Douglas, najveći europski lanac premium kozmetičkih trgovina, koji u Hrvatskoj ima 28 fizičkih dućana, plus jedan online, objavio je da će u idućih godinu i pol zatvoriti 500 fizičkih trgovina u Njemačkoj i južnoj Europi. Njemački trgovački div u 2020. zabilježio je najveći rast internetske prodaje u branši. Online je prodao kozmetičkih, higijenskih i inih proizvoda za više od milijardu eura ili 7,5 milijardi kuna. S druge strane, zbog lockdowna trpjela mu je prodaja kroz fizičke trgovine. Slično se nastavlja i u ovoj godini, piše Novac.hr.

Hoće li zatvaranjem biti obuhvaćene i fizičke trgovine u Hrvatskoj, zasad nije poznato. Financijsko izvješće hrvatske operacije za 2020. nije još dostupno na FINA-i. No, izvješća za 2018. i 2019. ukazuju da Douglas na hrvatskom tržištu vrlo stabilno raste. Brend koji je prije desetak godina u Hrvatsku ušao preuzimanjem nekadašnjih parfumerija Iris, a kojima je danas u stopostotnom vlasništvu, navodi da je 2018. zabilježio rast prihoda od 6 posto, na 130 milijuna kuna, uz rast neto dobiti za 10 posto, od 5,6 milijuna kuna. Godinu kasnije, 2019., rast prihoda bio je veći od 10 posto, na 142,9 milijuna kuna, uz neto dobit od 4 milijuna kuna. Douglas je već tada najavio da će u narednoj godini, dakle prije nego što se na proljeće pojavila pandemija, krenuti snažnije s razvojem internetske trgovine.

"Glavni fokus za naredno razdoblje je online prodaja, koja svake godine bilježi značajan rast te predstavlja značajan segment poslovanja. U cilju optimiziranja procesa online prodaje, planira se i preseljenje online segmenta na novu, značajno veću lokaciju, kao i otvaranje prve pick-up lokacije", navodi se u izvješću Douglasa u Hrvatskoj za 2019.

Šesti najveći trgovac

Dodaje se i da je plan bio otvoriti i Douglas akademiju, koja bi značajno pridonijela kvaliteti ulaganja u prodajno osoblje, njihovom usavršavanju, edukaciji i širenju znanja. To sve ukazuje da Douglas na hrvatskom tržištu vidi budućnost i za prodaju preko fizičkih trgovina.

Jutarnji list ekskluzivno je dobio i prve brojke o tržišnim pozicijama najvećih farmacija i kozmetičkih trgovina u Hrvatskoj. Prema podacima Euromonitor Internationala, na hrvatskom tržištu, u segmentu koji nazivaju specijalističke trgovine za zdravlje i ljepotu, Douglas je šesti najveći trgovac. Prvi je dm-drogerie markt, a slijede ga Müller, Bipa, koja ima istog vlasnika kao i Billa, grupu Rewe, zatim na četvrtom mjestu Farmacia u sastavu Atlantic grupe, dok je peta Gradska ljekarna Zagreb.

Euromonitor navodi i da Douglas u Hrvatskoj bilježi sve brži rast internetske trgovine. U 2018. Douglas je u Hrvatskoj, navodi analitička kuća, imao prodaju od 11,8 milijuna kuna. Godinu kasnije 12,9 milijuna kuna, a lani, u godini koju je obilježila pandemija i lockdown, prodaja preko interneta premium je trgovcu narasla na 26,4 milijuna kuna.

Nitko nije toliko rastao Njemački Douglas, na globalnoj razini, navodi da je u financijskoj godini 2019./20., koja se računa do kraja rujna, zabilježio prihod od 3,2 milijarde eura. Matica je otkrila i da joj je broj online kupaca lani skočio više od 40 posto, broj posjeta internetskoj trgovini preko 50 posto, kao i činjenicu da su ponudu proširili na više od 100.000 proizvoda.

Tina Müller, izvršna direktorica grupe Douglas, kaže da će od spomenutih 500 fizičkih trgovina, njih 60 biti zatvoreno u Njemačkoj.

"Niti jedan europski prodavač ljepote ove godine nije toliko porastao na internetu - i to s opet višim maržama u dvoznamenkastom postotnom rasponu", zaključuje Müller.

Četvrtina prihoda stiže od onlinea

Douglas je svoju trgovinu u Njemačkoj, Austriji i Francuskoj pretvorio u marketplace. U četvrtom tromjesečju zabilježio je preko interneta rast prodaje od 44,5 posto, i taj je rezultat uključen u milijardu eura prihoda od online prodaje u 2020. No, u Douglasu navode da je taj rast u zadnjem tromjesečju daleko iznad prosječnog rasta na razini prošle godine. Centrala Douglasa ističe kako su tržišta u jugozapadnoj i istočnoj Europi, među kojima i hrvatsko, u zadnjem kvartalu prošle godine zabilježila posebno snažan rast internetske prodaje. U nekim slučajevima i iznad 80 posto. Kompanija se pohvalila da sada četvrtinu prihoda ostvaruje preko interneta.

Douglas, najveći europski lanac premium kozmetičkih trgovina, koji u Hrvatskoj ima 28 fizičkih dućana, plus jedan online, objavio je da će u idućih godinu i pol zatvoriti 500 fizičkih trgovina u Njemačkoj i južnoj Europi. Njemački trgovački div u 2020. zabilježio je najveći rast internetske prodaje u branši. Online je prodao kozmetičkih, higijenskih i inih proizvoda za više od milijardu eura ili 7,5 milijardi kuna. S druge strane, zbog lockdowna trpjela mu je prodaja kroz fizičke trgovine. Slično se nastavlja i u ovoj godini, piše Novac.hr.

Hoće li zatvaranjem biti obuhvaćene i fizičke trgovine u Hrvatskoj, zasad nije poznato. Financijsko izvješće hrvatske operacije za 2020. nije još dostupno na FINA-i. No, izvješća za 2018. i 2019. ukazuju da Douglas na hrvatskom tržištu vrlo stabilno raste. Brend koji je prije desetak godina u Hrvatsku ušao preuzimanjem nekadašnjih parfumerija Iris, a kojima je danas u stopostotnom vlasništvu, navodi da je 2018. zabilježio rast prihoda od 6 posto, na 130 milijuna kuna, uz rast neto dobiti za 10 posto, od 5,6 milijuna kuna. Godinu kasnije, 2019., rast prihoda bio je veći od 10 posto, na 142,9 milijuna kuna, uz neto dobit od 4 milijuna kuna. Douglas je već tada najavio da će u narednoj godini, dakle prije nego što se na proljeće pojavila pandemija, krenuti snažnije s razvojem internetske trgovine.

"Glavni fokus za naredno razdoblje je online prodaja, koja svake godine bilježi značajan rast te predstavlja značajan segment poslovanja. U cilju optimiziranja procesa online prodaje, planira se i preseljenje online segmenta na novu, značajno veću lokaciju, kao i otvaranje prve pick-up lokacije", navodi se u izvješću Douglasa u Hrvatskoj za 2019.

Šesti najveći trgovac

Dodaje se i da je plan bio otvoriti i Douglas akademiju, koja bi značajno pridonijela kvaliteti ulaganja u prodajno osoblje, njihovom usavršavanju, edukaciji i širenju znanja. To sve ukazuje da Douglas na hrvatskom tržištu vidi budućnost i za prodaju preko fizičkih trgovina.

Jutarnji list ekskluzivno je dobio i prve brojke o tržišnim pozicijama najvećih farmacija i kozmetičkih trgovina u Hrvatskoj. Prema podacima Euromonitor Internationala, na hrvatskom tržištu, u segmentu koji nazivaju specijalističke trgovine za zdravlje i ljepotu, Douglas je šesti najveći trgovac. Prvi je dm-drogerie markt, a slijede ga Müller, Bipa, koja ima istog vlasnika kao i Billa, grupu Rewe, zatim na četvrtom mjestu Farmacia u sastavu Atlantic grupe, dok je peta Gradska ljekarna Zagreb.

Euromonitor navodi i da Douglas u Hrvatskoj bilježi sve brži rast internetske trgovine. U 2018. Douglas je u Hrvatskoj, navodi analitička kuća, imao prodaju od 11,8 milijuna kuna. Godinu kasnije 12,9 milijuna kuna, a lani, u godini koju je obilježila pandemija i lockdown, prodaja preko interneta premium je trgovcu narasla na 26,4 milijuna kuna.

Nitko nije toliko rastao Njemački Douglas, na globalnoj razini, navodi da je u financijskoj godini 2019./20., koja se računa do kraja rujna, zabilježio prihod od 3,2 milijarde eura. Matica je otkrila i da joj je broj online kupaca lani skočio više od 40 posto, broj posjeta internetskoj trgovini preko 50 posto, kao i činjenicu da su ponudu proširili na više od 100.000 proizvoda.

Tina Müller, izvršna direktorica grupe Douglas, kaže da će od spomenutih 500 fizičkih trgovina, njih 60 biti zatvoreno u Njemačkoj.

"Niti jedan europski prodavač ljepote ove godine nije toliko porastao na internetu - i to s opet višim maržama u dvoznamenkastom postotnom rasponu", zaključuje Müller.

Četvrtina prihoda stiže od onlinea

Douglas je svoju trgovinu u Njemačkoj, Austriji i Francuskoj pretvorio u marketplace. U četvrtom tromjesečju zabilježio je preko interneta rast prodaje od 44,5 posto, i taj je rezultat uključen u milijardu eura prihoda od online prodaje u 2020. No, u Douglasu navode da je taj rast u zadnjem tromjesečju daleko iznad prosječnog rasta na razini prošle godine. Centrala Douglasa ističe kako su tržišta u jugozapadnoj i istočnoj Europi, među kojima i hrvatsko, u zadnjem kvartalu prošle godine zabilježila posebno snažan rast internetske prodaje. U nekim slučajevima i iznad 80 posto. Kompanija se pohvalila da sada četvrtinu prihoda ostvaruje preko interneta.
