Otpad iz termoelektrane u Tuzli desetljećima zagađuje prirodu, upozorava DW u video prilogu.

- Ne postoje mjere zaštite okoliša. Otrovni teški metali, kao što su olovo, živa i kadmij, nefiltrirani prodiru u tlo i truju podzemne vode – rekao je Denis Žiško iz Centra za ekologiju i energiju.

Osim toga, otrovni sumporni dioksid prisutan je u količinama koje su već dugo zabranjene.

Tuzla nije usamljen slučaj. Naime, 18 termoelektrana na Zapadnom Balkanu zagađuje zrak više nego 221 termoelektrana u EU.

To je smrtna opasnost za ljude u okolnim selima.

- Djeca od početka života imaju problema s disanjem - rekao je za DW predsjednik mjesne zajednice Bukinje Goran Stojak, koji zaključuje da su ljudi u Tuzli žrtvovan radi termoelektrane.

Ekološke organizacije upozoravaju da je u Jugoistočnoj Europi u posljednje tri godine od posljedica zagađenja zraka umrlo više tisuća ljudi.

Termoelektranom u Tuzli upravlja državno poduzeće, ali ono ne instalira efikasne sustave za osumporavanje.

- To je prilično skup sistem, investirate u nešto što vam se tereti na konačnoj cijeni - izjavio je Halko Balavac, pomoćnik ministra za energetiku, rudarstvo i industriju FBiH.

Vlasti navode da se sad ulaže u nove oblike energije, ali ljudima u okolnim mjestima to ne donosi nikakvo olakšanje.

- Nažalost, naši su se političari dvoumili između profita i zdravlja stanovništva. Izabrali su profit – rekao je jedan od njih.

Bosna i Hercegovina dio svoje prljave električne energije prodaje Europskoj uniji. Ugovorom se složila da će pri proizvodnji električne energije poštivati ekološke propise, ali to ne čini.

Kritičari zato pozivaju na financijske sankcije EU-a.

- Mislimo da bi se porezi EU-a na CO2 trebali primjenjivati i na električnu energiju uvezenu sa Zapadnog Balkana - rekla je Ioana Ciuta iz neprofitne organizacije “Bankwatch Network“ za DW.

Otpad iz termoelektrane u Tuzli desetljećima zagađuje prirodu, upozorava DW u video prilogu.

- Ne postoje mjere zaštite okoliša. Otrovni teški metali, kao što su olovo, živa i kadmij, nefiltrirani prodiru u tlo i truju podzemne vode – rekao je Denis Žiško iz Centra za ekologiju i energiju.

Osim toga, otrovni sumporni dioksid prisutan je u količinama koje su već dugo zabranjene.

Tuzla nije usamljen slučaj. Naime, 18 termoelektrana na Zapadnom Balkanu zagađuje zrak više nego 221 termoelektrana u EU.

To je smrtna opasnost za ljude u okolnim selima.

- Djeca od početka života imaju problema s disanjem - rekao je za DW predsjednik mjesne zajednice Bukinje Goran Stojak, koji zaključuje da su ljudi u Tuzli žrtvovan radi termoelektrane.

Ekološke organizacije upozoravaju da je u Jugoistočnoj Europi u posljednje tri godine od posljedica zagađenja zraka umrlo više tisuća ljudi.

Termoelektranom u Tuzli upravlja državno poduzeće, ali ono ne instalira efikasne sustave za osumporavanje.

- To je prilično skup sistem, investirate u nešto što vam se tereti na konačnoj cijeni - izjavio je Halko Balavac, pomoćnik ministra za energetiku, rudarstvo i industriju FBiH.

Vlasti navode da se sad ulaže u nove oblike energije, ali ljudima u okolnim mjestima to ne donosi nikakvo olakšanje.

- Nažalost, naši su se političari dvoumili između profita i zdravlja stanovništva. Izabrali su profit – rekao je jedan od njih.

Bosna i Hercegovina dio svoje prljave električne energije prodaje Europskoj uniji. Ugovorom se složila da će pri proizvodnji električne energije poštivati ekološke propise, ali to ne čini.

Kritičari zato pozivaju na financijske sankcije EU-a.

- Mislimo da bi se porezi EU-a na CO2 trebali primjenjivati i na električnu energiju uvezenu sa Zapadnog Balkana - rekla je Ioana Ciuta iz neprofitne organizacije “Bankwatch Network“ za DW.

Otpad iz termoelektrane u Tuzli desetljećima zagađuje prirodu, upozorava DW u video prilogu.

- Ne postoje mjere zaštite okoliša. Otrovni teški metali, kao što su olovo, živa i kadmij, nefiltrirani prodiru u tlo i truju podzemne vode – rekao je Denis Žiško iz Centra za ekologiju i energiju.

Osim toga, otrovni sumporni dioksid prisutan je u količinama koje su već dugo zabranjene.

Tuzla nije usamljen slučaj. Naime, 18 termoelektrana na Zapadnom Balkanu zagađuje zrak više nego 221 termoelektrana u EU.

To je smrtna opasnost za ljude u okolnim selima.

- Djeca od početka života imaju problema s disanjem - rekao je za DW predsjednik mjesne zajednice Bukinje Goran Stojak, koji zaključuje da su ljudi u Tuzli žrtvovan radi termoelektrane.
