Bivši američki državni tajnik Mike Pompeo i njegova supruga Susan mnogo su puta zloupotrijebili resurse i osoblje State Departmenta u privatne svrhe, navodi se u dugo očekivanom izvješću generalnog inspektora. 

U izvješću se opisuje preko 100 slučajeva neprimjerenog ponašanja "koji nisu imali očite veze sa službenim poslovima State Departmenta". 

Savjetnik bivšeg državnog tajnika u 2019. godini tri je mjeseca u radno vrijeme pripremao sastanak u Washingtonu s političkom organizacijom iz Kansasa, što je uključivalo jednog od Pompeovih donatora, navodi se u izvješću. 

"Popis sudionika delegacije koji je pripremila gđa Pompeo i dala višem savjetniku istaknuo je raniju političku potporu nekoliko njih izbornoj kampanji Pompea za Zastupnički dom i nije ukazao ni na kakve veze toga posjeta i djelokruga rada ministarstva vanjskih poslova", dodaje se. 

Par je također zaduživao osoblje State Departmenta da se "brinu za njihove osobne stvari, planiraju događaje nepovezane s misijom State Departmenta i obavljaju privatne poslove poput brige za kućne ljubimce i slanje privatnih božićnih čestitki", piše u izvješću. 

U izvješću se potvrđuje da je istraga generalnog inspektora počela prigovorom zviždača koji je naveo da je par Pompeo "od osoblja Departmenta tražio da obavljaju zadatke osobne prirode". 

Prigovor zviždača prvo je dobila izdavačka kuća McClatchy u srpnju. 

Politico je prvi objavio izvješće generalnog inspektora u petak. McClatchy je potvrdio autentičnost, a State Department ga je kasnije objavio. 

Ured generalnog inspektora zaključio je da je par kršio pravila State Departmenta i standarde ponašanja izvršne vlasti, što je štetno otkriće za bivšeg državnog tajnika i bivšeg ravnatelja CIA-e koji razmišlja o kandidaturi za republikansku predsjedničku nominaciju 2024. godine. 

Pompeo se oštro oglasio preko glasnogovornika u petak navečer i kritizirao izvješće kao "još jedan pokušaj vlade da okleveće mene i još gore, moju suprugu". 

Bivši državni tajnik i bivši kongresnik nazvao je izvješće političkim dokumentom i kritizirao curenje tog izvješća u medije prije službene objave.

Bivši američki državni tajnik Mike Pompeo i njegova supruga Susan mnogo su puta zloupotrijebili resurse i osoblje State Departmenta u privatne svrhe, navodi se u dugo očekivanom izvješću generalnog inspektora. 

U izvješću se opisuje preko 100 slučajeva neprimjerenog ponašanja "koji nisu imali očite veze sa službenim poslovima State Departmenta". 

Savjetnik bivšeg državnog tajnika u 2019. godini tri je mjeseca u radno vrijeme pripremao sastanak u Washingtonu s političkom organizacijom iz Kansasa, što je uključivalo jednog od Pompeovih donatora, navodi se u izvješću. 

"Popis sudionika delegacije koji je pripremila gđa Pompeo i dala višem savjetniku istaknuo je raniju političku potporu nekoliko njih izbornoj kampanji Pompea za Zastupnički dom i nije ukazao ni na kakve veze toga posjeta i djelokruga rada ministarstva vanjskih poslova", dodaje se. 

Par je također zaduživao osoblje State Departmenta da se "brinu za njihove osobne stvari, planiraju događaje nepovezane s misijom State Departmenta i obavljaju privatne poslove poput brige za kućne ljubimce i slanje privatnih božićnih čestitki", piše u izvješću. 

U izvješću se potvrđuje da je istraga generalnog inspektora počela prigovorom zviždača koji je naveo da je par Pompeo "od osoblja Departmenta tražio da obavljaju zadatke osobne prirode". 

Prigovor zviždača prvo je dobila izdavačka kuća McClatchy u srpnju. 

Politico je prvi objavio izvješće generalnog inspektora u petak. McClatchy je potvrdio autentičnost, a State Department ga je kasnije objavio. 

Ured generalnog inspektora zaključio je da je par kršio pravila State Departmenta i standarde ponašanja izvršne vlasti, što je štetno otkriće za bivšeg državnog tajnika i bivšeg ravnatelja CIA-e koji razmišlja o kandidaturi za republikansku predsjedničku nominaciju 2024. godine. 

Pompeo se oštro oglasio preko glasnogovornika u petak navečer i kritizirao izvješće kao "još jedan pokušaj vlade da okleveće mene i još gore, moju suprugu". 

Bivši državni tajnik i bivši kongresnik nazvao je izvješće političkim dokumentom i kritizirao curenje tog izvješća u medije prije službene objave.

Bivši američki državni tajnik Mike Pompeo i njegova supruga Susan mnogo su puta zloupotrijebili resurse i osoblje State Departmenta u privatne svrhe, navodi se u dugo očekivanom izvješću generalnog inspektora. 

U izvješću se opisuje preko 100 slučajeva neprimjerenog ponašanja "koji nisu imali očite veze sa službenim poslovima State Departmenta". 

Savjetnik bivšeg državnog tajnika u 2019. godini tri je mjeseca u radno vrijeme pripremao sastanak u Washingtonu s političkom organizacijom iz Kansasa, što je uključivalo jednog od Pompeovih donatora, navodi se u izvješću. 

"Popis sudionika delegacije koji je pripremila gđa Pompeo i dala višem savjetniku istaknuo je raniju političku potporu nekoliko njih izbornoj kampanji Pompea za Zastupnički dom i nije ukazao...
