Virusni imunolog Stipan Jonjić komentirao je u srijedu skok broja novozaraženih u Hrvatskoj, od jučer gotovo dvostruko, istaknuvši da je više razloga dovelo do povećanja novooboljelih, no ipak je najveći razlog dolazak novih varijanti virusa.

U našoj zemlji danas su evidentirana 962 nova slučaja zaraze koronavirusom, dok ih je u utorak bilo 491. Uz taj skok od jučer povećanje novovoljelih od covida-19 je na tjednoj razini od čak 25 posto.

Virusni imunolog Jonjić u središnjem Dnevniku HTV-a rekao je da je najveći razlog povećanja novooboljelih dolazak novih varijanti virusa.

"Oni imaju drugačije osobine. Znamo da se britanski soj brže širi, a osim toga izaziva i teži oblik bolesti, pa čak i smrtnost kod starijih osoba i osoba s komorbiditetom", istaknuo je. Dodaje da tako nešto možemo očekivati i kod drugih varijanti.

Istaknuo je da virus 'izbjegava imunološki nadzor', a 'sreća u nesreći' je što znamo koje su mjere efikasne protiv svih varijanti.

"To su mjere koje smo do sad imali i koje su bile efikasne. Ako se nastavi porast morat ćemo o tome opet razmišljati agresivnije, jer ako se to ne napravi, bojim se da ćemo u idućim tjednima ući u žešću pandemiju", procijenio je.

Osvrnuo se i na cijepljenje, koje ne ide onako brzo kako se očekivalo, naglasivši da su cjepiva, iako ne dolaze obećanom dinamikom, jedini izlaz iz ove krize.

"Možda se nećemo kod novih varijanti zaštititi ovim cjepivom, ali ćemo se vjerojatno zaštiti od teških oblika bolesti i smrtnosti", kazao je.

Virusni imunolog Jonjić komentirao je i visoku procijepljenost u Mađarskoj i Srbiji, a unatoč tome broj novooboljelih im raste.

"Mađarska i Srbija nemaju visoku procijepljenost koja bi jamčila kolektivni imunitet. Mi i ne znamo koji je prag za 'imunitet krda', vjerojatno 80 posto i više. Ovaj virus je vrlo zarazan i to što Srbija ima 10-ak posto procijepljenih ne znači da ona ne može imati ekspanziju epidemije", procijenio je.

Upitan bi li rješenje bilo da se svi procijepe jednom dozom, a onda čekaju drugu, Jonjić je rekao kako smatra da bi to bilo idealno za ljude koji su preboljeli covid.

Na taj način s tom jednom dozom revitalizirali bi imunost koju smo stekli tijekom infekcije, i to bi, kaže, trebalo biti dostatno. "Ne vidim potrebu da ljudi koji su preboljeli covid dobiju drugu dozu, ali o tome ne odlučujem ja. Ali smatram da na taj način možemo uštedjeti znatnu količinu cjepiva", rekao je Jonjić.

Dodao je kako je upitan značaj druge doze u mnogim aspektima.

"Znamo da ona povećava kvalitetu i intenzitet odgovora, ali ona može biti infekcija koju neželjeno steknemo. Najbolje bi bilo da dođe dovoljno cjepiva da možemo procijepiti građane, ali ako ne dođe, treba ozbiljno razmišljati da idemo s jednom dozom, a kada dođu bolja vremena onda nastaviti s drugom dozom", rekao je.

No, naglasio je kako nije protiv druge doze, ali da misli kako ju možemo rastegnuti.

Virusni imunolog Stipan Jonjić komentirao je u srijedu skok broja novozaraženih u Hrvatskoj, od jučer gotovo dvostruko, istaknuvši da je više razloga dovelo do povećanja novooboljelih, no ipak je najveći razlog dolazak novih varijanti virusa.

U našoj zemlji danas su evidentirana 962 nova slučaja zaraze koronavirusom, dok ih je u utorak bilo 491. Uz taj skok od jučer povećanje novovoljelih od covida-19 je na tjednoj razini od čak 25 posto.

Virusni imunolog Jonjić u središnjem Dnevniku HTV-a rekao je da je najveći razlog povećanja novooboljelih dolazak novih varijanti virusa.

"Oni imaju drugačije osobine. Znamo da se britanski soj brže širi, a osim toga izaziva i teži oblik bolesti, pa čak i smrtnost kod starijih osoba i osoba s komorbiditetom", istaknuo je. Dodaje da tako nešto možemo očekivati i kod drugih varijanti.

Istaknuo je da virus 'izbjegava imunološki nadzor', a 'sreća u nesreći' je što znamo koje su mjere efikasne protiv svih varijanti.

"To su mjere koje smo do sad imali i koje su bile efikasne. Ako se nastavi porast morat ćemo o tome opet razmišljati agresivnije, jer ako se to ne napravi, bojim se da ćemo u idućim tjednima ući u žešću pandemiju", procijenio je.

Osvrnuo se i na cijepljenje, koje ne ide onako brzo kako se očekivalo, naglasivši da su cjepiva, iako ne dolaze obećanom dinamikom, jedini izlaz iz ove krize.

"Možda se nećemo kod novih varijanti zaštititi ovim cjepivom, ali ćemo se vjerojatno zaštiti od teških oblika bolesti i smrtnosti", kazao je.

Virusni imunolog Jonjić komentirao je i visoku procijepljenost u Mađarskoj i Srbiji, a unatoč tome broj novooboljelih im raste.

"Mađarska i Srbija nemaju visoku procijepljenost koja bi jamčila kolektivni imunitet. Mi i ne znamo koji je prag za 'imunitet krda', vjerojatno 80 posto i više. Ovaj virus je vrlo zarazan i to što Srbija ima 10-ak posto procijepljenih ne znači da ona ne može imati ekspanziju epidemije", procijenio je.

Upitan bi li rješenje bilo da se svi procijepe jednom dozom, a onda čekaju drugu, Jonjić je rekao kako smatra da bi to bilo idealno za ljude koji su preboljeli covid.

Na taj način s tom jednom dozom revitalizirali bi imunost koju smo stekli tijekom infekcije, i to bi, kaže, trebalo biti dostatno. "Ne vidim potrebu da ljudi koji su preboljeli covid dobiju drugu dozu, ali o tome ne odlučujem ja. Ali smatram da na taj način možemo uštedjeti znatnu količinu cjepiva", rekao je Jonjić.

Dodao je kako je upitan značaj druge doze u mnogim aspektima.

"Znamo da ona povećava kvalitetu i intenzitet odgovora, ali ona može biti infekcija koju neželjeno steknemo. Virusni imunolog Stipan Jonjić komentirao je u srijedu skok broja novozaraženih u Hrvatskoj, od jučer gotovo dvostruko, istaknuvši da je više razloga dovelo do povećanja novooboljelih, no ipak je najveći razlog dolazak novih varijanti virusa.

U našoj zemlji danas su evidentirana 962 nova slučaja zaraze koronavirusom, dok ih je u utorak bilo 491. Uz taj skok od jučer povećanje novovoljelih od covida-19 je na tjednoj razini od čak 25 posto.

Virusni imunolog Jonjić u središnjem Dnevniku HTV-a rekao je da je najveći razlog povećanja novooboljelih dolazak novih varijanti virusa.

"Oni imaju drugačije osobine. Znamo da se britanski soj brže širi, a osim toga izaziva i teži oblik bolesti, pa čak i smrtnost kod starijih osoba i osoba s komorbiditetom", istaknuo je. Dodaje da tako ne...
