Broj smrtnih slučajeva od koronavirusa prešao je brojku od četvrtine milijuna u ponedjeljak nakon što se broj zaraženih popeo na 3.5 milijuna, pokazali su službeni podaci, dok nekoliko zemalja počinje ublažavati mjere karantene kojima je cilj bio obuzdati pandemiju.

Sjevernoameričke i europske zemlje imaju većinu novih smrtnih slučajeva i zaraženih u posljednjim danima, no brojke rastu u Latinskoj Americi, Africi i Rusiji.

Globalno, novih je 3.914 smrti i 75.646 novih slučajeva zaraze u posljednja 24 sata, zbog čega je ukupan broj smrtnih slučajeva porastao na 250.152 i 3.59 milijuna zaraženih. Barem 1.1. milijun ljudi oporavio je od zaraze, prema dostupnim službenim podacima.

To prelazi procijenjenu brojku od 140 tisuća smrti diljem svijeta od ospica 2018. godine i uspoređuje se s oko 3 do 5 milijuna slučajeva od ozbiljnih bolesti uzrokovanih sezonskom gripom, prema Svjetskoj zdravstvenoj organizaciji (WHO).

I dok trenutna putanja covida-19 nije dosegla razmjere španjolske gripe iz 1918. godine za koju se procjenjuje da je zarazila 500 milijuna ljudi, ubivši barem 10 posto od toga, stručnjaci se boje da dostupni podaci ne govore o istinskim razmjerima pandemije.

"Lako bismo mogli imati drugi ili treći val jer dosta mjesta nije steklo imunitet", rekao je Peter Collignon, liječnik zaraznih bolesti i mikrobiolog u bolnici u Canberri. Čovječanstvo nije steklo imunitet krda, što zahtijeva da se oko 60 posto populacije oporavi od bolesti, rekao je.

Prva smrt koja se veže uz covid-19 prijavljena je 10. siječnja u kineskom gradu Wuhanu, nakon što se tamo virus prvi puta pojavio u prosincu. Broj smrtnih slučajeva zabilježen u jednom danu svoj vrhunac dosegao je prije samo tjedan dana, 29. travnja, s brojkom od 10.229 slučajeva. Stopa porasti dnevne smrtnosti usporila je proteklih dana za 1-2 posto od visokih 14 posto na 21. ožujka.

Stopa smrtnosti varira od države do države.

Belgija ima najviši mortalitet od 16 posto među zemljama u kojima je zaraza bila širih razmjera. Na drugom kraju spektra nalaze se Australija i Novi Zeland s 1 posto. Britanija je na 15 posto, Italija na 14 posto i SAD na 6 posto. U Africi, smrtnost u Alžiru je 10 posto.

Collignon je rekao da je svaka zemlja s mortalitetom većim od 2 posto gotovo sigurno imala neprijavljene slučajeve, jer zemlje napadnute pandemijom vrlo vjerojatno nisu obavljale testiranja u zajednici ni bilježile smrti koje su se dogodile izvan bolnica.

Broj smrtnih slučajeva od koronavirusa prešao je brojku od četvrtine milijuna u ponedjeljak nakon što se broj zaraženih popeo na 3.5 milijuna, pokazali su službeni podaci, dok nekoliko zemalja počinje ublažavati mjere karantene kojima je cilj bio obuzdati pandemiju.

Sjevernoameričke i europske zemlje imaju većinu novih smrtnih slučajeva i zaraženih u posljednjim danima, no brojke rastu u Latinskoj Americi, Africi i Rusiji.

Globalno, novih je 3.914 smrti i 75.646 novih slučajeva zaraze u posljednja 24 sata, zbog čega je ukupan broj smrtnih slučajeva porastao na 250.152 i 3.59 milijuna zaraženih. Barem 1.1. milijun ljudi oporavio je od zaraze, prema dostupnim službenim podacima.

To prelazi procijenjenu brojku od 140 tisuća smrti diljem svijeta od ospica 2018. godine i uspoređuje se s oko 3 do 5 milijuna slučajeva od ozbiljnih bolesti uzrokovanih sezonskom gripom, prema Svjetskoj zdravstvenoj organizaciji (WHO).

I dok trenutna putanja covida-19 nije dosegla razmjere španjolske gripe iz 1918. godine za koju se procjenjuje da je zarazila 500 milijuna ljudi, ubivši barem 10 posto od toga, stručnjaci se boje da dostupni podaci ne govore o istinskim razmjerima pandemije.

"Lako bismo mogli imati drugi ili treći val jer dosta mjesta nije steklo imunitet", rekao je Peter Collignon, liječnik zaraznih bolesti i mikrobiolog u bolnici u Canberri. Čovječanstvo nije steklo imunitet krda, što zahtijeva da se oko 60 posto populacije oporavi od bolesti, rekao je.

Prva smrt koja se veže uz covid-19 prijavljena je 10. siječnja u kineskom gradu Wuhanu, nakon što se tamo virus prvi puta pojavio u prosincu. Broj smrtnih slučajeva zabilježen u jednom danu svoj vrhunac dosegao je prije samo tjedan dana, 29. travnja, s brojkom od 10.229 slučajeva. Stopa porasti dnevne smrtnosti usporila je proteklih dana za 1-2 posto od visokih 14 posto na 21. ožujka.

Stopa smrtnosti varira od države do države.

Belgija ima najviši mortalitet od 16 posto među zemljama u kojima je zaraza bila širih razmjera. Na drugom kraju spektra nalaze se Australija i Novi Zeland s 1 posto. Britanija je na 15 posto, Italija na 14 posto i SAD na 6 posto. U Africi, smrtnost u Alžiru je 10 posto.

Collignon je rekao da je svaka zemlja s mortalitetom većim od 2 posto gotovo sigurno imala neprijavljene slučajeve, jer zemlje napadnute pandemijom vrlo vjerojatno nisu obavljale testiranja u zajednici ni bilježile smrti koje su se dogodile izvan bolnica.

Broj umrlih od koronavirusa u svijetu prešao četvrt milijuna, najviše novih smrtnih slučajeva u Europi i Sjevernoj Americi

Broj smrtnih slučajeva od koronavirusa prešao je brojku od četvrtine milijuna u ponedjeljak nakon što se broj zaraženih popeo na 3.5 milijuna, pokazali su službeni podaci, dok nekoliko zemalja počinje ublažavati mjere karantene kojima je cilj bio obuzdati pandemiju.

Sjevernoameričke i europske zemlje imaju većinu novih smrtnih slučajeva i zaraženih u posljednjim danima, no brojke rastu u Latinskoj Americi, Africi i Rusiji.

Globalno, novih je 3.914 smrti i 75.646 novih slučajeva zaraze u posljednja 24 sata, zbog čega je ukupan broj smrtnih slučajeva porastao na 250.152 i 3.59 milijuna zaraženih. Barem 1.1. milijun ljudi oporavio je od zaraze, prema dostupnim službenim podacima.

To prelazi procijenjenu brojku od 140 tisuća smrti diljem svijeta od ospica 2018. godine i...
