- Imamo dvije tisuće mrtvih na milijun stanovnika, što je svjetski vrh. Njemačka ima tisuću mrtvih, Finska 406, a Švedska, koja nije poduzimala mjere - 1400 - rekao je jučer predsjednik Zoran Milanović i pozvao stručnjake da mu odgovore zašto je to tako.

Milanović je u ovom slučaju u pravu, jer je u Hrvatskoj od početka epidemije, uz ili od koronavirusa, do jučer preminulo 8162 ljudi, što nas, s obzirom na broj stanovnika, stavlja na 21. mjesto EU prema smrtnosti, piše Jutarnji.

Bolest se raširila

Više umrlih na milijun stanovnika imaju Mađarska, Češka, Bugarska, Slovačka, Belgija, Slovenija i Italija. Broj preminulih svakim je danom sve manji, a jučer je Nacionalni stožer civilne zaštite izvijestio o dva smrtna slučaja, što je uzročno-posljedično povezano i s padom broja zaraženih. Ipak, zimski val odnio je gotovo pet tisuća života.

Više članova Znanstvenog vijeća Vlade kazalo je da su glavni razlog te crne statistike zakasnjele mjere u zimskom valu. Podsjećaju nas da su poslali i otvoreno pismo u kojem su tražili strože mjere, koje nikako nisu uključivale strogi lockdown, nego mjere koje su nas, kažu nam, kad su donesene, izvukle iz loše situacije.

- Mišljenja sam da su mjere zakasnile tri do četiri tjedna. Na žalost, kada su uvedene, bolest je već bila previše raširena, a znamo i sami da će od velikog broja zaraženih dio biti hospitaliziran, a dio će, nažalost, preminuti - kaže epidemiolog Branko Kolarić. Sličnog mišljenja je i Ozren Polašek s Medicinskog fakulteta u Splitu, koji kaže da je dojma kako su općenito zemlje istočnog bloka imale veću smrtnost.

- Istina je da su mjere trebale biti uvedene ranije, ali odgovornost je na svima nama. Nezahvalno je konstantno se ponavljati, ali mislim da smo nakon gotovo godinu i pol dana naučili kako se virus širi i kakve posljedice može imati - kaže Polašek. Smatra i da se ne smijemo opustiti, jer ćemo na jesen imati isti scenarij.

Pogrešne poruke

- Udio cijepljenih od 50 posto nije dovoljan, i to ne znači da bi epidemija bila 50 posto manja. Opasnost je tu, a izgubljenih preko osam tisuća života govori koliko je situacija ozbiljna - napominje. I drugi članovi Znanstvenog savjeta, koje smo kontaktirali, govorili su o zakasnjelim mjerama, ali nisu bili voljni to reći imenom i prezimenom, jer kažu da su sve rekli u Otvorenom pismu u studenom, nakon čega su imali probleme.

Tada su, podsjetimo, tražili da se uvedu mjere dok još brojevi nisu eskalirali, a kažu nam i da je bilo pogrešnih poruka, poput kolone sjećanja u Vukovaru.

- Imamo dvije tisuće mrtvih na milijun stanovnika, što je svjetski vrh. Njemačka ima tisuću mrtvih, Finska 406, a Švedska, koja nije poduzimala mjere - 1400 - rekao je jučer predsjednik Zoran Milanović i pozvao stručnjake da mu odgovore zašto je to tako.

Milanović je u ovom slučaju u pravu, jer je u Hrvatskoj od početka epidemije, uz ili od koronavirusa, do jučer preminulo 8162 ljudi, što nas, s obzirom na broj stanovnika, stavlja na 21. mjesto EU prema smrtnosti, piše Jutarnji.

Bolest se raširila

Više umrlih na milijun stanovnika imaju Mađarska, Češka, Bugarska, Slovačka, Belgija, Slovenija i Italija. Broj preminulih svakim je danom sve manji, a jučer je Nacionalni stožer civilne zaštite izvijestio o dva smrtna slučaja, što je uzročno-posljedično povezano i s padom broja zaraženih. Ipak, zimski val odnio je gotovo pet tisuća života.

Više članova Znanstvenog vijeća Vlade kazalo je da su glavni razlog te crne statistike zakasnjele mjere u zimskom valu. Podsjećaju nas da su poslali i otvoreno pismo u kojem su tražili strože mjere, koje nikako nisu uključivale strogi lockdown, nego mjere koje su nas, kažu nam, kad su donesene, izvukle iz loše situacije.

- Mišljenja sam da su mjere zakasnile tri do četiri tjedna. Na žalost, kada su uvedene, bolest je već bila previše raširena, a znamo i sami da će od velikog broja zaraženih dio biti hospitaliziran, a dio će, nažalost, preminuti - kaže epidemiolog Branko Kolarić. Sličnog mišljenja je i Ozren Polašek s Medicinskog fakulteta u Splitu, koji kaže da je dojma kako su općenito zemlje istočnog bloka imale veću smrtnost.

- Istina je da su mjere trebale biti uvedene ranije, ali odgovornost je na svima nama. Nezahvalno je konstantno se ponavljati, ali mislim da smo nakon gotovo godinu i pol dana naučili kako se virus širi i kakve posljedice može imati - kaže Polašek. Smatra i da se ne smijemo opustiti, jer ćemo na jesen imati isti scenarij.

Pogrešne poruke

- Udio cijepljenih od 50 posto nije dovoljan, i to ne znači da bi epidemija bila 50 posto manja. Opasnost je tu, a izgubljenih preko osam tisuća života govori koliko je situacija ozbiljna - napominje. I drugi članovi Znanstvenog savjeta, koje smo kontaktirali, govorili su o zakasnjelim mjerama, ali nisu bili voljni to reći imenom i prezimenom, jer kažu da su sve rekli u Otvorenom pismu u studenom, nakon čega su imali probleme.

Tada su, podsjetimo, tražili da se uvedu mjere dok još brojevi nisu eskalirali, a kažu nam i da je bilo pogrešnih poruka, poput kolone sjećanja u Vukovaru.

- Imamo dvije tisuće mrtvih na milijun stanovnika, što je svjetski vrh. Njemačka ima tisuću mrtvih, Finska 406, a Švedska, koja nije poduzimala mjere - 1400 - rekao je jučer predsjednik Zoran Milanović i pozvao stručnjake da mu odgovore zašto je to tako.

Milanović je u ovom slučaju u pravu, jer je u Hrvatskoj od početka epidemije, uz ili od koronavirusa, do jučer preminulo 8162 ljudi, što nas, s obzirom na broj stanovnika, stavlja na 21. mjesto EU prema smrtnosti, piše Jutarnji.

Bolest se raširila
