Slovački sud proglasio je u četvrtak guvernera središnje banke i člana upravnog vijeća Europske središnje banke Petera Kazimira krivim za sudjelovanje u podmićivanju i izrekao mu novčanu kaznu, a premijer ga je pozvao da podnese ostavku.

Specijalni ured državnog tužitelja podnio je optužnicu protiv Kazimira u listopadu 2021., optuživši ga za "zločin srodan korupciji", ali ju je u lipnju prošle godine povukao radi dopune. U studenom policija ju je ‘izvadila iz ladice‘.

U veljači tužitelji su naveli da je predmet optužnice "sumnja u koruptivne nezakonite aktivnosti povezane s poreznom revizijom nekoliko trgovačkih društava" u razdoblju kada je Kazimir bio ministar financija.

Kazimir je ustvrdio da nije prekršio zakon.

Sud je u četvrtak donio presudu na temelju naloga koji sadrži dokaze dostavljene u istrazi, a ne u sudskom postupku, zaključivši da je Kazimir kriv za kazneno djelo podmićivanja i izrekavši mu novčanu kaznu od 100 tisuća eura.

Presuda nije pravomoćna, a glasnogovornik tužiteljstva rekao je da su već uložili žalbu, što znači da slučaj ide na sud.

Slovačka središnja banka nije željela komentirati presudu, uputivši upite na Kazimirovog odvjetnika Ondreja Mularcika koji je također odbio komentirati slučaj dok ne dobije presudu u pisanom obliku.

ECB je odbio komentirati.

Pravomoćna presuda o počinjenom kaznenom djelu mogla bi guvernera koštati položaja na kojemu se nalazi od 2019., s mandatom od šest godina.

Zakon o središnjoj banci navodi da je uvjet za članstvo u njezinom odboru potvrda o nekažnjavanju. Ako ne ispunjava taj uvjet, članica ili član mogu biti razriješeni dužnosti.

Guvernera središnje banke imenuje i razrješava dužnosti predsjednik, na preporuku vlade, a imenovanje mora odobriti i parlament.

Premijer Eduard Heger pozvao je u četvrtak na Facebooku guvernera da podnese ostavku.

U listopadu 2021. informativna web stranica aktuality.sk izvijestila je, pozivajući se na neidentificirane izvore, da je Kazimir optužen u slučaju povezanom s navodnim podmićivanjem bivšeg šefa porezne uprave, koji je bio optužen u nekoliko slučajeva i surađivao je s istražiteljima.

Internetska stranica navela je da je Kazimir optužen da je bio "kurir" koji je šefu porezne uprave nosio mito od oko 50.000 eura u vezi s poreznim postupkom. Iz izvješća nije bilo jasno odakle je novac navodno došao.

Slovački sud proglasio je u četvrtak guvernera središnje banke i člana upravnog vijeća Europske središnje banke Petera Kazimira krivim za sudjelovanje u podmićivanju i izrekao mu novčanu kaznu, a premijer ga je pozvao da podnese ostavku.

Specijalni ured državnog tužitelja podnio je optužnicu protiv Kazimira u listopadu 2021., optuživši ga za "zločin srodan korupciji", ali ju je u lipnju prošle godine povukao radi dopune. U studenom policija ju je ‘izvadila iz ladice‘.

U veljači tužitelji su naveli da je predmet optužnice "sumnja u koruptivne nezakonite aktivnosti povezane s poreznom revizijom nekoliko trgovačkih društava" u razdoblju kada je Kazimir bio ministar financija.

Kazimir je ustvrdio da nije prekršio zakon.

Sud je u četvrtak donio presudu na temelju naloga koji sadrži dokaze dostavljene u istrazi, a ne u sudskom postupku, zaključivši da je Kazimir kriv za kazneno djelo podmićivanja i izrekavši mu novčanu kaznu od 100 tisuća eura.

Presuda nije pravomoćna, a glasnogovornik tužiteljstva rekao je da su već uložili žalbu, što znači da slučaj ide na sud.

Slovačka središnja banka nije željela komentirati presudu, uputivši upite na Kazimirovog odvjetnika Ondreja Mularcika koji je također odbio komentirati slučaj dok ne dobije presudu u pisanom obliku.

ECB je odbio komentirati.

Pravomoćna presuda o počinjenom kaznenom djelu mogla bi guvernera koštati položaja na kojemu se nalazi od 2019., s mandatom od šest godina.

Zakon o središnjoj banci navodi da je uvjet za članstvo u njezinom odboru potvrda o nekažnjavanju. Ako ne ispunjava taj uvjet, članica ili član mogu biti razriješeni dužnosti.

Guvernera središnje banke imenuje i razrješava dužnosti predsjednik, na preporuku vlade, a imenovanje mora odobriti i parlament.

Premijer Eduard Heger pozvao je u četvrtak na Facebooku guvernera da podnese ostavku.

U listopadu 2021. informativna web stranica aktuality.sk izvijestila je, pozivajući se na neidentificirane izvore, da je Kazimir optužen u slučaju povezanom s navodnim podmićivanjem bivšeg šefa porezne uprave, koji je bio optužen u nekoliko slučajeva i surađivao je s istražiteljima.

Internetska stranica navela je da je Kazimir optužen da je bio "kurir" koji je šefu porezne uprave nosio mito od oko 50.000 eura u vezi s poreznim postupkom. Iz izvješća nije bilo jasno odakle je novac navodno došao.

Guverner središnje banke kažnjen zbog sudjelovanja u podmićivanju, mora platiti 100.000 €. Premijer ga poziva na ostavku

Slovački sud proglasio je u četvrtak guvernera središnje banke i člana upravnog vijeća Europske središnje banke Petera Kazimira krivim za sudjelovanje u podmićivanju i izrekao mu novčanu kaznu, a premijer ga je pozvao da podnese ostavku.

Specijalni ured državnog tužitelja podnio je optužnicu protiv Kazimira u listopadu 2021., optuživši ga za "zločin srodan korupciji", ali ju je u lipnju prošle godine povukao radi dopune. U studenom policija ju je ‘izvadila iz ladice‘.

U veljači tužitelji su naveli da je predmet optužnice "sumnja u koruptivne nezakonite aktivnosti povezane s poreznom revizijom nekoliko trgovačkih društava" u razdoblju kada je Kazimir bio ministar financija.

Kazimir je ustvrdio da nije prekršio zakon.
