Djelatnici novogradiške Vodoprivrede u mjestu Medari uz državnu cestu su u četvrtak pronašli za pet sanduka za streljivo, nekoliko dijelova protutenkovskih mina, dio raketnog bacača te nekoliko praznih sanduka za protuoklopno naoružanje.

Cesta između Nove Gradiške i Okučana zbog toga je bila povremeno zatvarana za promet, a cijelo područje je osiguravala policija.

Iskapajući zemlju oko jednog od hidranata na vodovodnoj mreži ispred obnovljenih obiteljskih kuća, u kojima nitko ne živi, rovokopač je s dubine manje od metar iskopao vojni sanduk.

Nakon njega uočeni su i ostali dijelovi naoružanja, te manja količina puščanog streljiva. Radnici Vodoprivrede odmah su izvijestili policiju koja je osim tog mjesta obišla i deponiju u Dragaliću na koju je odvožena zemlja. Pregledom iskopane zemlje u Dragaliću, također je pronađeno streljivo.

Na oba mjesta pronalaska vojnog streljiva pozvani su pirotehničari koji su uz pomoć dresiranog policijskog psa nadgledali daljnje iskapanje.

Nitko sa sigurnošću ne može potvrditi odakle tu streljivo, ali prema pričanju malobrojnih mještana koji žive u Medarima, najvjerojatnije se radi o streljivu srpskih paravojnih snaga s obzirom da je ovo mjesto od 1991. do „Bljeska“ (1995.) bilo pod njihovom okupacijom.

Djelatnici novogradiške Vodoprivrede u mjestu Medari uz državnu cestu su u četvrtak pronašli za pet sanduka za streljivo, nekoliko dijelova protutenkovskih mina, dio raketnog bacača te nekoliko praznih sanduka za protuoklopno naoružanje.

Cesta između Nove Gradiške i Okučana zbog toga je bila povremeno zatvarana za promet, a cijelo područje je osiguravala policija.

Iskapajući zemlju oko jednog od hidranata na vodovodnoj mreži ispred obnovljenih obiteljskih kuća, u kojima nitko ne živi, rovokopač je s dubine manje od metar iskopao vojni sanduk.

Nakon njega uočeni su i ostali dijelovi naoružanja, te manja količina puščanog streljiva. Radnici Vodoprivrede odmah su izvijestili policiju koja je osim tog mjesta obišla i deponiju u Dragaliću na koju je odvožena zemlja. Pregledom iskopane zemlje u Dragaliću, također je pronađeno streljivo.

Na oba mjesta pronalaska vojnog streljiva pozvani su pirotehničari koji su uz pomoć dresiranog policijskog psa nadgledali daljnje iskapanje.

Nitko sa sigurnošću ne može potvrditi odakle tu streljivo, ali prema pričanju malobrojnih mještana koji žive u Medarima, najvjerojatnije se radi o streljivu srpskih paravojnih snaga s obzirom da je ovo mjesto od 1991. do „Bljeska“ (1995.) bilo pod njihovom okupacijom.
