Bjeloruska tenisačica Victoria Azarenka, finalistica US Opena, natjerala je u nedjelju suca na teniskom grand slam turniru Roland Garros da prekine njen meč prvog kola protiv Crnogorke Danke Kovinić zbog hladnoće. 

"Ovo postaje smiješno", rekla je Azarenka sucu na terenu Suzanne-Lenglen, natjeravši ga da prekine meč nakon samo tri gema.

I dok su se drugi mečevi na drugim terenima održavali pod kišom i na temperaturi od 11°C uz jak vjetar, Azarenka, koja je meč počela odjevena u crne tajice i majicu dugih rukava, napustila je teren čak i prije nego je sudac donio odluku o prekidu.

"Ovo postaje smiješno. Ne vidite što će se dogoditi ? Prehladno je", kazala je Azarenka. "Ne možemo držati reket jer je prevlažno", dodala je.

"Ovo je šala, što radimo ovdje?", pitala je Bjeloruskinja. "Neću više čekati ovdje jer mi je prehladno."

Drugi mečevi koji su počeli u isto vrijeme nisu prekinuti. Centralni teren, na kojem su igrali Belgijanac David Goffin i Talijan Jannick Sinner te koji od ove godine ima pomični krov, u tom trenutku nije bio natkriven.

Roland Garros koji se inače igra krajem svibnja i početkom lipnja, ove je godine iznimno, zbog pandemije koronavirusa, prebačen na rujan. Prognoza za ostatak tjedna za Pariz također nije dobra.

Bjeloruska tenisačica Victoria Azarenka, finalistica US Opena, natjerala je u nedjelju suca na teniskom grand slam turniru Roland Garros da prekine njen meč prvog kola protiv Crnogorke Danke Kovinić zbog hladnoće. 

"Ovo postaje smiješno", rekla je Azarenka sucu na terenu Suzanne-Lenglen, natjeravši ga da prekine meč nakon samo tri gema.

I dok su se drugi mečevi na drugim terenima održavali pod kišom i na temperaturi od 11°C uz jak vjetar, Azarenka, koja je meč počela odjevena u crne tajice i majicu dugih rukava, napustila je teren čak i prije nego je sudac donio odluku o prekidu.

"Ovo postaje smiješno. Ne vidite što će se dogoditi ? Prehladno je", kazala je Azarenka. "Ne možemo držati reket jer je prevlažno", dodala je.

"Ovo je šala, što radimo ovdje?", pitala je Bjeloruskinja. "Neću više čekati ovdje jer mi je prehladno."

Drugi mečevi koji su počeli u isto vrijeme nisu prekinuti. Centralni teren, na kojem su igrali Belgijanac David Goffin i Talijan Jannick Sinner te koji od ove godine ima pomični krov, u tom trenutku nije bio natkriven.

Roland Garros koji se inače igra krajem svibnja i početkom lipnja, ove je godine iznimno, zbog pandemije koronavirusa, prebačen na rujan. Prognoza za ostatak tjedna za Pariz također nije dobra.

Victoria Azarenka natjerala suca na Roland Garrosu da prekine meč zbog hladnoće: Neću više čekati ovdje jer mi je prehladno

Bjeloruska tenisačica Victoria Azarenka, finalistica US Opena, natjerala je u nedjelju suca na teniskom grand slam turniru Roland Garros da prekine njen meč prvog kola protiv Crnogorke Danke Kovinić zbog hladnoće. 

"Ovo postaje smiješno", rekla je Azarenka sucu na terenu Suzanne-Lenglen, natjeravši ga da prekine meč nakon samo tri gema.

I dok su se drugi mečevi na drugim terenima održavali pod kišom i na temperaturi od 11°C uz jak vjetar, Azarenka, koja je meč počela odjevena u crne tajice i majicu dugih rukava, napustila je teren čak i prije nego je sudac donio odluku o prekidu.

"Ovo postaje smiješno. Ne vidite što će se dogoditi ? Prehladno je", kazala je Azarenka. "Ne možemo držati reket jer je prevlažno", dodala je.

"Ovo je šala, što radimo ovdje?", pitala je...
