Rastuća inflacija je povećala troškove života diljem zemaljske kugle, a pritom je nagore prošao izraelski Tel Aviv kojeg je najnovija ljestvica Economist Intelligence Unita proglasila najskupljim gradom na svijetu za život. Ovaj mediteranski grad se tako popeo za pet stepenica i po prvi put osvojio prvo mjesto ove neslavne utrke. 

Svjetski indeks troškova života definiran je međugradskom usporedbom cijena denominiranim u američkim dolarima za robu i usluge, pritom uspoređujući više od 200 svakodnevnih proizvoda i usluga. U studiju su bila uključena 173 grada. Prema istraživanju EIU-a, cijene roba i usluga u prosjeku su porasle za gotovo 3,5 posto u odnosu na 2020, što je najviša stopa inflacije u posljednjih pet godina. Doduše, treba imati na umu da su ovi podaci prikupljeni u kolovozu i rujnu, kada je inflacija bila znatno niža nego sada.

Tel Aviv je preuzeo vodeću poziciju dijelom zbog snage nacionalne valute, šekela, u odnosu na dolar, ali i zbog povećanja cijena prijevoza i namirnica. Zgodno je podsjetiti se kako je splitski gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak istaknuo upravo ovaj grad kao svoju viziju idealnog mjesta za život. "Tel Aviv je grad kakav bih ja htio da bude Split: grad turizma, a pored toga je moderni dio grada s najviše start up kompanija. Ako napravimo grad koji je ugodan za življenje, tada će ti ljudi imati dovoljna primanja da mogu zaraditi za svoj stan, ali morate razvijati grad", svojevremeno je poručio liberal Puljak.

Drugo mjesto dijele prošlogodišnji "pobjednik" Pariz i Singapur, a slijede ih Zurich i Hong Kong, koji su također doživjeli pad. New York je bio šesti, a Ženeva sedma. Prvih deset su zaokružili Kopenhagen na osmom, Los Angeles na devetom i Osaka na finalnoj poziciji.

EIU je kao gradove najprikladnije za život istaknuo Osaku, Ženevu i Zürich, što znači da je tamo, unatoč zastrašujućim troškovima, i sami standard jednako šokantno visok. Svakako, ovaj popis predstavlja svojevrsno upozorenje turistima, odnosno svima koji posjećuju te gradove, da se moraju pripremiti na 'odriješivanje kese' u tamošnjim restoranima, muzejima, kazalištima, i svim drugim stvarima koje su obvezne pri posjeti nekome od navedenih gradova. Nažalost, hrvatski gradovi nisu uvršteni u ovu analizu. 

Društvena ograničenja zbog pandemije koronavirusa "poremetila su opskrbu robom, što je dovelo do nestašica i viših cijena", rekla je Upasana Dutt, voditeljica odjela za svjetske troškove života u The EIU. "Jasno možemo vidjeti učinak u ovogodišnjem indeksu, pri čemu je rast cijena benzina posebno snažan", ustvrdila je. Prosječna inflacija ne uključuje četiri grada s iznimno visokim stopama: Caracas, Damask, Buenos Aires i Teheran.

Donji dio ljestvice otkriva, naravno, najjeftinije gradove među istraženima. U ovaj izračun nije uzeto u obzir jesu li ta područja trenutno zahvaćena ratovima i drugim nedaćama, što čini Damask kao logičnog kandidata za dno ove ljestvice. Poviše njega je još jedna metropola u koju je SAD "svrgavanjem diktatora donio demokraciju, mir i prosperitet", a riječ je o libijskom Tripoliju. Treći je uzbekistanski Taškent, a četvrto i peto mjesto pripada Tunisu i Almatiju iz Kazahstana. Neke bi moglo iznenaditi što se Buenos Aires nalazi na osmoj poziciji najjeftinijih gradova, ali u tu stavku je prste umješao argentinski dugogodišnji problem hiperinflacije. Također, Teheran se popeo sa 79. na 29. mjesto ljestvice najjeftinijih jer su tamo američke sankcije povisile cijene i uzrokovale nestašice.

Rastuća inflacija je povećala troškove života diljem zemaljske kugle, a pritom je nagore prošao izraelski Tel Aviv kojeg je najnovija ljestvica Economist Intelligence Unita proglasila najskupljim gradom na svijetu za život. Ovaj mediteranski grad se tako popeo za pet stepenica i po prvi put osvojio prvo mjesto ove neslavne utrke. 

Svjetski indeks troškova života definiran je međugradskom usporedbom cijena denominiranim u američkim dolarima za robu i usluge, pritom uspoređujući više od 200 svakodnevnih proizvoda i usluga. U studiju su bila uključena 173 grada. Prema istraživanju EIU-a, cijene roba i usluga u prosjeku su porasle za gotovo 3,5 posto u odnosu na 2020, što je najviša stopa inflacije u posljednjih pet godina. Doduše, treba imati na umu da su ovi podaci prikupljeni u kolovozu i rujnu, kada je inflacija bila znatno niža nego sada.

Tel Aviv je preuzeo vodeću poziciju dijelom zbog snage nacionalne valute, šekela, u odnosu na dolar, ali i zbog povećanja cijena prijevoza i namirnica. Zgodno je podsjetiti se kako je splitski gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak istaknuo upravo ovaj grad kao svoju viziju idealnog mjesta za život. "Tel Aviv je grad kakav bih ja htio da bude Split: grad turizma, a pored toga je moderni dio grada s najviše start up kompanija. Ako napravimo grad koji je ugodan za življenje, tada će ti ljudi imati dovoljna primanja da mogu zaraditi za svoj stan, ali morate razvijati grad", svojevremeno je poručio liberal Puljak.

Drugo mjesto dijele prošlogodišnji "pobjednik" Pariz i Singapur, a slijede ih Zurich i Hong Kong, koji su također doživjeli pad. New York je bio šesti, a Ženeva sedma. Prvih deset su zaokružili Kopenhagen na osmom, Los Angeles na devetom i Osaka na finalnoj poziciji.

EIU je kao gradove najprikladnije za život istaknuo Osaku, Ženevu i Zürich, što znači da je tamo, unatoč zastrašujućim troškovima, i sami standard jednako šokantno visok. Svakako, ovaj popis predstavlja svojevrsno upozorenje turistima, odnosno svima koji posjećuju te gradove, da se moraju pripremiti na 'odriješivanje kese' u tamošnjim restoranima, muzejima, kazalištima, i svim drugim stvarima koje su obvezne pri posjeti nekome od navedenih gradova. Nažalost, hrvatski gradovi nisu uvršteni u ovu analizu. 

Društvena ograničenja zbog pandemije koronavirusa "poremetila su opskrbu robom, što je dovelo do nestašica i viših cijena", rekla je Upasana Dutt, voditeljica odjela za svjetske troškove života u The EIU. "Jasno možemo vidjeti učinak u ovogodišnjem indeksu, pri čemu je rast cijena benzina posebno snažan", ustvrdila je. Prosječna inflacija ne uključuje četiri grada s iznimno visokim stopama: Caracas, Damask, Buenos Aires i Teheran.

Donji dio ljestvice otkriva, naravno, najjeftinije gradove među istraženima. U ovaj izračun nije uzeto u obzir jesu li ta područja trenutno zahvaćena ratovima i drugim nedaćama, što čini Damask kao logičnog kandidata za dno ove ljestvice. Poviše njega je još jedna metropola u koju je SAD "svrgavanjem diktatora donio demokraciju, mir i prosperitet", a riječ je o libijskom Tripoliju. Treći je uzbekistanski Taškent, a četvrto i peto mjesto pripada Tunisu i Almatiju iz Kazahstana. Neke bi moglo iznenaditi što se Buenos Aires nalazi na osmoj poziciji najjeftinijih gradova, ali u tu stavku je prste umješao argentinski dugogodišnji problem hiperinflacije. Također, Teheran se popeo sa 79. na 29. mjesto ljestvice najjeftinijih jer su tamo američke sankcije povisile cijene i uzrokovale nestašice.
