Iako pritisak na bolnički sustav polako popušta, u jedinicama intenzivnog liječenja nema predaha. Osim brige za pacijente na respiratorima, liječnici i sestre pomažu i onima koji su imali sreću i uspjeli se izboriti za život, da u procesu oporavka ponovno nauče govoriti i kretati se. Za vrijeme boravka ekipe HTV-a u jedinici intenzivnog liječenja bolnice Sveti Duh, s darovima u znak zahvale medicinskom osoblju došao je pacijent koji je ondje boravio prije točno godinu dana.
Velimir Brglez je prije godinu dana ležao u ovoj jedinici intenzivnog liječenja, prije toga bio je 28 dana na respiratoru i uređaju ECMO u Klinici za infektivne bolesti.
- Želim ovo uručiti za cijeli odjel. Puno hvala vama. Ovo je moj kum slikao i molio me da pomognem nekome tko mi je najviše pomagao. Probudio se na ovom odjelu točno prije godinu dana. Sestre su me polako uvele kako bih uopće shvatio gdje sam. Na staru godinu su me otpustili. Imao sam 85 kg, a moja težina je nekih 120 do 125 kg bila. Sve zdravstevne probleme koji su bili - oni su to posložili, prisjeća se Velimir.
- Evo iskreno ja sam se sva naježila sad kad sam ga vidjela na nogama, ovako popunjenog. Jer nam pacijenti dolaze izrazito kahetični - ne znaju gdje su, što se dogodilo, kaže medicinska sestra Zdenka Grilec.
- Iznenadite se kad liječite pacijente koji su puno mlađi od vas i kad za razliku od onog prošlog i pretprošlog vala kada smo pričali s muževima i ženama i drugim članovima obitelji sad razgovaramo s roditeljima i dajemo im informacije o njihovoj djeci koja tu leže". Uz to, dodaje - ima jako puno trudnica.
- Moramo ih prvo odvojiti od aparata za disanje što je vrlo mukotrpan i težak proces. Moramo ih učiti jesti, govoriti, micati se, dodaje Nikolina Marić. Za pokrete su zaduženi fizioterapeuti. Sve to ide u etapama, napominje fizioterapeut Andrija Poljak. Cilj je dovesti pacijente 'u vertikalu' - da mogu sjesti, ustati i hodati.

Iako pritisak na bolnički sustav polako popušta, u jedinicama intenzivnog liječenja nema predaha. Osim brige za pacijente na respiratorima, liječnici i sestre pomažu i onima koji su imali sreću i uspjeli se izboriti za život, da u procesu oporavka ponovno nauče govoriti i kretati se. Za vrijeme boravka ekipe HTV-a u jedinici intenzivnog liječenja bolnice Sveti Duh, s darovima u znak zahvale medicinskom osoblju došao je pacijent koji je ondje boravio prije točno godinu dana.
Velimir Brglez je prije godinu dana ležao u ovoj jedinici intenzivnog liječenja, prije toga bio je 28 dana na respiratoru i uređaju ECMO u Klinici za infektivne bolesti.
- Želim ovo uručiti za cijeli odjel. Puno hvala vama. Ovo je moj kum slikao i molio me da pomognem nekome tko mi je najviše pomagao. Probudio se na ovom odjelu točno prije godinu dana. Sestre su me polako uvele kako bih uopće shvatio gdje sam. Na staru godinu su me otpustili. Imao sam 85 kg, a moja težina je nekih 120 do 125 kg bila. Sve zdravstevne probleme koji su bili - oni su to posložili, prisjeća se Velimir.
- Evo iskreno ja sam se sva naježila sad kad sam ga vidjela na nogama, ovako popunjenog. Jer nam pacijenti dolaze izrazito kahetični - ne znaju gdje su, što se dogodilo, kaže medicinska sestra Zdenka Grilec.
- Iznenadite se kad liječite pacijente koji su puno mlađi od vas i kad za razliku od onog prošlog i pretprošlog vala kada smo pričali s muževima i ženama i drugim članovima obitelji sad razgovaramo s roditeljima i dajemo im informacije o njihovoj djeci koja tu leže". Uz to, dodaje - ima jako puno trudnica.
- Moramo ih prvo odvojiti od aparata za disanje što je vrlo mukotrpan i težak proces. Moramo ih učiti jesti, govoriti, micati se, dodaje Nikolina Marić. Za pokrete su zaduženi fizioterapeuti. Sve to ide u etapama, napominje fizioterapeut Andrija Poljak. Cilj je dovesti pacijente 'u vertikalu' - da mogu sjesti, ustati i hodati.
