Telefonski razgovor između njemačke kancelarke na odlasku Angele Merkel i bjeloruskog predsjednika Lukašenka održan u ponedjeljak je bio 'razočaravajuć', rekao je predsjednik Odbora za vanjske poslove estonskog parlamenta Marko Mihkelson.

Mihkelson je dodao da čelnici EU-a koji razgovaraju s Lukašenkom daju vjerodostojnost njegovom legitimitetu kao predsjednika Bjelorusije. 'Bez poznavanja pozadine, to je razočaranje, ozbiljno razočaranje, jer smo kao EU zauzeli zajednički stav da nećemo priznati Lukašenka kao šefa bjeloruske države. Ovakav kontakt s Merkel ostavlja prilično čudan dojam', ustvrdio je.

U telefonskom razgovoru između Merkel i Lukašenka razgovaralo se o humanitarnoj pomoći za izbjeglice i migrante zaglavljene na granici EU-Bjelorusija. Čelnici EU-a nisu razgovarali s Lukašenkom od kolovoza 2020. nakon tvrdnji o masovnom lažiranju glasova na predsjedničkim izborima u Bjelorusiji. Naknadne oporbene prosvjede brutalno su ugušile bjeloruske sigurnosne službe. EU je tada primijenila sankcije na zemlju i njezino vodstvo.

Više od tjedan dana tisuće migranata, uglavnom s Bliskog istoka, gomilaju se na bjeloruskoj strani granice želeći prijeći u Poljsku. Lukašenko je još u svibnju zaprijetio da će poslati 'migrante i drogu' u Europu nakon što je EU uvela sankcije toj zemlji. Dužnosnici EU kažu da je režim u Minsku odgovoran za olakšavanje i omogućavanje nezakonite migracije, nazivajući to 'hibridnom agresijom'. U ponedjeljak su baltički predsjednici ove akcije označili kao 'trgovinu ljudima', a EU razmatra dodatne sankcije za bjeloruske dužnosnike i tvrtke koje potiču prelaske granica Europe.

Govoreći na tiskovnoj konferenciji u Tallinnu u utorak ujutro, i estonski predsjednik Alar Karis i premijerka Kaja Kallas istaknuli su da Europa zajedno promišlja akcije kada je Bjelorusija u pitanju. Kallas je rekao: 'Putin i Lukašenko žele pokazati da EU nije ujedinjena. Ali jesmo. Unatoč tome što je poziv Merkel došao kao malo iznenađenje.'

I litvanski ministar vanjskih poslova Gabrielius Landsbergis je bio nemalo iznenađen telefonskim razgovorom njemačke kancelarke s 'posljednjim europskim diktatorom'. Rekao je je o tome saznao preko Twittera. 'Lukašenko bi, ako ga nastavimo zvati, mogao početi misliti da ga je Zapad priznao kao bjeloruskog vođu. To nema smisla. On je krizu prouzročio, što znači da je sigurno neće pomoći rješiti', siguran je Landsbergis.

Umjesto toga, smatra, EU bi trebala staviti Lukašenka u 'situaciju pritiska'. 'Iskreno da vam kažem, ne vidim smisla razgovarati s njim', zaključio je.

Telefonski razgovor između njemačke kancelarke na odlasku Angele Merkel i bjeloruskog predsjednika Lukašenka održan u ponedjeljak je bio 'razočaravajuć', rekao je predsjednik Odbora za vanjske poslove estonskog parlamenta Marko Mihkelson.

Mihkelson je dodao da čelnici EU-a koji razgovaraju s Lukašenkom daju vjerodostojnost njegovom legitimitetu kao predsjednika Bjelorusije. 'Bez poznavanja pozadine, to je razočaranje, ozbiljno razočaranje, jer smo kao EU zauzeli zajednički stav da nećemo priznati Lukašenka kao šefa bjeloruske države. Ovakav kontakt s Merkel ostavlja prilično čudan dojam', ustvrdio je.

U telefonskom razgovoru između Merkel i Lukašenka razgovaralo se o humanitarnoj pomoći za izbjeglice i migrante zaglavljene na granici EU-Bjelorusija. Čelnici EU-a nisu razgovarali s Lukašenkom od kolovoza 2020. nakon tvrdnji o masovnom lažiranju glasova na predsjedničkim izborima u Bjelorusiji. Naknadne oporbene prosvjede brutalno su ugušile bjeloruske sigurnosne službe. EU je tada primijenila sankcije na zemlju i njezino vodstvo.

Više od tjedan dana tisuće migranata, uglavnom s Bliskog istoka, gomilaju se na bjeloruskoj strani granice želeći prijeći u Poljsku. Lukašenko je još u svibnju zaprijetio da će poslati 'migrante i drogu' u Europu nakon što je EU uvela sankcije toj zemlji. Dužnosnici EU kažu da je režim u Minsku odgovoran za olakšavanje i omogućavanje nezakonite migracije, nazivajući to 'hibridnom agresijom'. U ponedjeljak su baltički predsjednici ove akcije označili kao 'trgovinu ljudima', a EU razmatra dodatne sankcije za bjeloruske dužnosnike i tvrtke koje potiču prelaske granica Europe.

Govoreći na tiskovnoj konferenciji u Tallinnu u utorak ujutro, i estonski predsjednik Alar Karis i premijerka Kaja Kallas istaknuli su da Europa zajedno promišlja akcije kada je Bjelorusija u pitanju. Kallas je rekao: 'Putin i Lukašenko žele pokazati da EU nije ujedinjena. Ali jesmo. Unatoč tome što je poziv Merkel došao kao malo iznenađenje.'

I litvanski ministar vanjskih poslova Gabrielius Landsbergis je bio nemalo iznenađen telefonskim razgovorom njemačke kancelarke s 'posljednjim europskim diktatorom'. Rekao je je o tome saznao preko Twittera. 'Lukašenko bi, ako ga nastavimo zvati, mogao početi misliti da ga je Zapad priznao kao bjeloruskog vođu. To nema smisla. On je krizu prouzročio, što znači da je sigurno neće pomoći rješiti', siguran je Landsbergis.

Umjesto toga, smatra, EU bi trebala staviti Lukašenka u 'situaciju pritiska'. 'Iskreno da vam kažem, ne vidim smisla razgovarati s njim', zaključio je.
