Zadarski liječnici proveli su kliničko istraživanje prvog terapijskog iskustva liječenja COVID-19 infekcije i u najnovijem broju stručnog časopisa Acta Medica Croatica zaključili da su dobar učinak u različitim fazama infekcije pokazali lijekovi klorokin i tocilizumab.

Analiza se odnosi na prvo razdoblje epidemije, od 10. ožujka do 9. svibnja, kada su na području Zadarske županije ukupno testirane 1983 osobe, od koji je 85 osoba imalo pozitivan nalaz na SARS-Cov-2.

U Općoj bolnici Zadar liječena je 31 osoba, čija je prosječna dob iznosila 62,7 godina. Većina pacijenata, njih 27, za početnu je terapiju uzimala već poznati antimalarik klorokin, a troje bolesnika kombinaciju antivirusnih lijekova lopinavir/ritonavir, stoji u tekstu  Akademije medicinskih znanosti Hrvatske.

Pet bolesnika iz skupine liječenih klorokinom premješteno je u jedinicu intenzivnog liječenja zbog razvoja bolesti i potrebe za mehaničkom ventilacijom. Oni su liječeni drugom antibiotskom terapijom zbog progresije pneumonije. Troje od njih liječeno je tocilizumabom s dobrim terapijskim ishodom u svih, kaže se u tekstu čija je vodeća autorica Vedrana Terkeš. 

Tocilizumab je lijek koji sadrži bjelančevinu specifičnih imunoloških stanica koje blokiraju širenje upalnog procesa.

Prosječno trajanje hospitalizacije iznosilo je 12 dana. Samo jedno liječenje (3 posto) završilo je smrtnim ishodom. Bio je to bolesnik u dobi od 88 godina, koji je imao tešku kardiomiopatiju, odnosno bolest koje vodi do zatajenja srčanog mišića.

COVID-19 pandemiju, uzrokovanu SARS-Cov-2 virusom iz porodice beta-koronavirusa, prati visoka stopa oboljelih i smrtnosti te nepostojanje specifičnog lijeka i cjepiva za tu bolest. Time su terapije svedene na pokušaje kontrole infekcije raznim antivirusnim lijekovima, sekundarnih bakterijskih infekcija, odgovora organizma i mogućih komplikacija, a kontrola epidemije svedena je na dijagnostiku i mjere izolacije bolesnika i zaraženih osoba, podsjećaju autori.

Zadarski liječnici proveli su kliničko istraživanje prvog terapijskog iskustva liječenja COVID-19 infekcije i u najnovijem broju stručnog časopisa Acta Medica Croatica zaključili da su dobar učinak u različitim fazama infekcije pokazali lijekovi klorokin i tocilizumab.

Analiza se odnosi na prvo razdoblje epidemije, od 10. ožujka do 9. svibnja, kada su na području Zadarske županije ukupno testirane 1983 osobe, od koji je 85 osoba imalo pozitivan nalaz na SARS-Cov-2.

U Općoj bolnici Zadar liječena je 31 osoba, čija je prosječna dob iznosila 62,7 godina. Većina pacijenata, njih 27, za početnu je terapiju uzimala već poznati antimalarik klorokin, a troje bolesnika kombinaciju antivirusnih lijekova lopinavir/ritonavir, stoji u tekstu  Akademije medicinskih znanosti Hrvatske.

Pet bolesnika iz skupine liječenih klorokinom premješteno je u jedinicu intenzivnog liječenja zbog razvoja bolesti i potrebe za mehaničkom ventilacijom. Oni su liječeni drugom antibiotskom terapijom zbog progresije pneumonije. Troje od njih liječeno je tocilizumabom s dobrim terapijskim ishodom u svih, kaže se u tekstu čija je vodeća autorica Vedrana Terkeš. 

Tocilizumab je lijek koji sadrži bjelančevinu specifičnih imunoloških stanica koje blokiraju širenje upalnog procesa.

Prosječno trajanje hospitalizacije iznosilo je 12 dana. Samo jedno liječenje (3 posto) završilo je smrtnim ishodom. Bio je to bolesnik u dobi od 88 godina, koji je imao tešku kardiomiopatiju, odnosno bolest koje vodi do zatajenja srčanog mišića.

COVID-19 pandemiju, uzrokovanu SARS-Cov-2 virusom iz porodice beta-koronavirusa, prati visoka stopa oboljelih i smrtnosti te nepostojanje specifičnog lijeka i cjepiva za tu bolest. Time su terapije svedene na pokušaje kontrole infekcije raznim antivirusnim lijekovima, sekundarnih bakterijskih infekcija, odgovora organizma i mogućih komplikacija, a kontrola epidemije svedena je na dijagnostiku i mjere izolacije bolesnika i zaraženih osoba, podsjećaju autori.

Zadarski liječnici proveli su kliničko istraživanje prvog terapijskog iskustva liječenja COVID-19 infekcije i u najnovijem broju stručnog časopisa Acta Medica Croatica zaključili da su dobar učinak u različitim fazama infekcije pokazali lijekovi klorokin i tocilizumab.

Analiza se odnosi na prvo razdoblje epidemije, od 10. ožujka do 9. svibnja, kada su na području Zadarske županije ukupno testirane 1983 osobe, od koji je 85 osoba imalo pozitivan nalaz na SARS-Cov-2.

U Općoj bolnici Zadar liječena je 31 osoba, čija je prosječna dob iznosila 62,7 godina. Većina pacijenata, njih 27, za početnu je terapiju uzimala već poznati antimalarik klorokin, a troje bolesnika kombinaciju antivirusnih lijekova lopinavir/ritonavir, stoji u tekstu  Akademije medicinskih znanosti...
