Kako upozoravaju u europskoj agenciji za brzo uzbunjivanje u prometu hranom, bakterija listeria monocytogenes otkrivena je u kajmaku porijeklom iz Austrije. Rizik je ozbiljan, ističu, a sve je otkriveno analizom uzoraka koje je obavio proizvođač.

Zemlja prijave je Austrija, a kajmak je distribuiran na tržište Hrvatske. Proizvod vjerojatno više nije na našem tržištu, napominju u europskoj agenciji, piše Danica.hr.

Zbog čega je bakterija listeria monocytogenes potencijalno vrlo opasna? Ona često izaziva infekciju središnjeg živčanog sustava jer ima posebnu sklonost invaziji moždanog tkiva (posebice moždanog debla) te ovojnica mozga.

Može dovesti do paralize moždanih živaca i udova, meningitisa, encefalitisa (upale mozga), ali i smrti. Liječi se specifičnim antibioticima, a liječnici upozoravaju na visoku stopu smrtnosti. Bez obzira na terapiju, ukupna stopa smrtnosti kreće se između 20 i 30 posto, napominju liječnici.

Lani je bilo najmanje šest slučajeva hitnog povlačenja raznih prehrambenih proizvoda zbog kontaminacije tom bakterijom u Hrvatskoj. U pravilu su radilo o ribi (tuna i pastrva) te kobasicama (jeger i češnjovke).

Kako upozoravaju u europskoj agenciji za brzo uzbunjivanje u prometu hranom, bakterija listeria monocytogenes otkrivena je u kajmaku porijeklom iz Austrije. Rizik je ozbiljan, ističu, a sve je otkriveno analizom uzoraka koje je obavio proizvođač.

Zemlja prijave je Austrija, a kajmak je distribuiran na tržište Hrvatske. Proizvod vjerojatno više nije na našem tržištu, napominju u europskoj agenciji, piše Danica.hr.

Zbog čega je bakterija listeria monocytogenes potencijalno vrlo opasna? Ona često izaziva infekciju središnjeg živčanog sustava jer ima posebnu sklonost invaziji moždanog tkiva (posebice moždanog debla) te ovojnica mozga.

Može dovesti do paralize moždanih živaca i udova, meningitisa, encefalitisa (upale mozga), ali i smrti. Liječi se specifičnim antibioticima, a liječnici upozoravaju na visoku stopu smrtnosti. Bez obzira na terapiju, ukupna stopa smrtnosti kreće se između 20 i 30 posto, napominju liječnici.

Lani je bilo najmanje šest slučajeva hitnog povlačenja raznih prehrambenih proizvoda zbog kontaminacije tom bakterijom u Hrvatskoj. U pravilu su radilo o ribi (tuna i pastrva) te kobasicama (jeger i češnjovke).

Kako upozoravaju u europskoj agenciji za brzo uzbunjivanje u prometu hranom, bakterija listeria monocytogenes otkrivena je u kajmaku porijeklom iz Austrije. Rizik je ozbiljan, ističu, a sve je otkriveno analizom uzoraka koje je obavio proizvođač.

Zemlja prijave je Austrija, a kajmak je distribuiran na tržište Hrvatske. Proizvod vjerojatno više nije na našem tržištu, napominju u europskoj agenciji, piše Danica.hr.

Zbog čega je bakterija listeria monocytogenes potencijalno vrlo opasna? Ona često izaziva infekciju središnjeg živčanog sustava jer ima posebnu sklonost invaziji moždanog tkiva (posebice moždanog debla) te ovojnica mozga.
