Novinari Slovenske tiskovne agencije (STA) upozorili su u utorak da agenciji prijeti gašenje, jer vlada, nezadovoljna uređivačkom politikom, više od 200 dana ne želi platiti obavljene usluge.

U apelu domaćim političarima i europskim institucijama novinari kažu da agencija ima novca za isplatu samo jedne plaće.

"Već početkom listopada možemo se naći u stanju nelikvidnosti", napisali su u priopćenju koje su poslali parlamentu, vladi i predsjedniku države od kojih traže da "konačno nešto poduzmu".

O stanju u agenciji obavijestili su i predsjednicu  Europske komisije Ursulu von der Leyen, predsjednika Europskog vijeća Charlesa Michela i predsjednika Europskog parlamenta Davida Sassolija.

Vodstvo i novinari STA već su mjesecima u prijeporu s Janšinom vladom koja im iz proračuna odbija isplatiti dva milijuna eura ili polovicu godišnjeg budžeta za obavljanje javne službe informiranja. Drugu polovicu agencija ostvaruje na tržištu. 

U međuvremenu su novac prikupljali donacijama i uredno obavljali svoj posao iako je zbog neizvjesne budućnosti ove godine otišlo 15-ak ljudi.

Po zakonu o STA, vlada je dosad isplaćivala novac u redovnim mjesečnim obrocima, što je prestalo početkom ove godine.
Janša je više puta optužio nacionalnu agenciju za navodno širenje "lažnih vijesti" i nazivao njihov rad "sramotnim" te je preko svog ureda za informiranje tražio promjenu vodstva.

STA je nedavno odbila vladin prijedlog novog ugovora, koji je predviđao veću kontrolu nad radom agencije koju je 1991. osnovala država.

Novinarske udruge i oporba od početka Janšina mandata u ožujku 2020. kritiziraju premijera da pritišće STA i nacionalnu televiziju kako bi ojačao svoju poziciju u medijima uoči parlamentarnih izbora koji bi se trebali održati u proljeće iduće godine.

Novinari Slovenske tiskovne agencije (STA) upozorili su u utorak da agenciji prijeti gašenje, jer vlada, nezadovoljna uređivačkom politikom, više od 200 dana ne želi platiti obavljene usluge.

U apelu domaćim političarima i europskim institucijama novinari kažu da agencija ima novca za isplatu samo jedne plaće.

"Već početkom listopada možemo se naći u stanju nelikvidnosti", napisali su u priopćenju koje su poslali parlamentu, vladi i predsjedniku države od kojih traže da "konačno nešto poduzmu".

O stanju u agenciji obavijestili su i predsjednicu  Europske komisije Ursulu von der Leyen, predsjednika Europskog vijeća Charlesa Michela i predsjednika Europskog parlamenta Davida Sassolija.

Vodstvo i novinari STA već su mjesecima u prijeporu s Janšinom vladom koja im iz proračuna odbija isplatiti dva milijuna eura ili polovicu godišnjeg budžeta za obavljanje javne službe informiranja. Drugu polovicu agencija ostvaruje na tržištu. 

U međuvremenu su novac prikupljali donacijama i uredno obavljali svoj posao iako je zbog neizvjesne budućnosti ove godine otišlo 15-ak ljudi.

Po zakonu o STA, vlada je dosad isplaćivala novac u redovnim mjesečnim obrocima, što je prestalo početkom ove godine.
Janša je više puta optužio nacionalnu agenciju za navodno širenje "lažnih vijesti" i nazivao njihov rad "sramotnim" te je preko svog ureda za informiranje tražio promjenu vodstva.

STA je nedavno odbila vladin prijedlog novog ugovora, koji je predviđao veću kontrolu nad radom agencije koju je 1991. osnovala država.

Novinarske udruge i oporba od početka Janšina mandata u ožujku 2020. kritiziraju premijera da pritišće STA i nacionalnu televiziju kako bi ojačao svoju poziciju u medijima uoči parlamentarnih izbora koji bi se trebali održati u proljeće iduće godine.

Novinari upozoravaju da slovenskoj novinskoj agenciji prijeti gašenje, Vlada im zbog uređivačke politike ne želi platiti obavljene usluge

Novinari Slovenske tiskovne agencije (STA) upozorili su u utorak da agenciji prijeti gašenje, jer vlada, nezadovoljna uređivačkom politikom, više od 200 dana ne želi platiti obavljene usluge.

U apelu domaćim političarima i europskim institucijama novinari kažu da agencija ima novca za isplatu samo jedne plaće.

"Već početkom listopada možemo se naći u stanju nelikvidnosti", napisali su u priopćenju koje su poslali parlamentu, vladi i predsjedniku države od kojih traže da "konačno nešto poduzmu".

O stanju u agenciji obavijestili su i predsjednicu  Europske komisije Ursulu von der Leyen, predsjednika Europskog vijeća Charlesa Michela i predsjednika Europskog parlamenta Davida Sassolija.
