Početkom travnja na dublinskom je aerodromu nastupilo takvo ludilo da je šef Ryanaira Michael O'Leary zatražio da im pošalju vojsku koja bi pomogla obavljati sigurnosnu kontrolu dok zračna luka ne zaposli nove djelatnike.

Zbog iznimno sporih i neučinkovitih kontrola na stotine putnika tjedno nije se uspijevalo ukrcati na plaćene letove, a stvari su se samo pogoršavale s dolaskom Uskrsa, koji za većinu Europe označava početak glavne, ljetne sezone.

Nije samo Dublin imao problema - izvršni direktor zračne luke u Manchesteru Charlie Cornish bio je prisiljen 8. travnja uputiti javnu ispriku svim putnicima zbog činjenice da djelatnici zračne luke nisu u stanju u razumnim rokovima obaviti sve radnje potrebne da bi se ljudi ukrcali na letove, a sve one koji će putovati narednih dana zamolio je da na aerodrom pristižu barem tri sata ranije jer im u suprotnome nitko ne može garantirati da će se uspjeti ukrcati na avion.

Nespremni za 'staro normalno'

Ono za čim je avioindustrija najviše od svega žudjela posljednje dvije godine - a to su obustava restrikcija i povratak normalnim prometima - i Europa i ostatak svijeta očito su dočekali nespremni, zbog čega posljednjih dana, više nego ikad, svjedočimo masovnim otkazivanjem letova u kojima uglavnom prednjače Ryanair i British Airways, piše Jutarnji.hr.

Problem postoji i "preko bare", gdje se avioindustrija susreće čak i sa sudskim tužbama, i to od strane predstavnika sindikata nezadovoljnih načinom na koji su tvrtke dočekale povratak prometa.

Sindikat koji zastupa pilote American Airlinesa tako je ovih dana podignuo tužbu protiv aviooperatera optuživši ga da je nespreman dočekao oporavak zračnog prometa, a rezanje proljetnih i ljetnih linija najavili su i iz Spirita, JetBluea i Alaska Airlinesa jer ne znaju kako drugačije spriječiti masovna kašnjenja.

Razlog?

Financial Times piše da je uzrok kronični nedostatak aerodromskog i avionskog osoblja kojeg su zračne luke i aviokompanije uslijed pandemije masovno rezale, a potom izgubile na milijune zaposlenika koje do oporavka prometa nisu uspjele ponovo zaposliti.

Otpustili radnike, sada im fale

FT tako piše o Swissportu, švicarskoj kompaniji koja je u pandemiji sa 65 tisuća broj radnika smanjila na njih 10 tisuća, a do oporavka prometa uspjela se vratiti na razinu od 45 tisuća. Putnike u Manchesteru opslužuje 200-tinjak radnika te ih još stotinjak čeka dozvole za početak rada, a osobe koje su spremne prihvatiti slična radna mjesta, navodi Financial Times, trenutačno su među najtraženijima na tržištu rada.

Pojedine kompanije kabinskom osoblju odobravaju bonuse od tisuću funti ako već imaju sve potrebne sigurnosne dozvole i mogu odmah početi raditi, a za probleme se uglavnom optužuje same aviokompanije, ali i nacionalne vlade pojedinih zemalja koje su donosile loše odluke.

"Industrija je izgubila preko dva milijuna radnika. A sada oni koji su preostali moraju snositi teret loših odluka, ali i frustracija i bijesa putnika", kazao je za FT Stephen Cotton iz Internacionalne federacije transportnih radnika.

Avioindustrija se naravno brani od takvih optužbi opravdavajući masovna otpuštanja praktički jedinim načinom da u pandemiji održe svoja poslovanja, a mnogi od njih sada su prisiljeni povećavati plaće i nuditi bonuse i dodatke kako bi do glavne sezone operativna poslovanja postavili na noge.

Problemima u zračnom prometu usprkos, industrija je i više nego zadovoljna oporavkom prometa, a mnogi među njima, poput recimo EasyJeta, procjenjuju da će već ovo ljeto biti u razini s pretpandemijskim brojkama. Tako WizzAir najavljuje čak 40 posto više sjedala u ljetnim mjesecima ove godine, u odnosu na 2019.

"2022. je godina u kojoj će europske aviokompanije opet postati profitabilne, posebno one koje uglavnom operiraju na kraćim rutama", procjenjuje analitičar Alex Irving.

Početkom travnja na dublinskom je aerodromu nastupilo takvo ludilo da je šef Ryanaira Michael O'Leary zatražio da im pošalju vojsku koja bi pomogla obavljati sigurnosnu kontrolu dok zračna luka ne zaposli nove djelatnike.

Zbog iznimno sporih i neučinkovitih kontrola na stotine putnika tjedno nije se uspijevalo ukrcati na plaćene letove, a stvari su se samo pogoršavale s dolaskom Uskrsa, koji za većinu Europe označava početak glavne, ljetne sezone.

Nije samo Dublin imao problema - izvršni direktor zračne luke u Manchesteru Charlie Cornish bio je prisiljen 8. travnja uputiti javnu ispriku svim putnicima zbog činjenice da djelatnici zračne luke nisu u stanju u razumnim rokovima obaviti sve radnje potrebne da bi se ljudi ukrcali na letove, a sve one koji će putovati narednih dana zamolio je da na aerodrom pristižu barem tri sata ranije jer im u suprotnome nitko ne može garantirati da će se uspjeti ukrcati na avion.

Nespremni za 'staro normalno'

Ono za čim je avioindustrija najviše od svega žudjela posljednje dvije godine - a to su obustava restrikcija i povratak normalnim prometima - i Europa i ostatak svijeta očito su dočekali nespremni, zbog čega posljednjih dana, više nego ikad, svjedočimo masovnim otkazivanjem letova u kojima uglavnom prednjače Ryanair i British Airways, piše Jutarnji.hr.

Problem postoji i "preko bare", gdje se avioindustrija susreće čak i sa sudskim tužbama, i to od strane predstavnika sindikata nezadovoljnih načinom na koji su tvrtke dočekale povratak prometa.

Sindikat koji zastupa pilote American Airlinesa tako je ovih dana podignuo tužbu protiv aviooperatera optuživši ga da je nespreman dočekao oporavak zračnog prometa, a rezanje proljetnih i ljetnih linija najavili su i iz Spirita, JetBluea i Alaska Airlinesa jer ne znaju kako drugačije spriječiti masovna kašnjenja.

Razlog?

Financial Times piše da je uzrok kronični nedostatak aerodromskog i avionskog osoblja kojeg su zračne luke i aviokompanije uslijed pandemije masovno rezale, a potom izgubile na milijune zaposlenika koje do oporavka prometa nisu uspjele ponovo zaposliti.

Otpustili radnike, sada im fale

FT tako piše o Swissportu, švicarskoj kompaniji koja je u pandemiji sa 65 tisuća broj radnika smanjila na njih 10 tisuća, a do oporavka prometa uspjela se vratiti na razinu od 45 tisuća. Putnike u Manchesteru opslužuje 200-tinjak radnika te ih još stotinjak čeka dozvole za početak rada, a osobe koje su spremne prihvatiti slična radna mjesta, navodi Financial Times, trenutačno su među najtraženijima na tržištu rada.

Pojedine kompanije kabinskom osoblju odobravaju bonuse od tisuću funti ako već imaju sve potrebne sigurnosne dozvole i mogu odmah početi raditi, a za probleme se uglavnom optužuje same aviokompanije, ali i nacionalne vlade pojedinih zemalja koje su donosile loše odluke.

"Industrija je izgubila preko dva milijuna radnika. A sada oni koji su preostali moraju snositi teret loših odluka, ali i frustracija i bijesa putnika", kazao je za FT Stephen Cotton iz Internacionalne federacije transportnih radnika.

Avioindustrija se naravno brani od takvih optužbi opravdavajući masovna otpuštanja praktički jedinim načinom da u pandemiji održe svoja poslovanja, a mnogi od njih sada su prisiljeni povećavati plaće i nuditi bonuse i dodatke kako bi do glavne sezone operativna poslovanja postavili na noge.

Problemima u zračnom prometu usprkos, industrija je i više nego zadovoljna oporavkom prometa, a mnogi među njima, poput recimo EasyJeta, procjenjuju da će već ovo ljeto biti u razini s pretpandemijskim brojkama. Tako WizzAir najavljuje čak 40 posto više sjedala u ljetnim mjesecima ove godine, u odnosu na 2019.

"2022. je godina u kojoj će europske aviokompanije opet postati profitabilne, posebno one koje uglavnom operiraju na kraćim rutama", procjenjuje analitičar Alex Irving.

Ludilo na aerodromima: operateri otkazuju letove, zračnog osoblja nema ni za lijek, šefovi zatražili pomoć vojske

Početkom travnja na dublinskom je aerodromu nastupilo takvo ludilo da je šef Ryanaira Michael O'Leary zatražio da im pošalju vojsku koja bi pomogla obavljati sigurnosnu kontrolu dok zračna luka ne zaposli nove djelatnike.

Zbog iznimno sporih i neučinkovitih kontrola na stotine putnika tjedno nije se uspijevalo ukrcati na plaćene letove, a stvari su se samo pogoršavale s dolaskom Uskrsa, koji za većinu Europe označava početak glavne, ljetne sezone.

Nije samo Dublin imao problema - izvršni direktor zračne luke u Manchesteru Charlie Cornish bio je prisiljen 8. travnja uputiti javnu ispriku svim putnicima zbog činjenice da djelatnici zračne luke nisu u stanju u razumnim rokovima obaviti sve radnje potrebne da bi se ljudi ukrcali na letove, a sve one koji će putovati...
