Pandemija koronavirusa prestat će za šest do devet mjeseci, život će se na proljeće potpuno normalizirati, a sva ograničenja postati će posve nepotrebna.

Ova rečenica ne spada u žanrove utopija, bajki ili predizbornih obećanja: riječ je o najnovijoj stručnoj procjeni njemačkih liječnika. Dašak optimizma ususret još jednom jesenskom valu zaraze prenijeli su gotovo svi njemački mediji, a vijest je u javnost preko "Rheinische Posta" lansirao čovjek koji je u Njemačkoj formalno na čelu liječničke branše, odnosno njihove strukovne organizacije.

Prognozu da će pandemija Covida prestati u proljeće 2022. i da će se život tada vratiti u nekadašnje normalne okvire šef udruge njemačkih liječnika Andreas Gassen temelji na činjenici da stopa procijepljenosti (barem u Njemačkoj i većini europskih zemalja) permanentno raste, te da će nastaviti rasti i u narednim mjesecima. Tome pridodaje i visok postotak ljudi koji su preboljeli koronavirus te su oboružani još većom razinom antitijela. Gassen tvrdi da njegov stav o kraju pandemije zastupaju i brojni poznati njemački znanstvenici, pogotovo oni epidemiološke struke.

„U jesen će se ponovno povećati broj infekcija, no ja u medicinskim krugovima ne vidim nikakve velike zabrinutosti da bi se zdravstveni sustav mogao urušiti", rekao je Gassen. Njegova je procjena da će broj ozbiljnih komplikacija ove bolesti ostati znatno ispod onoga kojemu su svjedočili prošle zime.

„Situacija u kojoj se nalazimo prikladna je za znatno više spokoja, no ne baš tolikoga da iznova postanemo lakomisleni" – riječi su uglednog njemačkog liječnika.

Gassen se izjasnio i u prilog odluke da u skoroj budućnosti u Njemačkoj više ne bude općih i za sve obveznih epidemioloških mjera. Ljudi bi trebali sami odlučiti što žele dobrovoljno učiniti kako bi se zaštitili, pa i hoće li nositi masku ili ne, rekao je. Savezna i pokrajinske vlade po njemu bi pametno postupile ako u narednim mjesecima ne budu donosile odluke o zatvaranju i mjerama, kako ne bi bespotrebno uznemiravale građane.

Vijesti iz Njemačke više su nego dobre, no pitanje je možemo li se mi u Hrvatskoj, gdje je cijepljenje građana gotovo posve prestalo, nadati baš jednakom ishodu i kraju pandemije kao i oni.

U Njemačkoj je dosad više od 61 posto ukupnog stanovništva dobilo obje doze cjepiva (u Hrvatskoj tek 42 posto), a više od 65 posto barem jednu. Povrh toga, već početkom iduće godine u Njemačkoj je najavljen početak cijepljenja čak i novorođenih beba. Glavni tajnik Njemačkog udruženja za intenzivnu njegu i hitnu medicinu, pedijatar Florian Hoffmann, najavio je za početak 2022. raspoloživa cjepiva za sve dobne skupine, pa i novorođenčad. Trenutno se privode kraju studije i testiranja vakcina Biontecha i Moderne za djecu mlađu od 12 godina, na koju se planira primijeniti smanjena doza cjepiva.

Istodobno, njemačko Stalno državno povjerenstvo za cijepljenje još dvoji oko svrhovitosti najavljenog cijepljenja djece, kao i oko davanja treće doze već cijepljenim odraslim građanima. Prema mišljenju koje dominira među stručnjacima u ovom povjerenstvu, takva cijepljenja ne nude jamstva da će polučiti ikakve dodatne učinke.

Ako se cijepljenje dopunjuje na niskorizičnim procijepljenim osobama i mlađoj populaciji, bespotrebno trošimo cjepivo koje je više nego potrebno u drugim zemljama, izjavio je član povjerenstva Klaus Reinhardt. Po njemu, političari pobuđuju posve nerealna očekivanja od treće doze cjepiva koja nisu znanstveno utemeljena.

Pandemija koronavirusa prestat će za šest do devet mjeseci, život će se na proljeće potpuno normalizirati, a sva ograničenja postati će posve nepotrebna.

Ova rečenica ne spada u žanrove utopija, bajki ili predizbornih obećanja: riječ je o najnovijoj stručnoj procjeni njemačkih liječnika. Dašak optimizma ususret još jednom jesenskom valu zaraze prenijeli su gotovo svi njemački mediji, a vijest je u javnost preko "Rheinische Posta" lansirao čovjek koji je u Njemačkoj formalno na čelu liječničke branše, odnosno njihove strukovne organizacije.

Prognozu da će pandemija Covida prestati u proljeće 2022. i da će se život tada vratiti u nekadašnje normalne okvire šef udruge njemačkih liječnika Andreas Gassen temelji na činjenici da stopa procijepljenosti (barem u Njemačkoj i većini europskih zemalja) permanentno raste, te da će nastaviti rasti i u narednim mjesecima. Tome pridodaje i visok postotak ljudi koji su preboljeli koronavirus te su oboružani još većom razinom antitijela. Gassen tvrdi da njegov stav o kraju pandemije zastupaju i brojni poznati njemački znanstvenici, pogotovo oni epidemiološke struke.

„U jesen će se ponovno povećati broj infekcija, no ja u medicinskim krugovima ne vidim nikakve velike zabrinutosti da bi se zdravstveni sustav mogao urušiti", rekao je Gassen. Njegova je procjena da će broj ozbiljnih komplikacija ove bolesti ostati znatno ispod onoga kojemu su svjedočili prošle zime.

„Situacija u kojoj se nalazimo prikladna je za znatno više spokoja, no ne baš tolikoga da iznova postanemo lakomisleni" – riječi su uglednog njemačkog liječnika.

Gassen se izjasnio i u prilog odluke da u skoroj budućnosti u Njemačkoj više ne bude općih i za sve obveznih epidemioloških mjera. Ljudi bi trebali sami odlučiti što žele dobrovoljno učiniti kako bi se zaštitili, pa i hoće li nositi masku ili ne, rekao je. Savezna i pokrajinske vlade po njemu bi pametno postupile ako u narednim mjesecima ne budu donosile odluke o zatvaranju i mjerama, kako ne bi bespotrebno uznemiravale građane.

Vijesti iz Njemačke više su nego dobre, no pitanje je možemo li se mi u Hrvatskoj, gdje je cijepljenje građana gotovo posve prestalo, nadati baš jednakom ishodu i kraju pandemije kao i oni.

U Njemačkoj je dosad više od 61 posto ukupnog stanovništva dobilo obje doze cjepiva (u Hrvatskoj tek 42 posto), a više od 65 posto barem jednu. Povrh toga, već početkom iduće godine u Njemačkoj je najavljen početak cijepljenja čak i novorođenih beba. Glavni tajnik Njemačkog udruženja za intenzivnu njegu i hitnu medicinu, pedijatar Florian Hoffmann, najavio je za početak 2022. raspoloživa cjepiva za sve dobne skupine, pa i novorođenčad. Trenutno se privode kraju studije i testiranja vakcina Biontecha i Moderne za djecu mlađu od 12 godina, na koju se planira primijeniti smanjena doza cjepiva.

Istodobno, njemačko Stalno državno povjerenstvo za cijepljenje još dvoji oko svrhovitosti najavljenog cijepljenja djece, kao i oko davanja treće doze već cijepljenim odraslim građanima. Prema mišljenju koje dominira među stručnjacima u ovom povjerenstvu, takva cijepljenja ne nude jamstva da će polučiti ikakve dodatne učinke.

Ako se cijepljenje dopunjuje na niskorizičnim procijepljenim osobama i mlađoj populaciji, bespotrebno trošimo cjepivo koje je više nego potrebno u drugim zemljama, izjavio je član povjerenstva Klaus Reinhardt. Po njemu, političari pobuđuju posve nerealna očekivanja od treće doze cjepiva koja nisu znanstveno utemeljena.
