Sezona uragana u Atlantiku počinje početkom lipnja, a prognostičari pomno prate porast temperature oceana, i to ne samo u Atlantiku - piše N1.
Posebno su važne dvije lokacije kada su u pitanju atalnski uragani – sjevernoatlantski bazen, gdje se uragani rađaju i jačaju, i istočno-središnji tropski Tihi ocean, gdje nastaje pakleni fenomen El Nino.
Ove godine to dvoje je u sukobu i vjerojatno je da će zbog toga doći do suprotnih učinaka na ključne uvjete koji mogu izazvati ili prekinuti sezonu uragana u Atlantiku. Rezultat bi mogao biti dobra vijest za karipsku i atlantsku obalu: gotovo prosječna sezona uragana. No, prognostičari upozoravaju da ta prognoza uragana ovisi o širenju El Nina, piše IFL Science.
Kada je tropski istočni i središnji Pacifik neobično topao, može nastati El Nino. U tom slučaju, mijenja se cirkulacija atmosfere što pokreće telekonekciju utječući na vjetrove istok-zapad u višoj atmosferi diljem tropskih krajeva, što u konačnici rezultira jačim vertikalnim smicanjem vjetra u atlantskom bazenu. To u konačnici može dovesti do blažih uragana, a upravo to ovog ljeta očekuju i prognostičari.
Kakvo nas ljeto očekuje?
Ekstremne vremenske promjene mogu utjecati i na naše odluke o tome gdje ćemo ljetovati.
Kako piše Euronews, svijet bi mogao doživjeti nove toplinske rekorde upravo zahvaljujući toplinskom fenomenu El Nino. Uzrokovan time što su vode u Tihom oceanu postale mnogo toplije nego inače, ovaj događaj znači da ćemo se vjerojatno suočiti s intenzivnijim toplinskim valovima, produljenim vrućim godišnjim dobima i jačim olujama.
Već se predviđa da će ova godina biti toplija od 2022. i peta ili šesta najtoplija godina u povijesti.
Prema Službi za klimatske promjene Copernicus, Španjolska, Francuska i Italija bi između lipnja i kolovoza ovog ljeta mogle iskusiti temperature više od 60 posto od prosjeka. Predviđa se da će južna i zapadna Europa doživjeti najveće vrućine.
Intenzivno vrijeme na Mediteranu
No, sezonska prognoza predviđa i iznadprosječnu količinu oborina diljem južne Europe tijekom cijelog ljeta. Međutim, malo je vjerojatno da će ovi pljuskovi imati veliki utjecaj na dugotrajne uvjete suše u ovim regijama.
To bi moglo značiti nepredvidljivije i intenzivnije vrijeme na Mediteranu tijekom ljetne sezone odmora.
Iznimno visoke temperature također povećavaju rizik od šumskih požara, a francuske vlasti upozoravaju da sezona počinje puno ranije nego inače. A s obzirom na to da kiša vjerojatno neće ublažiti uvjete suše, oni koji odluče provesti godišnji odmor u južnoj Europi, mogli bi se suočiti s redukcijom vode, piše Euronews.
Mogu li neke popularne destinacije postati prevruće za turiste?
Iako sunce i vrućina često privlače turiste na određena odredišta, putnici su sve svjesniji činjenice da prevelika vrućina može ometati odmor i uživanje.
Istraživanje koje je prošle godine proveo britanski pružatelj putnih osiguranja InsureandGo pokazalo je da 71 posto ljudi smatra da će dijelovi Europe biti prevrući za posjet tijekom ljeta do 2027. godine. Odredišta koja su ih najviše brinula su Španjolska, Grčka, Turska i Cipar.
Do 2100. godine popularna odredišta za odmor diljem Europe mogla bi se suočiti s rizikom od još neviđenih rekordnih toplinskih valova, pokazala je nedavna studija koju je provelo britansko Sveučilište u Bristolu. Drugo izvješće iz travnja upozorilo je da bi se Pariz do 2050. mogao suočiti s vrućim ljetnim temperaturama većim od 50°C.
Europska komisija za putovanja (ETC) već je utvrdila da povoljni vremenski uvjeti imaju podjednak utjecaj na odabir odredišta. ETC kaže da to pokazuje povećanu svijest među putnicima o ograničenjima koja nameću ekstremni vremenski uvjeti - piše N1.

Sezona uragana u Atlantiku počinje početkom lipnja, a prognostičari pomno prate porast temperature oceana, i to ne samo u Atlantiku - piše N1.
Posebno su važne dvije lokacije kada su u pitanju atalnski uragani – sjevernoatlantski bazen, gdje se uragani rađaju i jačaju, i istočno-središnji tropski Tihi ocean, gdje nastaje pakleni fenomen El Nino.
Ove godine to dvoje je u sukobu i vjerojatno je da će zbog toga doći do suprotnih učinaka na ključne uvjete koji mogu izazvati ili prekinuti sezonu uragana u Atlantiku. Rezultat bi mogao biti dobra vijest za karipsku i atlantsku obalu: gotovo prosječna sezona uragana. No, prognostičari upozoravaju da ta prognoza uragana ovisi o širenju El Nina, piše IFL Science.
Kada je tropski istočni i središnji Pacifik neobično topao, može nastati El Nino. U tom slučaju, mijenja se cirkulacija atmosfere što pokreće telekonekciju utječući na vjetrove istok-zapad u višoj atmosferi diljem tropskih krajeva, što u konačnici rezultira jačim vertikalnim smicanjem vjetra u atlantskom bazenu. To u konačnici može dovesti do blažih uragana, a upravo to ovog ljeta očekuju i prognostičari.
Kakvo nas ljeto očekuje?
Ekstremne vremenske promjene mogu utjecati i na naše odluke o tome gdje ćemo ljetovati.
Kako piše Euronews, svijet bi mogao doživjeti nove toplinske rekorde upravo zahvaljujući toplinskom fenomenu El Nino. Uzrokovan time što su vode u Tihom oceanu postale mnogo toplije nego inače, ovaj događaj znači da ćemo se vjerojatno suočiti s intenzivnijim toplinskim valovima, produljenim vrućim godišnjim dobima i jačim olujama.
Već se predviđa da će ova godina biti toplija od 2022. i peta ili šesta najtoplija godina u povijesti.
Prema Službi za klimatske promjene Copernicus, Španjolska, Francuska i Italija bi između lipnja i kolovoza ovog ljeta mogle iskusiti temperature više od 60 posto od prosjeka. Predviđa se da će južna i zapadna Europa doživjeti najveće vrućine.
Intenzivno vrijeme na Mediteranu
No, sezonska prognoza predviđa i iznadprosječnu količinu oborina diljem južne Europe tijekom cijelog ljeta. Međutim, malo je vjerojatno da će ovi pljuskovi imati veliki utjecaj na dugotrajne uvjete suše u ovim regijama.
To bi moglo značiti nepredvidljivije i intenzivnije vrijeme na Mediteranu tijekom ljetne sezone odmora.
Iznimno visoke temperature također povećavaju rizik od šumskih požara, a francuske vlasti upozoravaju da sezona počinje puno ranije nego inače. A s obzirom na to da kiša vjerojatno neće ublažiti uvjete suše, oni koji odluče provesti godišnji odmor u južnoj Europi, mogli bi se suočiti s redukcijom vode, piše Euronews.
Mogu li neke popularne destinacije postati prevruće za turiste?
Iako sunce i vrućina često privlače turiste na određena odredišta, putnici su sve svjesniji činjenice da prevelika vrućina može ometati odmor i uživanje.
Istraživanje koje je prošle godine proveo britanski pružatelj putnih osiguranja InsureandGo pokazalo je da 71 posto ljudi smatra da će dijelovi Europe biti prevrući za posjet tijekom ljeta do 2027. godine. Odredišta koja su ih najviše brinula su Španjolska, Grčka, Turska i Cipar.
Do 2100. godine popularna odredišta za odmor diljem Europe mogla bi se suočiti s rizikom od još neviđenih rekordnih toplinskih valova, pokazala je nedavna studija koju je provelo britansko Sveučilište u Bristolu. Drugo izvješće iz travnja upozorilo je da bi se Pariz do 2050. mogao suočiti s vrućim ljetnim temperaturama većim od 50°C.
Europska komisija za putovanja (ETC) već je utvrdila da povoljni vremenski uvjeti imaju podjednak utjecaj na odabir odredišta. ETC kaže da to pokazuje povećanu svijest među putnicima o ograničenjima koja nameću ekstremni vremenski uvjeti - piše N1.
