Antoine Griezmann, francuski nogometni reprezentativac na privremenom radu u Barceloni, objavio je ovih dana na svome Instagram profilu da je okončao suradnju s Huaweiom. Posljednjih nekoliko godina bio je zaštitno lice kineskog telekomunikacijskog diva. Razlog: ozbiljne sumnje da Huawei u suradnji s kineskim vlastima razvija aplikaciju "Pozor, Ujgur" kako bi, uz pomoć tehnologije raspoznavanja lica, pratio i upozoravao vlasti na prisutnost Ujgura, manjinskog muslimanskog naroda, koji je meta brutalnog progona od strane kineskog režima.

Ne treba sumnjati da je Huawei izdašno plaćao francusku nogometnu megazvijezdu za reklamiranje svojih proizvoda. S razlogom. Samo na Instagramu Griezmann ima više od 30 milijuna pratitelja, nogometnih fanova, koje su nerijetko i fanovi visokih tehnologija, posljednjih modela mobitela, s vrhunskim kamerama, koje su osobito jaka strana Huaweia….

Griezmannov raskid suradnje s Huaweiom ima i dodatnu simboliku. Njegova sestra Maud preživjela je islamistički teroristički napad na koncertu u Bataclanu (Pariz, studeni 2015.), u kojem je ubijeno 130 ljudi i više od 400 ranjeno. A sad Griezmann, Francuz i deklarirani katolik, u znak prosvjeda protiv kršenja prava muslimana – Ujgura, raskida financijski unosnu suradnju. I poručuje Huaweiu: "Prestanite negirati optužbe (da surađuju s kineskim vlastima u praćenju ljudi, op. a.) već poduzmite konkretne korake, osudite masovnu represiju, iskoristite svoj utjecaj da pridonesete poštovanju ljudskih prava i prava žena u društvu".

Kao da je aktivist nekog NGO-a. Griezmann to čini u trenutku kada francuski predsjednik Macron pokreće veliku političku kampanju protiv radikalnog islama u Francuskoj, ulažući mnogo napora kako bi pokazao da ona nije usmjerena protiv muslimana, već samo protiv "separatista", onih koji ne priznaju temeljne francuske vrijednosti. (O realnim izgledima za uspjeh tako postavljene Macronove kampanje nekom drugom prigodom.)

Dakle, Griezmann pomaže Macronu ustajući protiv kršenja prava muslimana u Kini. Ali raskidom suradnje s Huaweiom ponajprije influencerski najavljuje novu francusku i novu europsku politiku prema Kini, osobito prema njezinim visokim tehnologijama, ponajprije 5G mreži, koje duboko zadiru u sigurnost drugih zemalja. I to je jedan od primjera kako politika i sport, uz korištenje novih medija, mogu uspješno igrati zajedničke (političke) utakmice.

Bidenov čvrsti stav

Na razini ozbiljne analitike nije iznenađenje da suradnja u suprotstavljanju globalnoj kineskoj dominaciji u sferi telekomunikacija, osobito 5G mreže koja ima značajke oružja novog doba, postaje jedan od prioriteta nove euro-američke suradnje. Države EU-a koje su se zbog vlastitih ekonomskih interesa dugo oglušivale na izravne Trumpove prozivke Kine kao globalne sigurnosne opasnosti, posljednjih mjeseci počinju mijenjati stav.

U europskim nacrtima za obnovu suradnje s novom administracijom izabranog predsjednika Bidena, zajedničko suprotstavljanje kineskoj telekomunikacijskoj dominaciji zauzima značajno mjesto. Sam Joe Biden zauzima vrlo čvrste pozicije o opasnosti kineske high-tech dominacije.

Sigurno mu nije ugodan nastavak istrage protiv sina Huntera Bidena i njegovih poslova s Kinom. Ali upravo ta istraga oslobađa izabranog predsjednika Bidena bilo kakvih neformalnih "obveza" prema Kini i zapravo ga dodatno potiče na čvrstu politiku, možda i čvršću od dosadašnje Trumpove.

Za početak, najavio je da neće ukidati Trumpove sankcije. Na Međunarodnom sigurnosnom forumu Halifax (koji je sigurnosni pandan ekonomskom forumu Davos), na kojem je kineska high-tech ekspanzija bila središnja tema, Bidenu bliski demokratski senator Chris Coons ukazao je da ta nova američka politika prema Kini mora uključivati "efektivnije i usklađenije djelovanje s američkim saveznicima protiv kineske ekspanzije".

I to je otprilike ono što se sada događa. Sadržaj Trumpove politike prema Kini pakira se u novu ambalažu obnove euroameričkog savezništva. A povećanje kineske prednosti, zbog ubrzane digitalizacije uvjetovane pandemijom COVID-19 i rekordnih kineskih ulaganja u umjetnu inteligenciju i tehnologije novog doba, tjeraju obje strane Atlantika na brzo djelovanje. U toj utrci u visokim tehnologijama jedino SAD može barem pokušati parirati Kini. Bez SAD-a, EU ima perspektivu – Ujgura.

Europa je napokon prepoznala zbog čega je važna zapadna digitalna neovisnost u odnosu na Kinu. Upravo zato da u sljedećim desetljećima ne bi svi postupno postali Ujguri. U tom novom geopolitičkom svrstavanju SAD će zajedno s novo-starim europskim saveznicima nastojati izvući i Rusiju iz zone isključivog kineskog utjecaja.

A možda uspiju s kineskog puta vratiti i hrvatsko vodstvo. Možda, na mig Angele i Emmanuela, i Andrej shvati da se digitalizacija države ne povjerava – onome tko prvi dođe. A baš to je nedavno u Dubrovniku uživo poručio, američkom državnom tajniku Mikeu Pompeu, ključnoj osobi aktualne zapadne politike prema Kini. Ako jučer nije povjerovao geopolitičkim prosudbama Mikea Pompea, možda sutra povjeruje geopolitičkim prosudbama Antoinea Griezmanna.

Antoine Griezmann, francuski nogometni reprezentativac na privremenom radu u Barceloni, objavio je ovih dana na svome Instagram profilu da je okončao suradnju s Huaweiom. Posljednjih nekoliko godina bio je zaštitno lice kineskog telekomunikacijskog diva. Razlog: ozbiljne sumnje da Huawei u suradnji s kineskim vlastima razvija aplikaciju "Pozor, Ujgur" kako bi, uz pomoć tehnologije raspoznavanja lica, pratio i upozoravao vlasti na prisutnost Ujgura, manjinskog muslimanskog naroda, koji je meta brutalnog progona od strane kineskog režima.

Ne treba sumnjati da je Huawei izdašno plaćao francusku nogometnu megazvijezdu za reklamiranje svojih proizvoda. S razlogom. Samo na Instagramu Griezmann ima više od 30 milijuna pratitelja, nogometnih fanova, koje su nerijetko i fanovi visokih tehnologija, posljednjih modela mobitela, s vrhunskim kamerama, koje su osobito jaka strana Huaweia….

I poručuje Huaweiu: "Prestanite negirati optužbe (da surađuju s kineskim vlastima u praćenju ljudi, op. a.) već poduzmite konkretne korake, osudite masovnu represiju, iskoristite svoj utjecaj da pridonesete poštovanju ljudskih prava i prava žena u društvu".

Kao da je aktivist nekog NGO-a. Griezmann to čini u trenutku kada francuski predsjednik Macron pokreće veliku političku kampanju protiv radikalnog islama u Francuskoj, ulažući mnogo napora kako bi pokazao da ona nije usmjerena protiv muslimana, već samo protiv "separatista", onih koji ne priznaju temeljne francuske vrijednosti. (O realnim izgledima za uspjeh tako postavljene Macronove kampanje nekom drugom prigodom.)

Dakle, Griezmann pomaže Macronu ustajući protiv kršenja prava muslimana u Kini. Ali raskidom suradnje s Huaweiom ponajprije influencerski najavljuje novu francusku i novu europsku politiku prema Kini, osobito prema njezinim visokim tehnologijama, ponajprije 5G mreži, koje duboko zadiru u sigurnost drugih zemalja. I to je jedan od primjera kako politika i sport, uz korištenje novih medija, mogu uspješno igrati zajedničke (političke) utakmice.

Bidenov čvrsti stav

Na razini ozbiljne analitike nije iznenađenje da suradnja u suprotstavljanju globalnoj kineskoj dominaciji u sferi telekomunikacija, osobito 5G mreže koja ima značajke oružja novog doba, postaje jedan od prioriteta nove euro-američke suradnje. Države EU-a koje su se zbog vlastitih ekonomskih interesa dugo oglušivale na izravne Trumpove prozivke Kine kao globalne sigurnosne opasnosti, posljednjih mjeseci počinju mijenjati stav.

U europskim nacrtima za obnovu suradnje s novom administracijom izabranog predsjednika Bidena, zajedničko suprotstavljanje kineskoj telekomunikacijskoj dominaciji zauzima značajno mjesto. Sam Joe Biden zauzima vrlo čvrste pozicije o opasnosti kineske high-tech dominacije.

Sigurno mu nije ugodan nastavak istrage protiv sina Huntera Bidena i njegovih poslova s Kinom. Ali upravo ta istraga oslobađa izabranog predsjednika Bidena bilo kakvih neformalnih "obveza" prema Kini i zapravo ga dodatno potiče na čvrstu politiku, možda i čvršću od dosadašnje Trumpove.

Za početak, najavio je da neće ukidati Trumpove sankcije. Na Međunarodnom sigurnosnom forumu Halifax (koji je sigurnosni pandan ekonomskom forumu Davos), na kojem je kineska high-tech ekspanzija bila središnja tema, Bidenu bliski demokratski senator Chris Coons ukazao je da ta nova američka politika prema Kini mora uključivati "efektivnije i usklađenije djelovanje s američkim saveznicima protiv kineske ekspanzije".

I to je otprilike ono što se sada događa. Sadržaj Trumpove politike prema Kini pakira se u novu ambalažu obnove euroameričkog savezništva. A povećanje kineske prednosti, zbog ubrzane digitalizacije uvjetovane pandemijom COVID-19 i rekordnih kineskih ulaganja u umjetnu inteligenciju i tehnologije novog doba, tjeraju obje strane Atlantika na brzo djelovanje. U toj utrci u visokim tehnologijama jedino SAD može barem pokušati parirati Kini. Bez SAD-a, EU ima perspektivu – Ujgura.

Europa je napokon prepoznala zbog čega je važna zapadna digitalna neovisnost u odnosu na Kinu. Upravo zato da u sljedećim desetljećima ne bi svi postupno postali Ujguri. U tom novom geopolitičkom svrstavanju SAD će zajedno s novo-starim europskim saveznicima nastojati izvući i Rusiju iz zone isključivog kineskog utjecaja.

A možda uspiju s kineskog puta vratiti i hrvatsko vodstvo. Možda, na mig Angele i Emmanuela, i Andrej shvati da se digitalizacija države ne povjerava – onome tko prvi dođe. A baš to je nedavno u Dubrovniku uživo poručio, američkom državnom tajniku Mikeu Pompeu, ključnoj osobi aktualne zapadne politike prema Kini. Ako jučer nije povjerovao geopolitičkim prosudbama Mikea Pompea, možda sutra povjeruje geopolitičkim prosudbama Antoinea Griezmanna.

Antoine Griezmann u digitalnom ratu protiv Kine

Antoine Griezmann, francuski nogometni reprezentativac na privremenom radu u Barceloni, objavio je ovih dana na svome Instagram profilu da je okončao suradnju s Huaweiom. Posljednjih nekoliko godina bio je zaštitno lice kineskog telekomunikacijskog diva. Razlog: ozbiljne sumnje da Huawei u suradnji s kineskim vlastima razvija aplikaciju "Pozor, Ujgur" kako bi, uz pomoć tehnologije raspoznavanja lica, pratio i upozoravao vlasti na prisutnost Ujgura, manjinskog muslimanskog naroda, koji je meta brutalnog progona od strane kineskog režima.

Ne treba sumnjati da je Huawei izdašno plaćao francusku nogometnu megazvijezdu za reklamiranje svojih proizvoda. S razlogom. Samo na Instagramu Griezmann ima više od 30 milijuna pratitelja, nogometnih fanova, koje su nerijetko i fanovi visokih...
