Ispuštanje stakleničkih plinova porast će ove godine za dva posto i doseći novi rekord, upozorili su u ponedjeljak znanstvenici.
Emisije su od 2014. i 2016. stagnirale, ali ove će godine porasti uglavnom zbog Kine gdje su posljednje dvije godine padale, kažu stručnjaci.

Najnoviji podaci, predstavljeni u Bonnu na međunarodnoj klimatskoj konferenciji, udarac su globalnom cilju smanjenja ispuštanja štetnih plinova kako bi se izbjegle oluje, toplinski udari i porast razine mora.

"Pokazalo se da vrijednosti iz prošle godine nisu bile gornja granica", stoji u izvješću Global Carbon Projecta, skupine od 76 znanstvenika iz 15 zemalja.

Ispuštanje ugljičnog dioksida iz fosilnih goriva i industrije u 2017. za dva je posto veće nego u 2016. i na putu da dosegne rekordnih 37 milijarda tona, dodaju stručnjaci.

"Čini se da ispuštanje CO2 ponovno snažno raste...To je jako razočaravajuće", rekla je Corinne Le Quere, direktorica centra Tyndall na sveučilištu East Anglia u Londonu.

U Bonnu je u ponedjeljak ujutro s radom započela 23. svjetska klimatska konferencija na kojoj će do 17. studenog sudionici iz preko 190 zemalja pokušati naći mehanizme za ostvarenje ciljeva iz Pariškog klimatskog sporazuma iz 2015.

Njime se 195 zemalja obvezalo ograničiti globalno zagrijavanje na manje od dva stupnja Celzijeva u usporedbi s predindustrijskim razvojem. Sporazum su potpisali šefovi država ili vlada, a do sada ga je ratificiralo više od 130 zemalja, među kojima je i Hrvatska.

Brojni znanstvenici predviđaju da zacrtani cilj neće biti ispunjen jer vlade nisu poduzele dovoljno, a UN je upozorio da se svijet kreće prema scenariju u kojem će do 2100. temperatura narasti za tri stupnja.

Ispuštanje stakleničkih plinova porast će ove godine za dva posto i doseći novi rekord, upozorili su u ponedjeljak znanstvenici.
Emisije su od 2014. i 2016. stagnirale, ali ove će godine porasti uglavnom zbog Kine gdje su posljednje dvije godine padale, kažu stručnjaci.

Najnoviji podaci, predstavljeni u Bonnu na međunarodnoj klimatskoj konferenciji, udarac su globalnom cilju smanjenja ispuštanja štetnih plinova kako bi se izbjegle oluje, toplinski udari i porast razine mora.

"Pokazalo se da vrijednosti iz prošle godine nisu bile gornja granica", stoji u izvješću Global Carbon Projecta, skupine od 76 znanstvenika iz 15 zemalja.

Ispuštanje ugljičnog dioksida iz fosilnih goriva i industrije u 2017. za dva je posto veće nego u 2016. i na putu da dosegne rekordnih 37 milijarda tona, dodaju stručnjaci.

"Čini se da ispuštanje CO2 ponovno snažno raste...To je jako razočaravajuće", rekla je Corinne Le Quere, direktorica centra Tyndall na sveučilištu East Anglia u Londonu.

U Bonnu je u ponedjeljak ujutro s radom započela 23. svjetska klimatska konferencija na kojoj će do 17. studenog sudionici iz preko 190 zemalja pokušati naći mehanizme za ostvarenje ciljeva iz Pariškog klimatskog sporazuma iz 2015.

Njime se 195 zemalja obvezalo ograničiti globalno zagrijavanje na manje od dva stupnja Celzijeva u usporedbi s predindustrijskim razvojem. Sporazum su potpisali šefovi država ili vlada, a do sada ga je ratificiralo više od 130 zemalja, među kojima je i Hrvatska.

Brojni znanstvenici predviđaju da zacrtani cilj neće biti ispunjen jer vlade nisu poduzele dovoljno, a UN je upozorio da se svijet kreće prema scenariju u kojem će do 2100. temperatura narasti za tri stupnja.
