Kad je ono prošle godine ministar Vili Beroš poručio trudnici kojoj u Zagrebu nitko nije htio obaviti prekid trudnoće premda je nosila plod s nepopravljivim malformacijama, te kad je rekao da bi stvar bila ubrzana "samo da se javila njemu", mislili smo da je to vrhunac licemjerja.

No nije! Najnoviji skandal tiče se odvjetnice kojoj je ključni nalaz koji dokazuje da ima karcinom dojke kasnio sedam mjeseci. Sedam mjeseci je žena živjela u lažnom uvjerenju da je zdrava, odnosno da "to nešto" što nosi u sebi nije zloćudno. Kad je shvatila i kad je digla frku, Beroš je zaključio da ona "možda ima neke druge motive". Ne daj bože da će se javno ispričati, priznati propust, prihvatiti odgovornost, pokazati ljudsko lice.

Ljudsko lice je pokazao liječnik u Njemačkoj koji je za pacijenticu izdvojio više od sat svoga vremena prije negoli je obavio operaciju. Ta gesta, toliko normalna i humana, međutim, našeg je zamjenika ravnatelja prozvane zagrebačke bolnice nagnala da ustvrdi da takvom kirurgu treba dati otkaz.

On bi mu dao otkaz, rekao je rečeni zamjenik ravnatelja, i ne znajući da je upravo ta njegova teza ključna u svim nebulozama koje se s vremena na vrijeme preliju u javnost. U nas human odnos prema pacijentu nije sustavno i protokolima zajamčen, humanost i dobra komunikacija s pacijentima koji, po logici stvari, nisu objektivni niti to mogu biti, to je kod nas osobni izbor svakog liječnika i svake medicinske sestre.

Dakako, brojni medicinari tu humanost i pokazuju, brojni u komunikaciji s ljudima pokazuju i suosjećanje i razumijevanje i strpljenje. No čine to po vlastitom izboru i po logici svoga vlastitog ljudskog i profesionalnog ustroja, a ne zato što se to od njih traži.

No dugogodišnje korumpiranje i zdravstva i čitavog društva donosi sve bolesnije plodove. Sustav je to u kojem politički pobjednici dobivaju pravo da na mjesta u bolnicama, u javnim poduzećima, u javnim službama, u školama, vrtićima, u vodovodu, HEP-u, posvuda, postavljaju svoje direktore.

Potom direktori postavljaju svoje zamjenike, svoje predstojnike, svoje voditelje odjela, svoje referente, svoje portire i domare, svoje čistačice i čitav sustav počiva na klijentelizmu koji "ja tebi, ti meni" uništava sve. To je sustav u kojem treba svuda imati svoga čovjeka jer si inače izgubljen, a u zdravstvu je takav sustav pogibeljan jer doslovno golemom broju ljudi radi o glavi.

No ova trpeća nacija koja evidentno trpi na tu vrstu korupcije, pristaje i na bijedne standarde. Zašto? Toliko puta smo se svi pokazali kao potpuni naivci kad god smo povjerovali da je društvo konačno iznjedrilo bolju i zdraviju političku opciju koja je spremna stvari korjenito mijenjati.

Aktualna epizoda bivšeg čelnika Živog zida koji je odletio do Zambije samo da jednu osobu bolesno denuncira kao seksualno nepoćudnu, govori o našim zabludama.

Živi zid je 2016. godine osvojio 117.208 glasova i osam mandata u Saboru. Ni ostali se nisu pokazali znatno boljima. No sve naše zablude prolaze, samo duboko i sve dublje beznađe ostaje. Tako to i mora biti u zemlji u kojoj su čak i liječnička humanost i suosjećanje razlog – za otkaz.

Kad je ono prošle godine ministar Vili Beroš poručio trudnici kojoj u Zagrebu nitko nije htio obaviti prekid trudnoće premda je nosila plod s nepopravljivim malformacijama, te kad je rekao da bi stvar bila ubrzana "samo da se javila njemu", mislili smo da je to vrhunac licemjerja.

No nije! Najnoviji skandal tiče se odvjetnice kojoj je ključni nalaz koji dokazuje da ima karcinom dojke kasnio sedam mjeseci. Sedam mjeseci je žena živjela u lažnom uvjerenju da je zdrava, odnosno da "to nešto" što nosi u sebi nije zloćudno. Kad je shvatila i kad je digla frku, Beroš je zaključio da ona "možda ima neke druge motive". Ne daj bože da će se javno ispričati, priznati propust, prihvatiti odgovornost, pokazati ljudsko lice.

Ljudsko lice je pokazao liječnik u Njemačkoj koji je za pacijenticu izdvojio više od sat svoga vremena prije negoli je obavio operaciju. Ta gesta, toliko normalna i humana, međutim, našeg je zamjenika ravnatelja prozvane zagrebačke bolnice nagnala da ustvrdi da takvom kirurgu treba dati otkaz.

On bi mu dao otkaz, rekao je rečeni zamjenik ravnatelja, i ne znajući da je upravo ta njegova teza ključna u svim nebulozama koje se s vremena na vrijeme preliju u javnost. U nas human odnos prema pacijentu nije sustavno i protokolima zajamčen, humanost i dobra komunikacija s pacijentima koji, po logici stvari, nisu objektivni niti to mogu biti, to je kod nas osobni izbor svakog liječnika i svake medicinske sestre.

Dakako, brojni medicinari tu humanost i pokazuju, brojni u komunikaciji s ljudima pokazuju i suosjećanje i razumijevanje i strpljenje. No čine to po vlastitom izboru i po logici svoga vlastitog ljudskog i profesionalnog ustroja, a ne zato što se to od njih traži.

No dugogodišnje korumpiranje i zdravstva i čitavog društva donosi sve bolesnije plodove. Sustav je to u kojem politički pobjednici dobivaju pravo da na mjesta u bolnicama, u javnim poduzećima, u javnim službama, u školama, vrtićima, u vodovodu, HEP-u, posvuda, postavljaju svoje direktore.

Potom direktori postavljaju svoje zamjenike, svoje predstojnike, svoje voditelje odjela, svoje referente, svoje portire i domare, svoje čistačice i čitav sustav počiva na klijentelizmu koji "ja tebi, ti meni" uništava sve. To je sustav u kojem treba svuda imati svoga čovjeka jer si inače izgubljen, a u zdravstvu je takav sustav pogibeljan jer doslovno golemom broju ljudi radi o glavi.

No ova trpeća nacija koja evidentno trpi na tu vrstu korupcije, pristaje i na bijedne standarde. Zašto? Toliko puta smo se svi pokazali kao potpuni naivci kad god smo povjerovali da je društvo konačno iznjedrilo bolju i zdraviju političku opciju koja je spremna stvari korjenito mijenjati.

Aktualna epizoda bivšeg čelnika Živog zida koji je odletio do Zambije samo da jednu osobu bolesno denuncira kao seksualno nepoćudnu, govori o našim zabludama.

Živi zid je 2016. godine osvojio 117.208 glasova i osam mandata u Saboru. Ni ostali se nisu pokazali znatno boljima. No sve naše zablude prolaze, samo duboko i sve dublje beznađe ostaje. Tako to i mora biti u zemlji u kojoj su čak i liječnička humanost i suosjećanje razlog – za otkaz.
