Velika razlika u odnosu na zimu i drugi pandemijski val jest i u tome što trenutačno imamo znatno više mlađih ljudi sa težim simptomima koronavirusa. U nedjelju je u Zagrebu preminuo  dvadesettrogodišnji mladić koji se liječio u KB Dubravi, a u petak je na konfereniciji Nacionalnog stožera objavljeno kako je od COVID-a umrla ženska osoba koja je također imala 23 godine. 

Preminuli mladić nije imao ni jednu drugu prateću bolest osim COVID--a. Odjeli u Dubravi su puni četrdesetogodišnjaka i pedesetogodišnjaka koji zahtijevaju terapiju visokim dozama kisika.

''U ovom valu u bolnici su nam hospitalizirani puno mlađi ljudi. Prije smo uglavnom imali pacijente od 70 i 80 godina, a sad imamo i tridesetogodišnjake. Također u odnosu na prije, puno je kraće vrijeme od prvih simptoma COVID-a do prijema u bolnicu'', potvrdio je i anesteziolog dr. Nikola Bradić iz KB-a Dubrava. 

Epidemiolog prof. dr. Branko Kolarić, član Znanstvenog savjeta za borbu protiv pandemije koronavirusa Vlade RH kaže nam kako je nesrazmjeran porast slučajeva među mlađima posljedica kombinacije nekoliko stvari.

Prvo, činjenica je da su stariji od 80 godina koji su izloženi najvećem riziku od hospitalizacija i smrti od COVID-a u domovima, procijepljeni, te da se stariji općenito više cijepe i stoga su dobro zaštićeni od korone.

Prosječna dob preminulih osoba u Hrvatskoj od posljedica koronavirusa bila je iznad 76 godina, a sad je u toj dobnoj skupini visoka procijepljenost. Isto tako, oni stariji, koji nisu još cijepljeni puno su oprezniji i striktnije se drže propisanih epidemioloških mjera nego mlađi koji misle da im se ne može ništa dogoditi jer su mladi i zdravi. Zabave su željni i virus im nije prvi prioritet.

Pokretniji su i aktivniji, što je također razlog zašto je povećani udio i broj slučajeva u ovim skupinama.  

Sva istraživanja pokazala su naime, da se britanski soj virusa koji je zadominirao i Hrvatskom i ostatkom svijeta, lakše prenosi – što znači da je sada veći rizik od zaraze koronavirusom zbog aktivnosti za koje se prije smatralo da su prilično sigurne.

„Osim što je zarazniji pa se brže širi, soj B.1.1.7 je i virulentniji, što znači da uzrokuje ozbiljniju bolest, pa mnogi završavaju u bolničkim krevetima koji ne bi imali tako tešku sliku s wuhanskim virusom – napominje dr. Kolarić.

Jednaku situaciju koju gledamo u Hrvatskoj imamo gotovo u cijelom svijetu. I u susjednim zemljama, Sloveniji i Srbiji, kao i nešto udaljenijoj Belgiji i Nizozemskoj te prekooceanskoj Kanadi i SAD-u:

„Više na odjelima intenzivne njege ne viđamo bake i djedove, sad su u bolnicama mame i tate, ljudi u četrdesetima, pedesetima, šezdesetima i mladi ljudi" - izjavio je Nicolas Ottermans, s odjela intenzivne njege bruxelleske bolnice za AFP.

Danas je Matjaž Jereb, šef odjela intenzivne terapije na ljubljanskoj infekcijskoj klinici također potvrdio da je za razliku od prva dva vala epidemije, sada sve više mlađih dobnih kategorija.

 „Riječ je o populaciji u srednjim godinama života, koja nema kroničnih bolesti, ne boji se COVID i podcjenjuje opasnost, a to svakako nije dobro, upozorio Jereb.

Srbija je, u namjeri da ubrza imunizaciju omogućila cijepljenje i bez prethodne prijave kroz državni e-sustav, a u beogradskom KBC-u najkritičniji pacijent, sa obostranom upalom pluća, ima samo 15 godina.Iz te bolnice navode da djeca i adolescenti imaju teže kliničke slike nego prošle godine te da se primjećuje kako je faktor rizika kod najmlađih bolesnika prekomjerna težina.

S obzirom na to da su trenutno mlađe dobne skupine najizloženije zarazi, u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama postavljaju pitanje trebaju li sad njima dati prioritet za cijepljenje?

Zdravstvena analitičarka dr. Leana Wen za CNN je objasnila kako je u početku itekako imalo smisla dati prioritet onima koji su stariji i imaju kronične bolesti što im je spasilo život, no budući se u SAD-u cijepljenje brzo odvija očekuje se da će predsjednik Joe Biden objaviti da bi države od 19. travnja trebale početi cijepiti sve starije od 16 godina kvalificirane za primanje cjepiva.

„Dakle, za samo nekoliko tjedana svi će se, koji to žele moći prijaviti za primanje cjepiva. Apsolutno se slažem s povećavanjem pristupa posebno prema onima koji bi  najvjerojatnije dobili koronavirus i širili ga dalje”, rekla je zdravstvena analitičarka.

Velika razlika u odnosu na zimu i drugi pandemijski val jest i u tome što trenutačno imamo znatno više mlađih ljudi sa težim simptomima koronavirusa. U nedjelju je u Zagrebu preminuo  dvadesettrogodišnji mladić koji se liječio u KB Dubravi, a u petak je na konfereniciji Nacionalnog stožera objavljeno kako je od COVID-a umrla ženska osoba koja je također imala 23 godine. 

Preminuli mladić nije imao ni jednu drugu prateću bolest osim COVID--a. Odjeli u Dubravi su puni četrdesetogodišnjaka i pedesetogodišnjaka koji zahtijevaju terapiju visokim dozama kisika.

''U ovom valu u bolnici su nam hospitalizirani puno mlađi ljudi. Prije smo uglavnom imali pacijente od 70 i 80 godina, a sad imamo i tridesetogodišnjake. Također u odnosu na prije, puno je kraće vrijeme od prvih simptoma COVID-a do prijema u bolnicu'', potvrdio je i anesteziolog dr. Nikola Bradić iz KB-a Dubrava. 

Epidemiolog prof. dr. Branko Kolarić, član Znanstvenog savjeta za borbu protiv pandemije koronavirusa Vlade RH kaže nam kako je nesrazmjeran porast slučajeva među mlađima posljedica kombinacije nekoliko stvari.

Prvo, činjenica je da su stariji od 80 godina koji su izloženi najvećem riziku od hospitalizacija i smrti od COVID-a u domovima, procijepljeni, te da se stariji općenito više cijepe i stoga su dobro zaštićeni od korone.

Prosječna dob preminulih osoba u Hrvatskoj od posljedica koronavirusa bila je iznad 76 godina, a sad je u toj dobnoj skupini visoka procijepljenost. Isto tako, oni stariji, koji nisu još cijepljeni puno su oprezniji i striktnije se drže propisanih epidemioloških mjera nego mlađi koji misle da im se ne može ništa dogoditi jer su mladi i zdravi. Zabave su željni i virus im nije prvi prioritet.

Pokretniji su i aktivniji, što je također razlog zašto je povećani udio i broj slučajeva u ovim skupinama.  

Sva istraživanja pokazala su naime, da se britanski soj virusa koji je zadominirao i Hrvatskom i ostatkom svijeta, lakše prenosi – što znači da je sada veći rizik od zaraze koronavirusom zbog aktivnosti za koje se prije smatralo da su prilično sigurne.

„Osim što je zarazniji pa se brže širi, soj B.1.1.7 je i virulentniji, što znači da uzrokuje ozbiljniju bolest, pa mnogi završavaju u bolničkim krevetima koji ne bi imali tako tešku sliku s wuhanskim virusom – napominje dr. Kolarić.

Jednaku situaciju koju gledamo u Hrvatskoj imamo gotovo u cijelom svijetu. I u susjednim zemljama, Sloveniji i Srbiji, kao i nešto udaljenijoj Belgiji i Nizozemskoj te prekooceanskoj Kanadi i SAD-u:

„Više na odjelima intenzivne njege ne viđamo bake i djedove, sad su u bolnicama mame i tate, ljudi u četrdesetima, pedesetima, šezdesetima i mladi ljudi" - izjavio je Nicolas Ottermans, s odjela intenzivne njege bruxelleske bolnice za AFP.

Danas je Matjaž Jereb, šef odjela intenzivne terapije na ljubljanskoj infekcijskoj klinici također potvrdio da je za razliku od prva dva vala epidemije, sada sve više mlađih dobnih kategorija.

 „Riječ je o populaciji u srednjim godinama života, koja nema kroničnih bolesti, ne boji se COVID i podcjenjuje opasnost, a to svakako nije dobro, upozorio Jereb.

Srbija je, u namjeri da ubrza imunizaciju omogućila cijepljenje i bez prethodne prijave kroz državni e-sustav, a u beogradskom KBC-u najkritičniji pacijent, sa obostranom upalom pluća, ima samo 15 godina.Iz te bolnice navode da djeca i adolescenti imaju teže kliničke slike nego prošle godine te da se primjećuje kako je faktor rizika kod najmlađih bolesnika prekomjerna težina.

S obzirom na to da su trenutno mlađe dobne skupine najizloženije zarazi, u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama postavljaju pitanje trebaju li sad njima dati prioritet za cijepljenje?

Zdravstvena analitičarka dr. Leana Wen za CNN je objasnila kako je u početku itekako imalo smisla dati prioritet onima koji su stariji i imaju kronične bolesti što im je spasilo život, no budući se u SAD-u cijepljenje brzo odvija očekuje se da će predsjednik Joe Biden objaviti da bi države od 19. travnja trebale početi cijepiti sve starije od 16 godina kvalificirane za primanje cjepiva.

„Dakle, za samo nekoliko tjedana svi će se, koji to žele moći prijaviti za primanje cjepiva. Apsolutno se slažem s povećavanjem pristupa posebno prema onima koji bi  najvjerojatnije dobili koronavirus i širili ga dalje”, rekla je zdravstvena analitičarka.
