Znanstvenici kažu da su pronašli staru verziju biblijskog poglavlja koje je bilo skriveno ispod dijela teksta više od 1500 godina, piše Business Insider.

Grigory Kessel, povjesničar s Austrijske akademije znanosti, najavio je otkriće ranije ove godine u članku u New Testament Studies, recenziranom akademskom časopisu koji izdaje Cambridge University Press.

Kessel je rekao da je upotrijebio ultraljubičastu fotografiju kako bi vidio raniji tekst ispod tri sloja riječi ispisanih na palimpsestu, drevnom rukopisu koji su ljudi pisali preko drugih riječi, ali su često ostavljali tragove izvornog zapisa iza sebe.

Palimpsesti su se koristili u antičko doba zbog oskudice pergamenta. Riječi bi se ponavljale na materijalu sve dok nekoliko slojeva ne bi prekrilo skrivene riječi ispod.

Kessel je u priopćenju za javnost rekao da je tekst proširena, dosad nepoznata verzija 12. poglavlja Matejevog evanđelja koja je izvorno bila dio starosirijskog prijevoda Biblije prije nekih 1500 godina. Rekao je da je do otkrića došao na rukopisu koji se čuva u Vatikanskoj knjižnici.

Rukopis nudi ‘jedinstven pristup‘ istraživačima za razumijevanje najranijih faza tekstualne evolucije Biblije, prema priopćenju za javnost, i pokazuje neke razlike u odnosu na moderne prijevode teksta.

Na primjer, izvorna grčka verzija Mateja 12:1 — koja se danas najčešće koristi — kaže: "U ono vrijeme Isus je u subotu prolazio žitnim poljima, a njegovi su učenici ogladnjeli i počeli brati klasje i jesti."

Međutim, novootkriveni sirijski prijevod malo je drugačiji. U njemu piše: "počeli su brati klasje, trljati ga u rukama i jesti.", piše Business Insider.

Znanstvenici kažu da su pronašli staru verziju biblijskog poglavlja koje je bilo skriveno ispod dijela teksta više od 1500 godina, piše Business Insider.

Grigory Kessel, povjesničar s Austrijske akademije znanosti, najavio je otkriće ranije ove godine u članku u New Testament Studies, recenziranom akademskom časopisu koji izdaje Cambridge University Press.

Kessel je rekao da je upotrijebio ultraljubičastu fotografiju kako bi vidio raniji tekst ispod tri sloja riječi ispisanih na palimpsestu, drevnom rukopisu koji su ljudi pisali preko drugih riječi, ali su često ostavljali tragove izvornog zapisa iza sebe.

Palimpsesti su se koristili u antičko doba zbog oskudice pergamenta. Riječi bi se ponavljale na materijalu sve dok nekoliko slojeva ne bi prekrilo skrivene riječi ispod.

Kessel je u priopćenju za javnost rekao da je tekst proširena, dosad nepoznata verzija 12. poglavlja Matejevog evanđelja koja je izvorno bila dio starosirijskog prijevoda Biblije prije nekih 1500 godina. Rekao je da je do otkrića došao na rukopisu koji se čuva u Vatikanskoj knjižnici.

Rukopis nudi ‘jedinstven pristup‘ istraživačima za razumijevanje najranijih faza tekstualne evolucije Biblije, prema priopćenju za javnost, i pokazuje neke razlike u odnosu na moderne prijevode teksta.

Na primjer, izvorna grčka verzija Mateja 12:1 — koja se danas najčešće koristi — kaže: "U ono vrijeme Isus je u subotu prolazio žitnim poljima, a njegovi su učenici ogladnjeli i počeli brati klasje i jesti."

Međutim, novootkriveni sirijski prijevod malo je drugačiji. U njemu piše: "počeli su brati klasje, trljati ga u rukama i jesti.", piše Business Insider.

Otkrivena stara verzija biblijskog poglavlja: ‘Razlike su jasne, bilo je skriveno 1500 godina‘

Znanstvenici kažu da su pronašli staru verziju biblijskog poglavlja koje je bilo skriveno ispod dijela teksta više od 1500 godina, piše Business Insider.

Grigory Kessel, povjesničar s Austrijske akademije znanosti, najavio je otkriće ranije ove godine u članku u New Testament Studies, recenziranom akademskom časopisu koji izdaje Cambridge University Press.

Kessel je rekao da je upotrijebio ultraljubičastu fotografiju kako bi vidio raniji tekst ispod tri sloja riječi ispisanih na palimpsestu, drevnom rukopisu koji su ljudi pisali preko drugih riječi, ali su često ostavljali tragove izvornog zapisa iza sebe.

Palimpsesti su se koristili u antičko doba zbog oskudice pergamenta. Riječi bi se ponavljale na materijalu sve dok nekoliko slojeva ne bi prekrilo skrivene riječi ispod.

Kessel je u priopćenju za javnost rekao da je tekst proširena, dosad nepoznata verzija 12. poglavlja Matejevog evanđelja koja je izvorno bila dio starosirijskog prijevoda Biblije prije nekih 1500 godina. Rekao je da je do otkrića došao na rukopisu koji se čuva u Vatikanskoj knjižnici.

Rukopis nudi ‘jedinstven pristup‘ istraživačima za razumijevanje najranijih faza tekstualne evolucije Biblije, prema priopćenju za javnost, i pokazuje neke razlike u odnosu na moderne prijevode teksta.

Na primjer, izvorna grčka verzija Mateja 12:1 — koja se danas najčešće koristi — kaže: "U ono vrijeme Isus je u subotu prolazio žitnim poljima, a njegovi su učenici ogladnjeli i počeli brati klasje i jesti."

Međutim, novootkriveni sirijski prijevod malo je drugačiji. U njemu piše: "počeli su brati klasje, trljati ga u rukama i jesti.", piše Business Insider.
