Ukrajinske klizne bombe američke izrade napokon su u akciji, i to u kritičnom trenutku, dok se ukrajinske brigade bore s nestašicom artiljerije, piše Forbes. 

Ove bombe GLSDB (eng. Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb) mogle bi nadomjestiti nestašicu 155-milimetarskih granata, ali samo donekle. To streljivo nije artiljerijsko, i bilo bi rasipno pretvarati se da jest.

Prvi dokaz upotrebe ovih bombi pojavio se na internetu u srijedu. Ruske trupe objavile su video raketnih fragmenata među kojima se jasno ističe prepoznatljivi zadnji dio bombe GLSDB.

Rusi u videu tvrde kako su ti fragmenti ostaci napada u blizini Kreminne na istoku Ukrajine, koji se dogodio u utorak. Moguće je da su meta napada bili ruski raketni bacači istočno od Žitlivke. Ukrajinski dron iz zraka je ‘promatrao’ dramatičnu eksploziju bacača.

Ako su u ovom napadu zaista iskorištene te bombe, to je bio neobičan izbor. Žitlivka se nalazi tek nekoliko kilometara od linije fronte blizu Kreminne, zbog čega se postavlja pitanje: zašto upotrijebiti bombu dometa od 145 kilometara za napad na metu koja je toliko blizu fronte?

Moguće je da su postojale neke olakotne okolnosti. Možda je bacač bio na pravom mjestu u pravo vrijeme za brzinski napad na ruske bacače. Možda za drugo oružje nije bilo dovoljno artiljerije.

Dok Republikanci u američkom Kongresu blokiraju slanje američke pomoći, Ukrajinci ispaljuju samo nekoliko tisuća granata dnevno, možda petinu onoga što ispaljuju Rusi.

Kijev ima sreće da je administracija američkog predsjednika Bidena platila tvrtci Boeing i njenom partneru, švedskom Saabu, da razvije te bombe za Ukrajinu još prije godinu dana, prije nego što su Republikanci odlučili iskoristiti svoju malenu većinu u američkom Zastupničkom domu.

Ugovor je vrijedio 33 milijuna dolara. Jedna takva bomba, pričvršćena na motor M26, stoji samo 40.000 dolara.

Ukrajina bi mogla dobiti na stotine kliznih bombi, pod pretpostavkom da Boeing i Saab nisu potrošili većinu od tih 33 milijuna dolara na razvoj.

Streljivo se navodno lansira iz posebnih spremnika koje može vući bilo koji kamion, no iz Saaba tvrde kako bi M270 ili mobilni bacač High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System također mogao biti kompatibilan s bombama. Ukrajina ima na desetke i jednih i drugih.

Pet ili šest stotina bombi ne može zamijeniti pet ili šest tisuća 155-milimetarskih granata koje bi Ukrajinci sigurno rado svakodnevno ispaljivali na Ruse u slučaju adekvatne opskrbe od strane zemalja saveznica. U ovom trenutku moguće je kako Ukrajinci ispaljuju tek 2.000 granata dnevno.

Većina 155-milimetarske artiljerije nije navođena, a domet joj je tek nekih 24 kilometra s eksplozivom težine 11 kilograma. Klizne bombe navođene GPS-om imaju čak šest puta veći domet i osam puta veću količinu eksploziva.

Ipak, cijevna artiljerija mogla bi postizati najveće uspjehe u gađanju neprijateljskih snaga u satima prije punog napada, dok ju vojska gomila na otvorenom prostoru iza fronte i s njima kreće u napad. Napad s nekoliko desetaka granata može uništiti vozila i eliminirati pješake na udaljenosti od nekoliko tisuća četvornih metara.

Klizne bombe, s druge strane, najuspješnije bi mogle biti u napadima na točno određene mete daleko iza linija fronte: skladišta opreme, vlakove sa streljivom, zapovjedne bunkere, protuzračne radare. Takvih meta nema mnogo, a to ne daje pravu sliku njihove važnost iza Ruse.

Ukratko, artiljerija je “svakodnevni ubojica” borbenih snaga na širokim područjima blizu fronte. Klizne bombe i drugo slično oružje koristi se za napade na temeljnu infrastrukturu mehaničkog ratovanja, zapovjedne i opskrbne mreže koje pružaju podršku i usmjeravaju trupe.

Možda Ukrajinci zaista i jesu lansirali nekoliko tih bombi na ruske raketne bacače tek nekoliko kilometara od fronte, ali ne treba očekivati da će takvih napada biti mnogo, jednostavno zato jer to oružje za njih nije namijenjeno.

Što sve ovo znači? Da isporuka kliznih bombi zapravo ne rješava sve gori problem artiljerije s kojim se Ukrajina suočava, zaključuje Forbes.

Ukrajinske klizne bombe američke izrade napokon su u akciji, i to u kritičnom trenutku, dok se ukrajinske brigade bore s nestašicom artiljerije, piše Forbes. 

Ove bombe GLSDB (eng. Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb) mogle bi nadomjestiti nestašicu 155-milimetarskih granata, ali samo donekle. To streljivo nije artiljerijsko, i bilo bi rasipno pretvarati se da jest.

Prvi dokaz upotrebe ovih bombi pojavio se na internetu u srijedu. Ruske trupe objavile su video raketnih fragmenata među kojima se jasno ističe prepoznatljivi zadnji dio bombe GLSDB.

Rusi u videu tvrde kako su ti fragmenti ostaci napada u blizini Kreminne na istoku Ukrajine, koji se dogodio u utorak. Moguće je da su meta napada bili ruski raketni bacači istočno od Žitlivke. Ukrajinski dron iz zraka je ‘promatrao’ dramatičnu eksploziju bacača.

Ako su u ovom napadu zaista iskorištene te bombe, to je bio neobičan izbor. Žitlivka se nalazi tek nekoliko kilometara od linije fronte blizu Kreminne, zbog čega se postavlja pitanje: zašto upotrijebiti bombu dometa od 145 kilometara za napad na metu koja je toliko blizu fronte?

Moguće je da su postojale neke olakotne okolnosti. Možda je bacač bio na pravom mjestu u pravo vrijeme za brzinski napad na ruske bacače. Možda za drugo oružje nije bilo dovoljno artiljerije.

Dok Republikanci u američkom Kongresu blokiraju slanje američke pomoći, Ukrajinci ispaljuju samo nekoliko tisuća granata dnevno, možda petinu onoga što ispaljuju Rusi.

Kijev ima sreće da je administracija američkog predsjednika Bidena platila tvrtci Boeing i njenom partneru, švedskom Saabu, da razvije te bombe za Ukrajinu još prije godinu dana, prije nego što su Republikanci odlučili iskoristiti svoju malenu većinu u američkom Zastupničkom domu.

Ugovor je vrijedio 33 milijuna dolara. Jedna takva bomba, pričvršćena na motor M26, stoji samo 40.000 dolara.

Ukrajina bi mogla dobiti na stotine kliznih bombi, pod pretpostavkom da Boeing i Saab nisu potrošili većinu od tih 33 milijuna dolara na razvoj.

Streljivo se navodno lansira iz posebnih spremnika koje može vući bilo koji kamion, no iz Saaba tvrde kako bi M270 ili mobilni bacač High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System također mogao biti kompatibilan s bombama. Ukrajina ima na desetke i jednih i drugih.

Pet ili šest stotina bombi ne može zamijeniti pet ili šest tisuća 155-milimetarskih granata koje bi Ukrajinci sigurno rado svakodnevno ispaljivali na Ruse u slučaju adekvatne opskrbe od strane zemalja saveznica. U ovom trenutku moguće je kako Ukrajinci ispaljuju tek 2.000 granata dnevno.

Većina 155-milimetarske artiljerije nije navođena, a domet joj je tek nekih 24 kilometra s eksplozivom težine 11 kilograma. Klizne bombe navođene GPS-om imaju čak šest puta veći domet i osam puta veću količinu eksploziva.

Ipak, cijevna artiljerija mogla bi postizati najveće uspjehe u gađanju neprijateljskih snaga u satima prije punog napada, dok ju vojska gomila na otvorenom prostoru iza fronte i s njima kreće u napad. Napad s nekoliko desetaka granata može uništiti vozila i eliminirati pješake na udaljenosti od nekoliko tisuća četvornih metara.

Klizne bombe, s druge strane, najuspješnije bi mogle biti u napadima na točno određene mete daleko iza linija fronte: skladišta opreme, vlakove sa streljivom, zapovjedne bunkere, protuzračne radare. Takvih meta nema mnogo, a to ne daje pravu sliku njihove važnost iza Ruse.

Ukratko, artiljerija je “svakodnevni ubojica” borbenih snaga na širokim područjima blizu fronte. Klizne bombe i drugo slično oružje koristi se za napade na temeljnu infrastrukturu mehaničkog ratovanja, zapovjedne i opskrbne mreže koje pružaju podršku i usmjeravaju trupe.

Možda Ukrajinci zaista i jesu lansirali nekoliko tih bombi na ruske raketne bacače tek nekoliko kilometara od fronte, ali ne treba očekivati da će takvih napada biti mnogo, jednostavno zato jer to oružje za njih nije namijenjeno.

Što sve ovo znači? Da isporuka kliznih bombi zapravo ne rješava sve gori problem artiljerije s kojim se Ukrajina suočava, zaključuje Forbes.

Ovo su nove klizne bombe koje Ukrajinci ispaljuju na Ruse: jedna stvar oko tog izbora posebno čudi, mnogi su iznenađeni

Ukrajinske klizne bombe američke izrade napokon su u akciji, i to u kritičnom trenutku, dok se ukrajinske brigade bore s nestašicom artiljerije, piše Forbes. 

Ove bombe GLSDB (eng. Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb) mogle bi nadomjestiti nestašicu 155-milimetarskih granata, ali samo donekle. To streljivo nije artiljerijsko, i bilo bi rasipno pretvarati se da jest.

Prvi dokaz upotrebe ovih bombi pojavio se na internetu u srijedu. Ruske trupe objavile su video raketnih fragmenata među kojima se jasno ističe prepoznatljivi zadnji dio bombe GLSDB.
