Bivši vaterpolski reprezentativac Srbije i SR Jugoslavije Aleksandar Šapić izabran je u ponedjeljak za novog gradonačelnika Beograda kao kandidat liste "Aleksandar Vučić - Zajedno možemo sve", tri i pol mjeseca nakon izbora.

Od 110 mandata u gradskoj Skupštini, Vučićev SNS i socijalisti (SPS) njegova koalicijskog partnera Ivice Dačića osvojili su na travanjskim izborima 56, a u međuvremenu im se na konstitutivnoj sjednici pridružio i jedan oporbeni vijećnik koji je poslije izbora "promijenio stranu", zbog čega je isključen iz stranke.

Šapić, nekadašnji visoki dužnosnik danas oporbene Demokratske stranke, 25. je gradonačelnik srbijanske prijestolnice od 1945. godine, a dosad je bio predsjednik gradske općine Novi Beograd.

Poslije izlaska iz DS-a formirao je udrugu "Za naš grad", a potom i stranku Srpski patriotski savez, koju je potom sjedinio s Vučićevim naprednjacima, pa je u svibnju 2021. izabran za potpredsjednika Središnjeg odbora SNS-a.

Vaterpolom se bavio od 1984., a za reprezentaciju SR Jugoslavije, državne zajednice Srbije i Crne Gore, te potom Srbije, nastupao je od 1995. do 2008. godine.

Sudjelovao je četiri puta na Olimpijskim igrama i osvojio jednu srebrnu i dvije brončane medalje, a s reprezentacijom je na 22 europska i svjetska natjecanja osvojio ukupno 20 medalja.

Osnivač je humanitarne zaklade "Budi human" koja SMS porukama prikuplja novac za liječenje djece i odraslih.

Oporba Šapića optužuje za protupravnu gradnju u novobeogradskom naselju Bežanijska kosa, te za plagiranje doktorata iz područja industrijskog menadžmenta.

On na to poručuje da svi koji ga kritiziraju zbog navodnog plagijata mogu podnijeti kaznenu prijavu ako sumnjaju da je učinio nešto protuzakonito.

Bivši vaterpolski reprezentativac Srbije i SR Jugoslavije Aleksandar Šapić izabran je u ponedjeljak za novog gradonačelnika Beograda kao kandidat liste "Aleksandar Vučić - Zajedno možemo sve", tri i pol mjeseca nakon izbora.

Od 110 mandata u gradskoj Skupštini, Vučićev SNS i socijalisti (SPS) njegova koalicijskog partnera Ivice Dačića osvojili su na travanjskim izborima 56, a u međuvremenu im se na konstitutivnoj sjednici pridružio i jedan oporbeni vijećnik koji je poslije izbora "promijenio stranu", zbog čega je isključen iz stranke.

Šapić, nekadašnji visoki dužnosnik danas oporbene Demokratske stranke, 25. je gradonačelnik srbijanske prijestolnice od 1945. godine, a dosad je bio predsjednik gradske općine Novi Beograd.

Poslije izlaska iz DS-a formirao je udrugu "Za naš grad", a potom i stranku Srpski patriotski savez, koju je potom sjedinio s Vučićevim naprednjacima, pa je u svibnju 2021. izabran za potpredsjednika Središnjeg odbora SNS-a.

Vaterpolom se bavio od 1984., a za reprezentaciju SR Jugoslavije, državne zajednice Srbije i Crne Gore, te potom Srbije, nastupao je od 1995. do 2008. godine.

Sudjelovao je četiri puta na Olimpijskim igrama i osvojio jednu srebrnu i dvije brončane medalje, a s reprezentacijom je na 22 europska i svjetska natjecanja osvojio ukupno 20 medalja.

Osnivač je humanitarne zaklade "Budi human" koja SMS porukama prikuplja novac za liječenje djece i odraslih.

Oporba Šapića optužuje za protupravnu gradnju u novobeogradskom naselju Bežanijska kosa, te za plagiranje doktorata iz područja industrijskog menadžmenta.

On na to poručuje da svi koji ga kritiziraju zbog navodnog plagijata mogu podnijeti kaznenu prijavu ako sumnjaju da je učinio nešto protuzakonito.

Bivši vaterpolski reprezentativac Srbije i SR Jugoslavije Aleksandar Šapić izabran je u ponedjeljak za novog gradonačelnika Beograda kao kandidat liste "Aleksandar Vučić - Zajedno možemo sve", tri i pol mjeseca nakon izbora.

Od 110 mandata u gradskoj Skupštini, Vučićev SNS i socijalisti (SPS) njegova koalicijskog partnera Ivice Dačića osvojili su na travanjskim izborima 56, a u međuvremenu im se na konstitutivnoj sjednici pridružio i jedan oporbeni vijećnik koji je poslije izbora "promijenio stranu", zbog čega je isključen iz stranke.

Šapić, nekadašnji visoki dužnosnik danas oporbene Demokratske stranke, 25. je gradonačelnik srbijanske prijestolnice od 1945. godine, a dosad je bio predsjednik gradske općine Novi Beograd.
