Kad je onomad bilo rečeno kako bi Rusi mogli izazvati nuklearni rat, treći svjetski i zadnji, navala na tablete s jodom bila je tolika da je dovela do nestašice joda. Bez da je itko u životu vidio jod, a kamoli ga probao.
Narod je čuo da jod štiti od posljedica radijacije pa je počeo gomilati zalihe. A kad narod nešto čuje, onda možete biti sigurni da ništa drugo ne sluša. Recimo, stručnjake za nuklearnu energiju. Poput Tončija Tadića s Instituta “Ruđer Bošković”.

– Ako nuklearni rat bude obavljen onako kako Bog zapovijeda, nikakav nam jod neće pomoći – u šaljivom tonu sasvim ozbiljno je poručivao Tadić.
Da na neku zemlju, pojašnjavao je Tadić, padne atomska bomba, četiri kilometra od mjesta pada ljudi više neće postojati, bit će kao da ih nikad nije ni bilo, ni njih ni njihove civilizacije, a u radijusu do 200 kilometara, ovisno o visini eksplozije, neće raditi ni automobili ni mobiteli.
Grozno, ali je tako. I u školi smo o tome učili. A učili smo i o zaštitnim odijelima. Navučeš ih – potraje to, ali se može – malo se sporije krećeš, smiješan si, rugaju ti se oni što ih nemaju i što ne vjeruju u ništa što čuju, ali si – zaboli te za budale – siguran. Moraš paziti samo na špiodice i kaktuse.
U Hrvatskoj se dosta tvrtki bavi proizvodnjom i distribucijom zaštitne odjeće. Uglavnom je riječ o odjeći za vatrogasce i bauštelce. Protiv nuklearnog rata na njihovim policama teško je išta naći. Bilo je, kaže nam direktor prodaje u jednoj riječkoj tvrtki, upita kad je Rusija tek napala Ukrajinu, ali je na upitima sve i ostalo.
Valjda su ljudi malo proguglali. Pa su shvatili da im nema smisla kupovati protunuklearne skafandere kad im je jeftinije kupiti jod. Ili se skriti iza četiri metra debelog zida. A ako ni to ne upali, tu je uvijek Hrvatska vojska koja ima svoje dobro obučene ABKO postrojbe. Atomsko-biološko-kemijska obrana je to i nema te radioaktivne čestice koja joj može pobjeći.

Najubojiti protuotrov
Autor ovoga teksta dobro zna o čemu govori jer je i sam bio njezin dio. Danima smo na Borongaju prali nikad upaljena vozila za dekontaminaciju. I davili se pod neispravnim gas maskama. Razapinjali šatore sa zahrđalim tuševima. Bacali se desno kad bismo čuli “atomski zdesna” i lijevo kad bismo čuli “atomski slijeva”. Kolektivno ginuli. Pa sutra iznova.
I o bojnim otrovima smo isto tako sve znali. I o dozatorima. I o snazi nuklearnog udara. Jer, rečeno nam je, mi smo ti u koje će sve oči biti uprte kad neprijatelj detonira prvu bombu. Mi moramo izračunati njezinu ubojitost. Prije nego nas sprži.
Jod, iskreno, nitko nije spominjao. Za razliku od zaštitnih odijela. U njima je bila sva naša snaga. I znoj. Kao najubojitiji protuotrov.

Kad je onomad bilo rečeno kako bi Rusi mogli izazvati nuklearni rat, treći svjetski i zadnji, navala na tablete s jodom bila je tolika da je dovela do nestašice joda. Bez da je itko u životu vidio jod, a kamoli ga probao.
Narod je čuo da jod štiti od posljedica radijacije pa je počeo gomilati zalihe. A kad narod nešto čuje, onda možete biti sigurni da ništa drugo ne sluša. Recimo, stručnjake za nuklearnu energiju. Poput Tončija Tadića s Instituta “Ruđer Bošković”.
Zaboli te za budale...
– Ako nuklearni rat bude obavljen onako kako Bog zapovijeda, nikakav nam jod neće pomoći – u šaljivom tonu sasvim ozbiljno je poručivao Tadić.
Da na neku zemlju, pojašnjavao je Tadić, padne atomska bomba, četiri kilometra od mjesta pada ljudi više neće postojati, bit će kao da ih nikad nije ni bilo, ni njih ni njihove civilizacije, a u radijusu do 200 kilometara, ovisno o visini eksplozije, neće raditi ni automobili ni mobiteli.
Grozno, ali je tako. I u školi smo o tome učili. A učili smo i o zaštitnim odijelima. Navučeš ih – potraje to, ali se može – malo se sporije krećeš, smiješan si, rugaju ti se oni što ih nemaju i što ne vjeruju u ništa što čuju, ali si – zaboli te za budale – siguran. Moraš paziti samo na špiodice i kaktuse.
U Hrvatskoj se dosta tvrtki bavi proizvodnjom i distribucijom zaštitne odjeće. Uglavnom je riječ o odjeći za vatrogasce i bauštelce. Protiv nuklearnog rata na njihovim policama teško je išta naći. Bilo je, kaže nam direktor prodaje u jednoj riječkoj tvrtki, upita kad je Rusija tek napala Ukrajinu, ali je na upitima sve i ostalo.
Valjda su ljudi malo proguglali. Pa su shvatili da im nema smisla kupovati protunuklearne skafandere kad im je jeftinije kupiti jod. Ili se skriti iza četiri metra debelog zida. A ako ni to ne upali, tu je uvijek Hrvatska vojska koja ima svoje dobro obučene ABKO postrojbe. Atomsko-biološko-kemijska obrana je to i nema te radioaktivne čestice koja joj može pobjeći.

Autor ovoga teksta dobro zna o čemu govori jer je i sam bio njezin dio. Danima smo na Borongaju prali nikad upaljena vozila za dekontaminaciju. I davili se pod neispravnim gas maskama. Razapinjali šatore sa zahrđalim tuševima. Bacali se desno kad bismo čuli “atomski zdesna” i lijevo kad bismo čuli “atomski slijeva”. Kolektivno ginuli. Pa sutra iznova.
I o bojnim otrovima smo isto tako sve znali. I o dozatorima. I o snazi nuklearnog udara. Jer, rečeno nam je, mi smo ti u koje će sve oči biti uprte kad neprijatelj detonira prvu bombu. Mi moramo izračunati njezinu ubojitost. Prije nego nas sprži.
Jod, iskreno, nitko nije spominjao. Za razliku od zaštitnih odijela. U njima je bila sva naša snaga. I znoj. Kao najubojitiji protuotrov.
