Državni tajnik Svete Stolice, kardinal Pietro Parolin koji je u petak u Caracasu trebao predvoditi svečanost beatifikacije Josea Gregorija Hernandeza poznatog kao "liječnik siromašnih", otkazao je putovanje zbog pandemije.

- Zbog više sile, napose pandemije covida-19, državni tajnik neće moći, kao što je bilo planirano, otputovati u Venezuelu na proglašenje blaženim Josea Gregorija Hernandeza- navodi se u priopćenju Svete Stolice objavljenom u srijedu u Caracasu.

Zamijenit će ga apostolski nuncij Aldo Giordano.

Crkva u Venezueli već je odlučila smanjiti broj sudionika te svečanosti zbog pandemije.

Uspomenu na Josea Gregorija Hernandeza (1864. - 1919.) štuje velik broj ljudi u Venezueli bez obzira na političko opredjeljenje i na društveni položaj.

Istaknuo se time što je besplatno liječio najsiromašnije u vrijeme pandemije španjolske gripe početkom 20. stoljeća. Poginuo je u 54. godini kada je 1919. u Caracasu na njega naletio automobil. 

Njegove su slike osvanule na zidovima diljem zemlje dok se priprema svečanost njegova proglašenja blaženim.
Dekret o njegovoj beatifikaciji potpisao je papa Franjo u lipnju 2020. nakon priznanja čuda koje se pripisuje pokojnom liječniku. Godine 2017. desetogodišnja djevojčica Yaxury Solorzano preživjela je teško ranjavanje hitcima iz vatrenog oružja. Njezina se majka molila Hernandezu da joj ozdravi kćer.

Ova zemlja s 30 milijuna stanovnika prijavila je više od 2000 umrlih i više od 200.000 zaraženih covidom-19, od kojih više od 20.000 samo u ožujku, nakon dolaska brazilskog soja koji se smatra zaraznijim, pokazuju službeni podaci. Oporba ove podatke smatra "krajnje nepouzdanima". Bolnice su preopterećene i teško se nose s priljevom bolesnika.

Državni tajnik Svete Stolice, kardinal Pietro Parolin koji je u petak u Caracasu trebao predvoditi svečanost beatifikacije Josea Gregorija Hernandeza poznatog kao "liječnik siromašnih", otkazao je putovanje zbog pandemije.

- Zbog više sile, napose pandemije covida-19, državni tajnik neće moći, kao što je bilo planirano, otputovati u Venezuelu na proglašenje blaženim Josea Gregorija Hernandeza- navodi se u priopćenju Svete Stolice objavljenom u srijedu u Caracasu.

Zamijenit će ga apostolski nuncij Aldo Giordano.

Crkva u Venezueli već je odlučila smanjiti broj sudionika te svečanosti zbog pandemije.

Uspomenu na Josea Gregorija Hernandeza (1864. - 1919.) štuje velik broj ljudi u Venezueli bez obzira na političko opredjeljenje i na društveni položaj.

Istaknuo se time što je besplatno liječio najsiromašnije u vrijeme pandemije španjolske gripe početkom 20. stoljeća. Poginuo je u 54. godini kada je 1919. u Caracasu na njega naletio automobil. 

Njegove su slike osvanule na zidovima diljem zemlje dok se priprema svečanost njegova proglašenja blaženim.
Dekret o njegovoj beatifikaciji potpisao je papa Franjo u lipnju 2020. nakon priznanja čuda koje se pripisuje pokojnom liječniku. Godine 2017. desetogodišnja djevojčica Yaxury Solorzano preživjela je teško ranjavanje hitcima iz vatrenog oružja. Njezina se majka molila Hernandezu da joj ozdravi kćer.

Ova zemlja s 30 milijuna stanovnika prijavila je više od 2000 umrlih i više od 200.000 zaraženih covidom-19, od kojih više od 20.000 samo u ožujku, nakon dolaska brazilskog soja koji se smatra zaraznijim, pokazuju službeni podaci. Oporba ove podatke smatra "krajnje nepouzdanima". Bolnice su preopterećene i teško se nose s priljevom bolesnika.

Državni tajnik Svete Stolice otkazao je putovanje zbog pandemije: trebao je predvoditi beatifikaciju "liječnika siromašnih"

Državni tajnik Svete Stolice, kardinal Pietro Parolin koji je u petak u Caracasu trebao predvoditi svečanost beatifikacije Josea Gregorija Hernandeza poznatog kao "liječnik siromašnih", otkazao je putovanje zbog pandemije.

- Zbog više sile, napose pandemije covida-19, državni tajnik neće moći, kao što je bilo planirano, otputovati u Venezuelu na proglašenje blaženim Josea Gregorija Hernandeza- navodi se u priopćenju Svete Stolice objavljenom u srijedu u Caracasu.

Zamijenit će ga apostolski nuncij Aldo Giordano.

Crkva u Venezueli već je odlučila smanjiti broj sudionika te svečanosti zbog pandemije.

Uspomenu na Josea Gregorija Hernandeza (1864. - 1919.) štuje velik broj ljudi u Venezueli bez obzira na političko opredjeljenje i na društveni položaj.
