnika eksplodirao na relaciji Stockholm-Kopenhagen-Zagreb-Beograd. Avion je pao u tadašnjoj Čehoslovačkoj. Vesna je pad s 10.160 metara preživjela jer je bila vezana za svoje sjedište u zadnjem dijelu aviona koji je, nakon eksplozije, ostao spojen na toalete i pao na snijegom pokrivenu planinu.
Tada 22-godišnja stjuardesa nije bila ni predviđena za taj let, već je mijenjala kolegicu. Oporavila se od ozljeda, među kojima su bile fraktura lubanje, prijelomi nogu i privremena paraliza.
Kratko je bila i paralizirana od struka na dolje, no ponovno je prohodala nakon niza operacija. Poslije nesreće, nastavila je raditi za JAT, no više nije bila stjuardesa, već je dobila radno mjesto na šalteru.
Zbog životne priče uvrštena je i u Guinnessovu knjigu rekorda, a tijekom sedamdesetih godina bila je i nacionalni heroj u bivšoj državi. Točan razlog pada aviona nikad nije točno objašnjen, iako se spominjala eksplozija bombe, kao i da ga je pogreškom pogodila češka protuzračna obrana, piše Jutarnji.
