Dva ugovorna zaposlenika State Departmenta su otpuštena, a treći je disciplinski kažnjen zbog neovlaštenog otvaranja dosijea za putovnicu demokratskog predsjedničkog kandidata Baracka Obame, izjavio je u četvrtak visoki dužnosnik američke administracije, prenosi ABC News.

State Department istražuje postoje li politički ili drugi motivi u ovom slučaju.

Glasnogovornik State Departmenta Sean McCormack rekao je kako se sada čini da ništa osim "nerazborite znatiželje" nije bilo uključeno u tri zasebna slučaja upada u privatne osobne podatke senatora iz Illinoisa.

Nije jasno da li su zaposlenici vidjeli bilo što drugo osim osnovnih osobnih podataka kao što su ime, državljanstvo, dob i mjesto rođenja koji se traže u obrascu za putovnicu.

Upadi su se dogodili 9. siječnja, 21. veljače i 14. ožujka, a otkriveni su pri internim kompjutorskim provjerama u State Departmentu, rekao je McCormack.

Državni podtajnik Patrick Kennedy kazao je da su određeni podaci, posebno oni vezani uz ljude visokog profila, kompjutorski posebno označeni, što omogućuje otkrivanje osoba koje neovlašteno pokušavaju pregledavati te podatke.

State Department neće objaviti imena onih koji su otpušteni ili kažnjeni, kao ni imena dviju tvrki za koje su radili, a glavni inspektor ministarstva otvorio je istragu, rekao je McCormack.

Glasnogovornik Obamine predsjedničke kampanje Bill Burton pozvao je na provođenje cjelovite istrage.

Dva ugovorna zaposlenika State Departmenta su otpuštena, a treći je disciplinski kažnjen zbog neovlaštenog otvaranja dosijea za putovnicu demokratskog predsjedničkog kandidata Baracka Obame, izjavio je u četvrtak visoki dužnosnik američke administracije, prenosi ABC News.

State Department istražuje postoje li politički ili drugi motivi u ovom slučaju.

Glasnogovornik State Departmenta Sean McCormack rekao je kako se sada čini da ništa osim "nerazborite znatiželje" nije bilo uključeno u tri zasebna slučaja upada u privatne osobne podatke senatora iz Illinoisa.

Nije jasno da li su zaposlenici vidjeli bilo što drugo osim osnovnih osobnih podataka kao što su ime, državljanstvo, dob i mjesto rođenja koji se traže u obrascu za putovnicu.

Upadi su se dogodili 9. siječnja, 21. veljače i 14. ožujka, a otkriveni su pri internim kompjutorskim provjerama u State Departmentu, rekao je McCormack.

Državni podtajnik Patrick Kennedy kazao je da su određeni podaci, posebno oni vezani uz ljude visokog profila, kompjutorski posebno označeni, što omogućuje otkrivanje osoba koje neovlašteno pokušavaju pregledavati te podatke.

State Department neće objaviti imena onih koji su otpušteni ili kažnjeni, kao ni imena dviju tvrki za koje su radili, a glavni inspektor ministarstva otvorio je istragu, rekao je McCormack.

Glasnogovornik Obamine predsjedničke kampanje Bill Burton pozvao je na provođenje cjelovite istrage.
