Masovni predizborni skupovi američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa doveli su do više od 30.000 potvrđenih slučajeva covida-19 i vjerojatno prouzročili smrt 700 Amerikanaca, navodi novo istraživanje sveučilišta Stanford.

Voditelji istraživanja objavljenog u petak pomno su pratili 18 Trumpovih skupova između lipnja i rujna te njihove posjetitelje i do deset tjedana nakon skupa, prenosi agencija Dpa.

"Zajednice u kojima su se održavali Trumpovi skupovi platili su visoku cijenu u smislu bolesti i smrti", zaključili su istraživači.

Istraživanje je pokazalo da je stopa covida-19 često porasla u zajednicama koje su bile domaćini okupljanja u usporedbi s obližnjim gradovima koje Trump nije posjetio.

"Postoje neki pokazatelji da se poštivanje zdravstvenih uputa, poput uporabe maski, poboljšalo na kasnijim skupovima", napisali su istraživači.

Na Trumpovim skupovima posjetiteljima su nuđene maske i mjerena im je temperatura, no mnogi maske nisu nosili.

Glasnogovornik njegova protukandidata Joea Bidena oštro je kritizirao Trumpove skupove kao mjesta "super širenja" zaraze na kojima se krše sva zdravorazumska zdravstvena pravila.

Na Bidenovim skupovima sudjelovalo je mnogo manje ljudi, svi su nosili maske i držali socijalnu distancu.

Masovni predizborni skupovi američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa doveli su do više od 30.000 potvrđenih slučajeva covida-19 i vjerojatno prouzročili smrt 700 Amerikanaca, navodi novo istraživanje sveučilišta Stanford.

Voditelji istraživanja objavljenog u petak pomno su pratili 18 Trumpovih skupova između lipnja i rujna te njihove posjetitelje i do deset tjedana nakon skupa, prenosi agencija Dpa.

"Zajednice u kojima su se održavali Trumpovi skupovi platili su visoku cijenu u smislu bolesti i smrti", zaključili su istraživači.

Istraživanje je pokazalo da je stopa covida-19 često porasla u zajednicama koje su bile domaćini okupljanja u usporedbi s obližnjim gradovima koje Trump nije posjetio.

"Postoje neki pokazatelji da se poštivanje zdravstvenih uputa, poput uporabe maski, poboljšalo na kasnijim skupovima", napisali su istraživači.

Na Trumpovim skupovima posjetiteljima su nuđene maske i mjerena im je temperatura, no mnogi maske nisu nosili.

Glasnogovornik njegova protukandidata Joea Bidena oštro je kritizirao Trumpove skupove kao mjesta "super širenja" zaraze na kojima se krše sva zdravorazumska zdravstvena pravila.

Na Bidenovim skupovima sudjelovalo je mnogo manje ljudi, svi su nosili maske i držali socijalnu distancu.

Masovni predizborni skupovi američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa doveli su do više od 30.000 potvrđenih slučajeva covida-19 i vjerojatno prouzročili smrt 700 Amerikanaca, navodi novo istraživanje sveučilišta Stanford.

Voditelji istraživanja objavljenog u petak pomno su pratili 18 Trumpovih skupova između lipnja i rujna te njihove posjetitelje i do deset tjedana nakon skupa, prenosi agencija Dpa.

"Zajednice u kojima su se održavali Trumpovi skupovi platili su visoku cijenu u smislu bolesti i smrti", zaključili su istraživači.

Istraživanje je pokazalo da je stopa covida-19 često porasla u zajednicama koje su bile domaćini okupljanja u usporedbi s obližnjim gradovima koje Trump nije posjetio.
