Ivan Selak, umirovljeni brigadir i pilot za RTL je komentirao rusku invaziju na Ukrajinu.

Selak je bio u Ukrajini kada su hrvatski MIG-ovi bili na remontu u Odesi. Komentirao je kakvo je stanje ukrajinskog vojnog zrakoplovstva.

Na pitanje mogu li Ukrajinci u tom kontekstu imati fanatizam koji su Hrvati imali 1991., Selak je odgovorio potvrdno. 

"2014. je počela revolucija na Majdanu, imali su vremena se spremiti. Prema onome što znam, nisu se spremili onako kako su se trebali. Imaju li piloti fanatizam koji smo mi imali, imaju sigurno", kazao je.

Komentirao je i stradanje legendarnog ukrajinskog pilota kojeg mnogi znaju po nazivu Sivi vuk. 

"Nažalost, gospodina Oksačenka Vladimira sam imao priliku i upoznati kad je bio naš ministar obrane u Ukrajini. Stradao je kao heroj Ukrajine, to je nešto što itekako utječe na moral ukrajinskih pilota. Poginuo je onako kako dolikuje pilotu. Bio je umirovljen, ali se vrati. Da sam tamo, učinio bih isto", kazao je. 

Na pitanje je li bilo akcija tijekom invazije koje će se upisati u povijest, Selak je kazao da nije. 

"Spominjan je prelet Suhoja prema Rumunjskoj, pretpostavljam da se neki Suhoj u samom početku rata podigao u Ukrajini i da se nije mogao vratiti na svoj aerodrom. na početku rata ciljevi su bili primarni vojni aerodromi, protuzračna obrana, centri veze, zapovjedna mjesta. Priča je oko toga da je avion sletio u Rumunjsku, je li se vratio, ne zna se. Ima tu i priča o nekakvim 'Ghost of Kijev', ali to su samo lijepe priče, to su lijepe želje. Mogu reći da želim da mi Shakira svira, ali neće", kazao je. 

Komentirao je i je li se očekivalo više ruske dominacije u zraku.

"To je priča da se Rusi boje nekakve dominacije... Rusi su dominantni na srednjem i velikim visinama. Na malim visinama vas gađaju protuavionski topovi i rakete. Ono što je sreća za Ukrajinu, a mi takvu sreću nismo imali, nju svijet naoružava", kazao je Selak. 

Selak je komentirao i može li Ukrajina izdržati bez europskih aviona te koliko je dobra taktika da se nabraja koliko se oružja šalje Ukrajini. 

"Meni je to ne da je pogrešno, nego smiješno. To izazivaš Putina. Ako to radiš, daj to radi još više, ali radi tiho. Bilo mi je smiješno, tužno i žalosno čuti našu stranu kako kaže koliko smo pušaka podijelili umjesto da šutiš i kažeš 'poslali smo vam humanitarnu pomoć', ali šuti o oružju", kazao je Selak. 

Komentirao je i ukrajinski zahtjev zatvaranja neba nad Ukrajinom i bi li to Putin shvatio kao objavu rata. 

"Vi možete reći zona zabrane letenja je iznad Ukrajine, ali to morate ostvariti. Kako? Samo na način da dignete svoje zrakoplovstvo u trenutku kad vidite ciljeve iznad Ukrajine, a to su isključivo ruski avioni. Bilo bi to zanimljivo za mene kao pilota gledati što će biti. Po meni, Amerikanci su superiorniji. Oni na naoružanje troše 15 puta više nego Rusi. Nisu ni ruski avioni i piloti loši. Bio bi to sukob koji bi prerastao u nešto grozno", kazao je. 

Kazao je i da Putin neće popustiti ni teoretski. 

"Taj čovjek ima goleme probleme kod sebe. Rat može završiti jedino na način da on nestane s ovog svijeta. Putin može i Rusija hoće uništiti posebno istočni dio Ukrajine, može ga zauzeti, ali ga nikada neće kontrolirati. On taj rat će sigurno izgubiti kako ga je izgubio u Afganistanu i kako su ga Amerikanci izgubili u Afganistanu", kazao je Selak za RTL.

Ivan Selak, umirovljeni brigadir i pilot za RTL je komentirao rusku invaziju na Ukrajinu.

Selak je bio u Ukrajini kada su hrvatski MIG-ovi bili na remontu u Odesi. Komentirao je kakvo je stanje ukrajinskog vojnog zrakoplovstva.

Na pitanje mogu li Ukrajinci u tom kontekstu imati fanatizam koji su Hrvati imali 1991., Selak je odgovorio potvrdno. 

"2014. je počela revolucija na Majdanu, imali su vremena se spremiti. Prema onome što znam, nisu se spremili onako kako su se trebali. Imaju li piloti fanatizam koji smo mi imali, imaju sigurno", kazao je.

Komentirao je i stradanje legendarnog ukrajinskog pilota kojeg mnogi znaju po nazivu Sivi vuk. 

"Nažalost, gospodina Oksačenka Vladimira sam imao priliku i upoznati kad je bio naš ministar obrane u Ukrajini. Stradao je kao heroj Ukrajine, to je nešto što itekako utječe na moral ukrajinskih pilota. Poginuo je onako kako dolikuje pilotu. Bio je umirovljen, ali se vrati. Da sam tamo, učinio bih isto", kazao je. 

Na pitanje je li bilo akcija tijekom invazije koje će se upisati u povijest, Selak je kazao da nije. 

"Spominjan je prelet Suhoja prema Rumunjskoj, pretpostavljam da se neki Suhoj u samom početku rata podigao u Ukrajini i da se nije mogao vratiti na svoj aerodrom. na početku rata ciljevi su bili primarni vojni aerodromi, protuzračna obrana, centri veze, zapovjedna mjesta. Priča je oko toga da je avion sletio u Rumunjsku, je li se vratio, ne zna se. Ima tu i priča o nekakvim 'Ghost of Kijev', ali to su samo lijepe priče, to su lijepe želje. Mogu reći da želim da mi Shakira svira, ali neće", kazao je. 

Komentirao je i je li se očekivalo više ruske dominacije u zraku.

"To je priča da se Rusi boje nekakve dominacije... Rusi su dominantni na srednjem i velikim visinama. Na malim visinama vas gađaju protuavionski topovi i rakete. Ono što je sreća za Ukrajinu, a mi takvu sreću nismo imali, nju svijet naoružava", kazao je Selak. 

Selak je komentirao i može li Ukrajina izdržati bez europskih aviona te koliko je dobra taktika da se nabraja koliko se oružja šalje Ukrajini. 

"Meni je to ne da je pogrešno, nego smiješno. To izazivaš Putina. Ako to radiš, daj to radi još više, ali radi tiho. Bilo mi je smiješno, tužno i žalosno čuti našu stranu kako kaže koliko smo pušaka podijelili umjesto da šutiš i kažeš 'poslali smo vam humanitarnu pomoć', ali šuti o oružju", kazao je Selak. 

Komentirao je i ukrajinski zahtjev zatvaranja neba nad Ukrajinom i bi li to Putin shvatio kao objavu rata. 

"Vi možete reći zona zabrane letenja je iznad Ukrajine, ali to morate ostvariti. Kako? Samo na način da dignete svoje zrakoplovstvo u trenutku kad vidite ciljeve iznad Ukrajine, a to su isključivo ruski avioni. Bilo bi to zanimljivo za mene kao pilota gledati što će biti. Po meni, Amerikanci su superiorniji. Oni na naoružanje troše 15 puta više nego Rusi. Nisu ni ruski avioni i piloti loši. Bio bi to sukob koji bi prerastao u nešto grozno", kazao je. 

Kazao je i da Putin neće popustiti ni teoretski. 

"Taj čovjek ima goleme probleme kod sebe. Rat može završiti jedino na način da on nestane s ovog svijeta. Putin može i Rusija hoće uništiti posebno istočni dio Ukrajine, može ga zauzeti, ali ga nikada neće kontrolirati. On taj rat će sigurno izgubiti kako ga je izgubio u Afganistanu i kako su ga Amerikanci izgubili u Afganistanu", kazao je Selak za RTL.

Ivan Selak, umirovljeni brigadir i pilot za RTL je komentirao rusku invaziju na Ukrajinu.

Selak je bio u Ukrajini kada su hrvatski MIG-ovi bili na remontu u Odesi. Komentirao je kakvo je stanje ukrajinskog vojnog zrakoplovstva.

Na pitanje mogu li Ukrajinci u tom kontekstu imati fanatizam koji su Hrvati imali 1991., Selak je odgovorio potvrdno.
