Globalno gospodarstvo izgleda „manje strašno" nego u lipnju i Međunarodni monetarni fond (MMF) blago će izmijeniti procjenu pada u ovoj godini, rekla je u utorak direktorica MMF-a Kristalina Gerogieva.

„Moja je glavna poruka da globalno gospodarstvo izranja iz najdublje krize", rekla je Georgieva.

„Katastrofa koja nas je zadesila ipak nije završila, ni izdaleka. Sve zemlje suočavaju se sada s nečim što bih nazvala 'dugotrajnim usponom', mukotrpnim usponom koji će bit dug, neravnomjeran i nesiguran. I obilježen povremenim posrtajima", dodala je čelnica MMF-a.

Međunarodni zajmodavac prognozirao je u lipnju da globalni bruto domaći proizvod (BDP) zboj mjera zaustavljanja koronavirusa pasti ove godine 4,9 posto, najviše od 30-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, pozivajući vlade i središnje banke da pomognu dodatnim poticajnim mjerama.

Novu prognozu objavit će sljedećeg tjedna, na redovnom jesenjem godišnjem okupljanju, ovaj puta na internetu.

U idućoj godini MMF i dalje očekuje „djelomični i neravnomjerni“ oporavak, istaknula je Georgieva. U lipnju je Fond prognozirao 5,4-postotni svjetskog gospodarstva u idućoj godini.

Zahvaljujući fiskalnim mjerama potpore ukupne vrijednosti 1.200 milijardi dolara i monetarnim popuštanjem bez presedana mnoga su razvijena gospodarstva, uključujući SAD i eurozonu, uspjela izbjeći najgoru štetu i počela su se oporavljati, kazala je Georgieva.

I Kina se oporavila brže no što se očekivalo, dodala je.

Tržišta u nastajanju  i zemlje s niskim primanjima nalaze se u posebno teškoj situaciji, s obzirom na slabe sustave zdravstvene skrbi, visoki vanjski dug i ovisnost o sektorima najranjivijima u pandemiji, poput turizma i vađenja sirovina, naglasila je čelnica MMF-a.

„U zemljama s niskim prihodima šokovi su toliko duboki da se suočavamo s rizikom „izgubljenih generacija“, rekla je Georgieva, nagovijestivši da će MMF i Svjetska banka sljedeći tjedan predložiti značajnije olakšavanje povrata duga za tu skupinu zemalja, napominje Reuters.

"U nekim slučajevima bit će nužna globalna koordinacija u restrukturiranju državnog duga, uz puno sudjelovanje javnog i privatnog sektora", upozorila je čelnica MMF-a.

Globalno gospodarstvo izgleda „manje strašno" nego u lipnju i Međunarodni monetarni fond (MMF) blago će izmijeniti procjenu pada u ovoj godini, rekla je u utorak direktorica MMF-a Kristalina Gerogieva.

„Moja je glavna poruka da globalno gospodarstvo izranja iz najdublje krize", rekla je Georgieva.

„Katastrofa koja nas je zadesila ipak nije završila, ni izdaleka. Sve zemlje suočavaju se sada s nečim što bih nazvala 'dugotrajnim usponom', mukotrpnim usponom koji će bit dug, neravnomjeran i nesiguran. I obilježen povremenim posrtajima", dodala je čelnica MMF-a.

Međunarodni zajmodavac prognozirao je u lipnju da globalni bruto domaći proizvod (BDP) zboj mjera zaustavljanja koronavirusa pasti ove godine 4,9 posto, najviše od 30-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, pozivajući vlade i središnje banke da pomognu dodatnim poticajnim mjerama.

Novu prognozu objavit će sljedećeg tjedna, na redovnom jesenjem godišnjem okupljanju, ovaj puta na internetu.

U idućoj godini MMF i dalje očekuje „djelomični i neravnomjerni“ oporavak, istaknula je Georgieva. U lipnju je Fond prognozirao 5,4-postotni svjetskog gospodarstva u idućoj godini.

Zahvaljujući fiskalnim mjerama potpore ukupne vrijednosti 1.200 milijardi dolara i monetarnim popuštanjem bez presedana mnoga su razvijena gospodarstva, uključujući SAD i eurozonu, uspjela izbjeći najgoru štetu i počela su se oporavljati, kazala je Georgieva.

I Kina se oporavila brže no što se očekivalo, dodala je.

Tržišta u nastajanju  i zemlje s niskim primanjima nalaze se u posebno teškoj situaciji, s obzirom na slabe sustave zdravstvene skrbi, visoki vanjski dug i ovisnost o sektorima najranjivijima u pandemiji, poput turizma i vađenja sirovina, naglasila je čelnica MMF-a.

„U zemljama s niskim prihodima šokovi su toliko duboki da se suočavamo s rizikom „izgubljenih generacija“, rekla je Georgieva, nagovijestivši da će MMF i Svjetska banka sljedeći tjedan predložiti značajnije olakšavanje povrata duga za tu skupinu zemalja, napominje Reuters.

"U nekim slučajevima bit će nužna globalna koordinacija u restrukturiranju državnog duga, uz puno sudjelovanje javnog i privatnog sektora", upozorila je čelnica MMF-a.

Globalno gospodarstvo izgleda „manje strašno" nego u lipnju i Međunarodni monetarni fond (MMF) blago će izmijeniti procjenu pada u ovoj godini, rekla je u utorak direktorica MMF-a Kristalina Gerogieva.

„Moja je glavna poruka da globalno gospodarstvo izranja iz najdublje krize", rekla je Georgieva.

„Katastrofa koja nas je zadesila ipak nije završila, ni izdaleka. Sve zemlje suočavaju se sada s nečim što bih nazvala 'dugotrajnim usponom', mukotrpnim usponom koji će bit dug, neravnomjeran i nesiguran. I obilježen povremenim posrtajima", dodala je čelnica MMF-a.

Međunarodni zajmodavac prognozirao je u lipnju da globalni bruto domaći proizvod (BDP) zboj mjera zaustavljanja koronavirusa pasti ove godine 4,9 posto, najviše od 30-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, pozivajući vlade...
