Ona je jednostavno bila “The Lady”. Cijeli je svijet učio njezino ime, Aung San Suu Kyi, ali dovoljno je bilo “The Lady”, i za pjesmu koju joj je posvetio U2 i film Luca Bessona. Ikona otpora vojnoj hunti u zemlji koja je bila poznata kao Burma, a zatim Mjanmar, piše Jutarnji.hr.

Krhka Azijatkinja koja je živjela u kućnom pritvoru od 1988. godine nije željela napustiti zemlju ni da primi Nobelovu nagradu za mir 1991. jer se bojala da joj oficiri neće dozvoliti da se vrati kući. A ona je, navodno, htjela ostati uz svoj narod. Kad je vojska 2010. godine odlučila malo popustiti negve samovlade i pustila je na slobodu, i sâm sam pisao da je riječ o važnom trenutku jer se otvara prostor za demokratske promjene. I pogriješio. Kao i svi ostali. Zbog čega mi nije lakše.

San Suu Kyi bila je odlučila ostati na vlasti po svaku cijenu i nigdje se, ni kod kuće ni u inozemstvu, nije moglo čuti da i riječ kaže protiv vojske. U jednom razgovoru za BBC je za svoju najdražu pjesmu izabrala vojni panegirik i dodala kako se ona i vojska u svemu slažu. Ako je mislila da će takvim pristupom moći graditi demokratske standarde, ili se grdno prevarila ili je već tad trebalo ozbiljno dovesti u pitanje njezinu političku zrelost.

S vojskom se ne gradi demokracija

S vojskom na vlasti ne može se graditi demokracija. Ako je aktivni general ministar obrane, tad u državi nešto nije u redu. Tad je to samo krinka demokracije. Aung San Suu Kyi pristala je na takvu ulogu, ulogu krinke.

"Vojska svojim postupcima želi u zemlji ponovno uvesti diktaturu. Pozivam ljude da to ne prihvate, već da zdušno odgovore i prosvjeduju protiv vojnog udara”. To je navodno njezino priopćenje, bez potpisa. Licemjerno, jer je s tom istom vojskom blisko surađivala sve ove godine. I što je najvažnije, podržala ju je u svim njezinim zlodjelima uključujući i ono najstrašnije, genocid nad manjinskim muslimanski Rohindžama. Mjesec dana prije posjeta tadašnjeg državnog tajnika Johna Kerryja Mjanmaru, američki je ambasador doživio prosvjede jer je Rohindže nazvao upravo tako, Rohindžama.

Suu Kyi na konferenciji za medije s Kerryjem nije spomenula njihovo ime. Navodno se i od Kerryja tražilo da to izbjegne. A tad je već bio počeo progon tog naroda koji je, uz punu podršku budističkih svećenika, trebalo u potpunosti istjerati iz zemlje. Silovanja djevojčica, ubojstva djece, paljenja živih osoba manja su od zala koje su mjanmarski vojnici slobodno nanosili, preciznije bili poticani da nanose. Dobitnica Nobelove nagrade za mir mirno je odgovarala da “traže samo da ljudi (u inozemstvu) shvate s kojim se teškoćama oni suočavaju i da nam daju prostora da riješimo naše probleme”. Rohindže. Probleme. Narativ koji podsjeća na nacistički. I oni su tražili krajnje rješenje. Nikoga više nije čudilo što je 2019. pred Međunarodnim sudom pravde u Den Haagu branila zločine svoje vlade. Zdušno.

Brani genocid

Glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres rekao je da razvoj događaja predstavlja "ozbiljan udarac demokratskim reformama". Što je ili dubinsko nerazumijevanje problema ili traženje izričaja kojim se nikome neće zamjeriti jer bi ga ove godine opet trebali birati. O kakvim demokratskim reformama govori Glavni tajnik UN-a u zemlji u kojoj je četvrtina zastupničkih mjesta rezervirana za pripadnike vojske? A izabrana liderica brani genocid.

Realno, iskrena je samo Kina koja je poručila da je “uzela na znanje događaje u Mjanmaru i u procesu je što boljeg razumijevanja situacije. Nadamo se da sve strane u Mjanmaru mogu na odgovarajući način, u skladu s ustavom i zakonskim okvirom, riješiti svoje razlike i zaštititi političku i socijalnu stabilnost”. Kina je ondje uložila puno novca. I samo ih je za to briga.

“The Lady” je davno izgubila pravo na tu titulu, a sad je ostala i bez vlasti. Bolje nije ni zaslužila. A zaključak ću posuditi od Salila Tripathija iz časopisa Foreign Policy: “Cijenu ovog državnog udara neće platiti ni vojska, ni budistički svećenici ni San Suu Kyi. Već ljudi u Mjanmaru”, piše Jutarnji.hr.

Dodao bih, ljudi koje je također iznevjerila i oduzela im nadu u demokraciju iako su joj na izborima u studenome osigurali premoćnu pobjedu. Ali nju nije bilo briga za ljude, nego samo da ostane na vlasti. Nije isključeno da će ubrzo tražiti podršku javnosti i međunarodne zajednice. Da nastavi s “demokratskim reformama”, kako stanje u Mjanmaru vidi Glavni tajnik UN-a.

Ona je jednostavno bila “The Lady”. Cijeli je svijet učio njezino ime, Aung San Suu Kyi, ali dovoljno je bilo “The Lady”, i za pjesmu koju joj je posvetio U2 i film Luca Bessona. Ikona otpora vojnoj hunti u zemlji koja je bila poznata kao Burma, a zatim Mjanmar, piše Jutarnji.hr.

Krhka Azijatkinja koja je živjela u kućnom pritvoru od 1988. godine nije željela napustiti zemlju ni da primi Nobelovu nagradu za mir 1991. jer se bojala da joj oficiri neće dozvoliti da se vrati kući. A ona je, navodno, htjela ostati uz svoj narod. Kad je vojska 2010. godine odlučila malo popustiti negve samovlade i pustila je na slobodu, i sâm sam pisao da je riječ o važnom trenutku jer se otvara prostor za demokratske promjene. I pogriješio. Kao i svi ostali. Zbog čega mi nije lakše.

San Suu Kyi bila je odlučila ostati na vlasti po svaku cijenu i nigdje se, ni kod kuće ni u inozemstvu, nije moglo čuti da i riječ kaže protiv vojske. U jednom razgovoru za BBC je za svoju najdražu pjesmu izabrala vojni panegirik i dodala kako se ona i vojska u svemu slažu. Ako je mislila da će takvim pristupom moći graditi demokratske standarde, ili se grdno prevarila ili je već tad trebalo ozbiljno dovesti u pitanje njezinu političku zrelost.

S vojskom se ne gradi demokracija

S vojskom na vlasti ne može se graditi demokracija. Ako je aktivni general ministar obrane, tad u državi nešto nije u redu. Tad je to samo krinka demokracije. Aung San Suu Kyi pristala je na takvu ulogu, ulogu krinke.

"Vojska svojim postupcima želi u zemlji ponovno uvesti diktaturu. Pozivam ljude da to ne prihvate, već da zdušno odgovore i prosvjeduju protiv vojnog udara”. To je navodno njezino priopćenje, bez potpisa. Licemjerno, jer je s tom istom vojskom blisko surađivala sve ove godine. I što je najvažnije, podržala ju je u svim njezinim zlodjelima uključujući i ono najstrašnije, genocid nad manjinskim muslimanski Rohindžama. Mjesec dana prije posjeta tadašnjeg državnog tajnika Johna Kerryja Mjanmaru, američki je ambasador doživio prosvjede jer je Rohindže nazvao upravo tako, Rohindžama.

Suu Kyi na konferenciji za medije s Kerryjem nije spomenula njihovo ime. Navodno se i od Kerryja tražilo da to izbjegne. A tad je već bio počeo progon tog naroda koji je, uz punu podršku budističkih svećenika, trebalo u potpunosti istjerati iz zemlje. Silovanja djevojčica, ubojstva djece, paljenja živih osoba manja su od zala koje su mjanmarski vojnici slobodno nanosili, preciznije bili poticani da nanose. Dobitnica Nobelove nagrade za mir mirno je odgovarala da “traže samo da ljudi (u inozemstvu) shvate s kojim se teškoćama oni suočavaju i da nam daju prostora da riješimo naše probleme”. Rohindže. Probleme. Narativ koji podsjeća na nacistički. I oni su tražili krajnje rješenje. Nikoga više nije čudilo što je 2019. pred Međunarodnim sudom pravde u Den Haagu branila zločine svoje vlade. Zdušno.

Brani genocid

Glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres rekao je da razvoj događaja predstavlja "ozbiljan udarac demokratskim reformama". Što je ili dubinsko nerazumijevanje problema ili traženje izričaja kojim se nikome neće zamjeriti jer bi ga ove godine opet trebali birati. O kakvim demokratskim reformama govori Glavni tajnik UN-a u zemlji u kojoj je četvrtina zastupničkih mjesta rezervirana za pripadnike vojske? A izabrana liderica brani genocid.

Realno, iskrena je samo Kina koja je poručila da je “uzela na znanje događaje u Mjanmaru i u procesu je što boljeg razumijevanja situacije. Nadamo se da sve strane u Mjanmaru mogu na odgovarajući način, u skladu s ustavom i zakonskim okvirom, riješiti svoje razlike i zaštititi političku i socijalnu stabilnost”. Kina je ondje uložila puno novca. I samo ih je za to briga.

“The Lady” je davno izgubila pravo na tu titulu, a sad je ostala i bez vlasti. Bolje nije ni zaslužila. A zaključak ću posuditi od Salila Tripathija iz časopisa Foreign Policy: “Cijenu ovog državnog udara neće platiti ni vojska, ni budistički svećenici ni San Suu Kyi. Već ljudi u Mjanmaru”, piše Jutarnji.hr.

Dodao bih, ljudi koje je također iznevjerila i oduzela im nadu u demokraciju iako su joj na izborima u studenome osigurali premoćnu pobjedu. Ali nju nije bilo briga za ljude, nego samo da ostane na vlasti. Nije isključeno da će ubrzo tražiti podršku javnosti i međunarodne zajednice. Da nastavi s “demokratskim reformama”, kako stanje u Mjanmaru vidi Glavni tajnik UN-a.
