Znanstvenik Saša Ceci iz Instituta Ruđer Bošković u HTV-ovom Studiju 4 govorio je o epidemiji koronavirusa i novom soju omikron.

Upozorio je kako novi soj može biti opasniji u sustavu gdje oko 30% ljudi nije cijepljeno i gdje javni sustav zdravstva nije baš idealan. Smatra da ljudi u Hrvatskoj nemaju povjerenja u znanost i ne zna zašto je to tako.

Komentirajući najnoviju mutaciju omikron kazao je da je prirodno to što evolucija radi s virusom.

- Virus ima neke prepreke. Kad izmutira, nekad uspije preskočiti te prepreke. Prirodno razmišljanje, na taj osnovnoškolski način je "ako će biti više ljudi cijepljeno onda će to cjepivo biti prepreka za virus, a onda će virus mutirati kod onih koji su cijepljeni". Ta priča je vrlo opasna, jer tako jednostavno i uvjerljivo zvuči. Znanstvenici uporno ponavljaju da to nije tako, jer postoji 11 obveznih cjepiva. Podsjetio je da su ospice jedna od teških bolesti protiv kojih se cijepimo. Jedina epidemija ospica koja je bila je u Italiji, Rumunjskoj i na jugu Hrvatske, i to zato što se ljudi nisu cijepili, dodao je. 

Znanstvenici uporno ponavljaju - cijepite se jer to sprečava probleme s virusima, ali ljudi ne slušaju, napominje. 

- Novi soj ima potencijal da bude opasniji. Može biti opasniji u sustavu gdje oko 30% ljudi nije cijepljeno i gdje javni sustav zdravstva nije baš idealan, istaknuo je. 

Govoreći o novom soju, omikronu, kaže da oni koji se bave virusom propituju je li zarazniji od delta soja, je li klinička slika gora te do koje mjere zaobilazi cjepivo.

- Idealno bi bilo da bude zaraznija od delte, a da bude manje nezgodna za ljude. Moguće je da virus probija cjepivo i da stvara goru kliničku sliku. Moguće je i da više mladih stradava, dodaje.

'Ne zna se kada će završiti pandemija'

Smatra da ljudi u Hrvatskoj nemaju povjerenja u znanost, ali ne može reći zbog čega je to tako. Kao promotor znanosti često je na društvenim mrežama i jedno od najčešćih pitanja ljudi je - kada će završiti pandemija.

- Mi ne možemo znati kada će to završiti. Znanstvenici to već dugo govore, kazao je. 

Većina znanstvenika je pokušala iskreno podijeliti s ljudima situaciju u kojoj se nalazimo. Ne možemo predvidjeti kada će biti kraj pandemije, ali medicinski stručnjaci daju preporuke, napominje Ceci. 

U vezi s obvezom nošenja zaštitne maske opisao je da je ljudima najprije bilo rečeno kako ju trebaju nositi ako imaju respiratorne simptome.

- Kada su znanstvenici otkrili da virus probija nešto ranije i dva dana prije nego što se pojave simptomi, pa čovjek može biti zarazan, preporuka je promijenjena pa se maska trebala nositi i ako dotična osoba nema simptome, rekao je i opisao da su se ljudi počeli čuditi kako to da sad odjednom svi trebaju nositi zaštitnu masku, a prije nekoliko dana rečeno je da se ne moraju. Napominje da je sve u vezi s potrebom nošenja zaštitnih maski objašnjeno ljudima, ali oni jednostavno ne žele čuti. 

Komentirao je i prosvjede u Zagrebu posljednja dva vikenda. 

- To je svjetski fenomen. Kada ljudi povjeruju u neku priču, da će pandemija uskoro završiti, onda dođe znanstvenik pa izjavi da to nije istina. Znanstvenik kaže da ne zna kada će završiti pandemija, ali da se mora napraviti nešto kako bi se tome stalo na kraj. To nešto će nas inkomodirati više ili manje. Nekima od nas će to možda uništiti posao koji smo gradili cijeli život. To je strašno teško, rekao je. 

Napominje da se trebamo zalagati da države pomognu ljudima da se izvuku iz teškoća jer ima mnogo onih koji ne mogu raditi od kuće. 

'Nemojte se zezati, cijepite se'

Govoreći o prijenosu virusa rekao je da "ako je necijepljena osoba bolesna onda ona proizvodi veliku količinu virusa". 

- Najčešće se to događa u domovima, kada djeca zaražena dođu kući iz škole. Čak i ako ste cijepljeni, šansa da se ne zarazite je nikakva. Zato se u mnogim državama toliko i forsira ideja da se cijepe i djeca. U Velikoj Britaniji je hospitalizirano tjedno oko 1000 djece, kaže Ceci. 

Postavljajući si pitanje - zašto zbog starijih osoba koje se neće cijepiti, treba cijepiti djecu, odgovara da bi radije poručio starijima "nemojte se zezati, cijepite se".  Pritom je spomenuo problem rubeole i kazao da nikad nijedno dijete od toga nije umrlo, ali ako je rubeola došla blizu trudnice onda je, kaže, njezin plod stradao.

Rizik cijepljenja je rizik normalnog života, kaže Ceci za HRT te još jednom naglašava da je potrebno cijepiti se.

Znanstvenik Saša Ceci iz Instituta Ruđer Bošković u HTV-ovom Studiju 4 govorio je o epidemiji koronavirusa i novom soju omikron.

Upozorio je kako novi soj može biti opasniji u sustavu gdje oko 30% ljudi nije cijepljeno i gdje javni sustav zdravstva nije baš idealan. Smatra da ljudi u Hrvatskoj nemaju povjerenja u znanost i ne zna zašto je to tako.

Komentirajući najnoviju mutaciju omikron kazao je da je prirodno to što evolucija radi s virusom.

- Virus ima neke prepreke. Kad izmutira, nekad uspije preskočiti te prepreke. Prirodno razmišljanje, na taj osnovnoškolski način je "ako će biti više ljudi cijepljeno onda će to cjepivo biti prepreka za virus, a onda će virus mutirati kod onih koji su cijepljeni". Ta priča je vrlo opasna, jer tako jednostavno i uvjerljivo zvuči. Znanstvenici uporno ponavljaju da to nije tako, jer postoji 11 obveznih cjepiva. Podsjetio je da su ospice jedna od teških bolesti protiv kojih se cijepimo. Jedina epidemija ospica koja je bila je u Italiji, Rumunjskoj i na jugu Hrvatske, i to zato što se ljudi nisu cijepili, dodao je. 

Znanstvenici uporno ponavljaju - cijepite se jer to sprečava probleme s virusima, ali ljudi ne slušaju, napominje. 

- Novi soj ima potencijal da bude opasniji. Može biti opasniji u sustavu gdje oko 30% ljudi nije cijepljeno i gdje javni sustav zdravstva nije baš idealan, istaknuo je. 

Govoreći o novom soju, omikronu, kaže da oni koji se bave virusom propituju je li zarazniji od delta soja, je li klinička slika gora te do koje mjere zaobilazi cjepivo.

- Idealno bi bilo da bude zaraznija od delte, a da bude manje nezgodna za ljude. Moguće je da virus probija cjepivo i da stvara goru kliničku sliku. Moguće je i da više mladih stradava, dodaje.

'Ne zna se kada će završiti pandemija'

Smatra da ljudi u Hrvatskoj nemaju povjerenja u znanost, ali ne može reći zbog čega je to tako. Kao promotor znanosti često je na društvenim mrežama i jedno od najčešćih pitanja ljudi je - kada će završiti pandemija.

- Mi ne možemo znati kada će to završiti. Znanstvenici to već dugo govore, kazao je. 

Većina znanstvenika je pokušala iskreno podijeliti s ljudima situaciju u kojoj se nalazimo. Ne možemo predvidjeti kada će biti kraj pandemije, ali medicinski stručnjaci daju preporuke, napominje Ceci. 

U vezi s obvezom nošenja zaštitne maske opisao je da je ljudima najprije bilo rečeno kako ju trebaju nositi ako imaju respiratorne simptome.

- Kada su znanstvenici otkrili da virus probija nešto ranije i dva dana prije nego što se pojave simptomi, pa čovjek može biti zarazan, preporuka je promijenjena pa se maska trebala nositi i ako dotična osoba nema simptome, rekao je i opisao da su se ljudi počeli čuditi kako to da sad odjednom svi trebaju nositi zaštitnu masku, a prije nekoliko dana rečeno je da se ne moraju. Napominje da je sve u vezi s potrebom nošenja zaštitnih maski objašnjeno ljudima, ali oni jednostavno ne žele čuti. 

Komentirao je i prosvjede u Zagrebu posljednja dva vikenda. 

- To je svjetski fenomen. Kada ljudi povjeruju u neku priču, da će pandemija uskoro završiti, onda dođe znanstvenik pa izjavi da to nije istina. Znanstvenik kaže da ne zna kada će završiti pandemija, ali da se mora napraviti nešto kako bi se tome stalo na kraj. To nešto će nas inkomodirati više ili manje. Nekima od nas će to možda uništiti posao koji smo gradili cijeli život. To je strašno teško, rekao je. 

Napominje da se trebamo zalagati da države pomognu ljudima da se izvuku iz teškoća jer ima mnogo onih koji ne mogu raditi od kuće. 

'Nemojte se zezati, cijepite se'

Govoreći o prijenosu virusa rekao je da "ako je necijepljena osoba bolesna onda ona proizvodi veliku količinu virusa". 

- Najčešće se to događa u domovima, kada djeca zaražena dođu kući iz škole. Čak i ako ste cijepljeni, šansa da se ne zarazite je nikakva. Zato se u mnogim državama toliko i forsira ideja da se cijepe i djeca. U Velikoj Britaniji je hospitalizirano tjedno oko 1000 djece, kaže Ceci. 

Postavljajući si pitanje - zašto zbog starijih osoba koje se neće cijepiti, treba cijepiti djecu, odgovara da bi radije poručio starijima "nemojte se zezati, cijepite se".  Pritom je spomenuo problem rubeole i kazao da nikad nijedno dijete od toga nije umrlo, ali ako je rubeola došla blizu trudnice onda je, kaže, njezin plod stradao.

Rizik cijepljenja je rizik normalnog života, kaže Ceci za HRT te još jednom naglašava da je potrebno cijepiti se.

Znanstvenik Saša Ceci iz Instituta Ruđer Bošković u HTV-ovom Studiju 4 govorio je o epidemiji koronavirusa i novom soju omikron.

Upozorio je kako novi soj može biti opasniji u sustavu gdje oko 30% ljudi nije cijepljeno i gdje javni sustav zdravstva nije baš idealan. Smatra da ljudi u Hrvatskoj nemaju povjerenja u znanost i ne zna zašto je to tako.

Komentirajući najnoviju mutaciju omikron kazao je da je prirodno to što evolucija radi s virusom.

- Virus ima neke prepreke. Kad izmutira, nekad uspije preskočiti te prepreke. Prirodno razmišljanje, na taj osnovnoškolski način je "ako će biti više ljudi cijepljeno onda će to cjepivo biti prepreka za virus, a onda će virus mutirati kod onih koji su cijepljeni". Ta priča je vrlo opasna, jer tako jednostavno i uvjerljivo zvuči. Znanstvenici...
