Američki avioprijevoznik United Airlines objavio je da je od Boeinga i Airbusa naručio 270 novih zrakoplova kako bi iskoristio snažni oporavak potražnje za putovanjima u postpandemijskom razdoblju.
Kompanija je u utorak objavila da je od Boeinga naručila 200 zrakoplova tipa 737 MAX i 70 zrakoplova tipa A321neo od Airbusa ukupne vrijednosti prema kataloškim cijenama 30 milijardi dolara.
Narudžba uključuje i 25 Boeingovih MAX-ova 737 s bijelim repom. Ostali su klijenti otkazali narudžbe tih zrakoplova tijekom njihova 22-mjesečnog prizemljenja nakon dvije teške nesreće u kojima je stradalo 346 ljudi.
Regulatori u SAD-u i Europi odobrili su u međuvremenu njihov povratak u promet nakon izmjena kojima su otklonjeni sigurnosni problemi.
United Airlines planira ovog ljeta u raspored letenja uključiti prvi Boeingov MAX 8 s novim interijerom, a početkom 2023. uvest će i MAX 10 i Airbusov A321 neo.
Veće zrakoplove planiraju koristiti u domaćem prometu, povećavajući kapacitete za gotovo 30 posto kako bi bolje konkurirali u segmentima skupljih ali i cjenovno povoljnijih putovanja.
Naše će poslovanje zahvaljujući novim zrakoplovima ubrzati kako bismo mogli podmiriti obnovu potražnje za putovanjima, istaknuo je izvršni direktor United Airlinesa Scott Kirby.
Kada se pribroje postojeće narudžbe, United Airlines će nabaviti 500 novih uskotrupnih zrakoplova, uključujući 40 u 2022. i 138 u 2023. godini. Ističu da mogu biti donekle fleksibilni u pitanju isporuka od 2024. do 2026. i da imaju mogućnost prilagodbe MAX-ova drugim modelima.
Nova narudžba pomoći će proizvođačima zrakoplova da se oporave od posljedica naglog pada putovanja u pandemiji koronavirusa i signalizira da United Airlines igra ponajprije na kartu oporavka poslovnih putovanja, primjećuje Reuters.
United Airlines treći je prijevoznik u SAD-u po prihodima i u pandemiji je od vlade u Washingtonu dobio 10,5 milijardi dolara pomoći, U jučerašnjem priopćenju najavio je da će zahvaljujući novim narudžbama otvoriti 25 tisuća sindikalno zaštićenih radnih mjesta.
Naveli su i da očekuju da će u srpnju poslovati s dobiti prije poreza, prvi puta od siječnja 2020. godine.
Početkom srpnja kompanija će uvesti direktne letove na relaciji New York-Dubrovnik.

Američki avioprijevoznik United Airlines objavio je da je od Boeinga i Airbusa naručio 270 novih zrakoplova kako bi iskoristio snažni oporavak potražnje za putovanjima u postpandemijskom razdoblju.
Kompanija je u utorak objavila da je od Boeinga naručila 200 zrakoplova tipa 737 MAX i 70 zrakoplova tipa A321neo od Airbusa ukupne vrijednosti prema kataloškim cijenama 30 milijardi dolara.
Narudžba uključuje i 25 Boeingovih MAX-ova 737 s bijelim repom. Ostali su klijenti otkazali narudžbe tih zrakoplova tijekom njihova 22-mjesečnog prizemljenja nakon dvije teške nesreće u kojima je stradalo 346 ljudi.
Regulatori u SAD-u i Europi odobrili su u međuvremenu njihov povratak u promet nakon izmjena kojima su otklonjeni sigurnosni problemi.
United Airlines planira ovog ljeta u raspored letenja uključiti prvi Boeingov MAX 8 s novim interijerom, a početkom 2023. uvest će i MAX 10 i Airbusov A321 neo.
Veće zrakoplove planiraju koristiti u domaćem prometu, povećavajući kapacitete za gotovo 30 posto kako bi bolje konkurirali u segmentima skupljih ali i cjenovno povoljnijih putovanja.
Naše će poslovanje zahvaljujući novim zrakoplovima ubrzati kako bismo mogli podmiriti obnovu potražnje za putovanjima, istaknuo je izvršni direktor United Airlinesa Scott Kirby.
Kada se pribroje postojeće narudžbe, United Airlines će nabaviti 500 novih uskotrupnih zrakoplova, uključujući 40 u 2022. i 138 u 2023. godini. Ističu da mogu biti donekle fleksibilni u pitanju isporuka od 2024. do 2026. i da imaju mogućnost prilagodbe MAX-ova drugim modelima.
Nova narudžba pomoći će proizvođačima zrakoplova da se oporave od posljedica naglog pada putovanja u pandemiji koronavirusa i signalizira da United Airlines igra ponajprije na kartu oporavka poslovnih putovanja, primjećuje Reuters.
United Airlines treći je prijevoznik u SAD-u po prihodima i u pandemiji je od vlade u Washingtonu dobio 10,5 milijardi dolara pomoći, U jučerašnjem priopćenju najavio je da će zahvaljujući novim narudžbama otvoriti 25 tisuća sindikalno zaštićenih radnih mjesta.
Naveli su i da očekuju da će u srpnju poslovati s dobiti prije poreza, prvi puta od siječnja 2020. godine.
