Raul Castro potvrdio je da predaje vodstvo Komunističke partije Kube mlađoj generaciji, koja je, kako je rekao, "puna strasti i antiimperijalističkog duha", na kongresu stranke koji je počeo u petak.

Castro je u govoru na otvaranju četvorodnevnog kongresa, koji se održava iza zatvorenih vrata, a čiji su isječci objavljeni na televiziji, rekao da mu je zadovoljstvo što vodstvo predaje skupini odanoj stranci koja ima višedesetljetno stranačko iskustvo.

"Žarko vjerujem u snagu i uzornost i razumijevanje svojih sunarodnjaka i dok budem živ bit ću spreman braniti domovinu, revoluciju i socijalizam", rekao je Castro stotinama okupljenih stranačkih delegata u kongresnom centru u Havani.

U svom je govoru pozvao i na "dijalog s poštovanjem" između Kube i SAD, ali bez "odricanja socijalizma".

Rekao je da se povlači s osjećajem da je "ispunio svoju misiju i uvjeren u budućnost domovine". Njegovim povlačenjem završava se šest desetljeća dugo razdoblje u kojem su Kubu vodili on ili njegov brat Fidel, a koje je počelo 1959. godine.

Nakon smrti Fidela Castra 2016. i sada odlaska u mirovinu njegovog 89-godišnjeg brata Raula okreće se nova stranica u politici Kube i njezinih građana od kojih mnogi cijeli život poznaju samo vlast slavne revolucionarne obitelji, dodaje AFP.

Castro nije otkrio koga će podržati za svog nasljednika na mjestu prvog generalnog tajnika Komunističke partije, ali ranije je dao naslutiti da je njegov favorit Miguel Diaz-Canel koji ga je naslijedio na mjestu predsjednika 2018. godine.

'Smjer vlasti neće se mijenjati'

„Sanjati i nastavljati državu: danas počinjemo naš osmi kongres Komunističke partije“, napisao je, prenosi Jutarnji.hr, ranije na Twitteru kubanski predsjednik Diaz-Canel, koji je pozvan da preuzme tu političku grupaciju. 

To je „kongres kontinuiteta“, dodao je Diaz-Canel, naglasivši kako se smjer vlasti na Kubi, jednoj od pet posljednjih komunističkih država, neće mijenjati, prenosi agencija France Presse. 

Nakon smrti Fidela Castra 2016. i sada odlaska u mirovinu njegovog 89-godišnjeg brata Raula okreće se nova stranica u politici Kube i njezinih građana od kojih mnogi cijeli život poznaju samo vlast slavne revolucionarne obitelji, dodaje AFP.

„Raul više neće biti glava stranke, no u slučaju problema Raul će biti tu, on nije mrtav“, smatra Ramon Blande, 84-godišnji komunist. 

On vjeruje kako je 60-godišnji Diaz-Canel „i dalje dovoljno mlad“, no i da ga čekaju „problemi“. 

Zasjedanje iz zatvorenih vrata

U petak se u prijestolnici Havani okupilo nekoliko stotina delegata iz svih kubanskih provincija kako bi raspravljali o važnim temama za državu. 

Njihovo zasjedanje iza zatvorenih vrata održava se točno na dan na koji je Fidel prije 60 godina objavio socijalistički karakter Kubanske revolucije. 

Za razliku od prošlih kongresa, ovaj put nije bilo prijenosa na televiziji. Službeni portal Cubadebate objavio je kako je Raul Castro, nakon odavanja počasti bratu, predstavio delegatima izvještaj za kongres. 

Imenovanje Diaz-Canela glavnim tajnikom Komunističke partije, što je najvažnija funkcija u zemlji, očekuje se zadnjeg dana kongresa, u ponedjeljak. 

Kubi su čestitale druge komunističke zemlje – Kina, Vijetnam, Laos i Sjeverna Koreja.

Pandemija pokosila državu

U to vrijeme stanovnici na kubanskim ulicama, ispražnjenim od turista zbog pandemije, zabrinuti su zbog nestašice hrane, redova u trgovinama i velike inflacije.  

Za Normana McKaya, analitičara Economist Intelligence Unita, „odlazak Raula je važan događaj, ne samo jer njime završava dinastija koja je trajala 50 godina, nego i jer se događa u teškom periodu ekonomskih turbulencija“. 

„To ne znači da će nužno biti velikih promjena u stilu vladanja Komunističke partije“, no moglo bi doći do zahtjeva za većom transparentnošću i slobodama što će partija teško moći ignorirati, smatra McKay. 

Politički analitičar Harold Cardens pak naglašava kako kubanskim društvom vlada „osjećaj umora“ koji je uzrokovan kombinacijom politike maksimalnog pritiska na Kubu bivšeg američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa te padom povjerenja u projekte kubanskog vodstva.

Raul Castro potvrdio je da predaje vodstvo Komunističke partije Kube mlađoj generaciji, koja je, kako je rekao, "puna strasti i antiimperijalističkog duha", na kongresu stranke koji je počeo u petak.

Castro je u govoru na otvaranju četvorodnevnog kongresa, koji se održava iza zatvorenih vrata, a čiji su isječci objavljeni na televiziji, rekao da mu je zadovoljstvo što vodstvo predaje skupini odanoj stranci koja ima višedesetljetno stranačko iskustvo.

"Žarko vjerujem u snagu i uzornost i razumijevanje svojih sunarodnjaka i dok budem živ bit ću spreman braniti domovinu, revoluciju i socijalizam", rekao je Castro stotinama okupljenih stranačkih delegata u kongresnom centru u Havani.

U svom je govoru pozvao i na "dijalog s poštovanjem" između Kube i SAD, ali bez "odricanja socijalizma".

Rekao je da se povlači s osjećajem da je "ispunio svoju misiju i uvjeren u budućnost domovine". Njegovim povlačenjem završava se šest desetljeća dugo razdoblje u kojem su Kubu vodili on ili njegov brat Fidel, a koje je počelo 1959. godine.

Nakon smrti Fidela Castra 2016. i sada odlaska u mirovinu njegovog 89-godišnjeg brata Raula okreće se nova stranica u politici Kube i njezinih građana od kojih mnogi cijeli život poznaju samo vlast slavne revolucionarne obitelji, dodaje AFP.

Castro nije otkrio koga će podržati za svog nasljednika na mjestu prvog generalnog tajnika Komunističke partije, ali ranije je dao naslutiti da je njegov favorit Miguel Diaz-Canel koji ga je naslijedio na mjestu predsjednika 2018. godine.

'Smjer vlasti neće se mijenjati'

„Sanjati i nastavljati državu: danas počinjemo naš osmi kongres Komunističke partije“, napisao je, prenosi Jutarnji.hr, ranije na Twitteru kubanski predsjednik Diaz-Canel, koji je pozvan da preuzme tu političku grupaciju. 

To je „kongres kontinuiteta“, dodao je Diaz-Canel, naglasivši kako se smjer vlasti na Kubi, jednoj od pet posljednjih komunističkih država, neće mijenjati, prenosi agencija France Presse. 

Nakon smrti Fidela Castra 2016. i sada odlaska u mirovinu njegovog 89-godišnjeg brata Raula okreće se nova stranica u politici Kube i njezinih građana od kojih mnogi cijeli život poznaju samo vlast slavne revolucionarne obitelji, dodaje AFP.

„Raul više neće biti glava stranke, no u slučaju problema Raul će biti tu, on nije mrtav“, smatra Ramon Blande, 84-godišnji komunist. 

On vjeruje kako je 60-godišnji Diaz-Canel „i dalje dovoljno mlad“, no i da ga čekaju „problemi“. 

Zasjedanje iz zatvorenih vrata

U petak se u prijestolnici Havani okupilo nekoliko stotina delegata iz svih kubanskih provincija kako bi raspravljali o važnim temama za državu. 

Njihovo zasjedanje iza zatvorenih vrata održava se točno na dan na koji je Fidel prije 60 godina objavio socijalistički karakter Kubanske revolucije. 

Za razliku od prošlih kongresa, ovaj put nije bilo prijenosa na televiziji. Službeni portal Cubadebate objavio je kako je Raul Castro, nakon odavanja počasti bratu, predstavio delegatima izvještaj za kongres. 

Imenovanje Diaz-Canela glavnim tajnikom Komunističke partije, što je najvažnija funkcija u zemlji, očekuje se zadnjeg dana kongresa, u ponedjeljak. 

Kubi su čestitale druge komunističke zemlje – Kina, Vijetnam, Laos i Sjeverna Koreja.

Pandemija pokosila državu

U to vrijeme stanovnici na kubanskim ulicama, ispražnjenim od turista zbog pandemije, zabrinuti su zbog nestašice hrane, redova u trgovinama i velike inflacije.  

Za Normana McKaya, analitičara Economist Intelligence Unita, „odlazak Raula je važan događaj, ne samo jer njime završava dinastija koja je trajala 50 godina, nego i jer se događa u teškom periodu ekonomskih turbulencija“. 

„To ne znači da će nužno biti velikih promjena u stilu vladanja Komunističke partije“, no moglo bi doći do zahtjeva za većom transparentnošću i slobodama što će partija teško moći ignorirati, smatra McKay. 

Politički analitičar Harold Cardens pak naglašava kako kubanskim društvom vlada „osjećaj umora“ koji je uzrokovan kombinacijom politike maksimalnog pritiska na Kubu bivšeg američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa te padom povjerenja u projekte kubanskog vodstva.

Raul Castro potvrdio je da predaje vodstvo Komunističke partije Kube mlađoj generaciji, koja je, kako je rekao, "puna strasti i antiimperijalističkog duha", na kongresu stranke koji je počeo u petak.

Castro je u govoru na otvaranju četvorodnevnog kongresa, koji se održava iza zatvorenih vrata, a čiji su isječci objavljeni na televiziji, rekao da mu je zadovoljstvo što vodstvo predaje skupini odanoj stranci koja ima višedesetljetno stranačko iskustvo.

"Žarko vjerujem u snagu i uzornost i razumijevanje svojih sunarodnjaka i dok budem živ bit ću spreman braniti domovinu, revoluciju i socijalizam", rekao je Castro stotinama okupljenih stranačkih delegata u kongresnom centru u Havani.

U svom je govoru pozvao i na "dijalog s poštovanjem" između Kube i SAD, ali bez "odricanja...
