Velimir Zovko novi je izbornik hrvatske Davis Cup reprezentacije, potvrdio je Upravni odbor Hrvatskog teniskog saveza. On će na toj poziciji zamijeniti Vedrana Martića, kojem je ovog mjeseca istekao izbornički mandat.

Zovku ovo neće biti prvi put da vodi neku od naših nacionalnih selekcija. Tako je 1999. bio glavni trener reprezentacije u Fed Cupu (danas Billie Jean King Cupu), tijekom dvije sljedeće sezone pomoćni trener u istom natjecanju, a 2000. je bio glavni trener naših olimpijskih reprezentacija.

Još veće trenersko iskustvo ima u vođenju nekih od naših najboljih tenisača i tenisačica. Posljednji među njima bio je Borna Gojo, ali je dugo surađivao i s Ivanom Ljubičićem, Ivanom Berošem, Mirjanom Lučić-Baroni, Jelenom Kostanić te Ivanom Abramović. Na međunarodnom planu bio je trener Australca Bernarda Tomica, Ruskinje Poline Lejkine, a u posljednje vrijeme Zadranke s američkom putovnicom Bernarde Pere.

Zovko će našu reprezentaciju voditi već početkom 2024., u susretu protiv Belgije u Varaždinu. Bit će to dvoboj u tzv. Qualifier fazi 3. i 4. veljače, a pobjednik će se plasirati u prvi krug završnice Davis Cupa koji je na rasporedu u rujnu. Sastavi za taj susret bit će prijavljeni 5. siječnja, a uskoro će biti objavljene cijene ulaznica i datum početka njihove prodaje.

Prvog dana, u subotu, na rasporedu su dva pojedinačna meča, a u nedjelju program počinje okršajem parova te se nastavlja dvama pojedinačnim mečevima.

Velimir Zovko novi je izbornik hrvatske Davis Cup reprezentacije, potvrdio je Upravni odbor Hrvatskog teniskog saveza. On će na toj poziciji zamijeniti Vedrana Martića, kojem je ovog mjeseca istekao izbornički mandat.

Zovku ovo neće biti prvi put da vodi neku od naših nacionalnih selekcija. Tako je 1999. bio glavni trener reprezentacije u Fed Cupu (danas Billie Jean King Cupu), tijekom dvije sljedeće sezone pomoćni trener u istom natjecanju, a 2000. je bio glavni trener naših olimpijskih reprezentacija.

Još veće trenersko iskustvo ima u vođenju nekih od naših najboljih tenisača i tenisačica. Posljednji među njima bio je Borna Gojo, ali je dugo surađivao i s Ivanom Ljubičićem, Ivanom Berošem, Mirjanom Lučić-Baroni, Jelenom Kostanić te Ivanom Abramović. Na međunarodnom planu bio je trener Australca Bernarda Tomica, Ruskinje Poline Lejkine, a u posljednje vrijeme Zadranke s američkom putovnicom Bernarde Pere.

Zovko će našu reprezentaciju voditi već početkom 2024., u susretu protiv Belgije u Varaždinu. Bit će to dvoboj u tzv. Qualifier fazi 3. i 4. veljače, a pobjednik će se plasirati u prvi krug završnice Davis Cupa koji je na rasporedu u rujnu. Sastavi za taj susret bit će prijavljeni 5. siječnja, a uskoro će biti objavljene cijene ulaznica i datum početka njihove prodaje.

Prvog dana, u subotu, na rasporedu su dva pojedinačna meča, a u nedjelju program počinje okršajem parova te se nastavlja dvama pojedinačnim mečevima.

Objavljeno ime novog hrvatskog izbornika, evo tko će ubuduće voditi naše tenisače

Velimir Zovko novi je izbornik hrvatske Davis Cup reprezentacije, potvrdio je Upravni odbor Hrvatskog teniskog saveza. On će na toj poziciji zamijeniti Vedrana Martića, kojem je ovog mjeseca istekao izbornički mandat.

Zovku ovo neće biti prvi put da vodi neku od naših nacionalnih selekcija. Tako je 1999. bio glavni trener reprezentacije u Fed Cupu (danas Billie Jean King Cupu), tijekom dvije sljedeće sezone pomoćni trener u istom natjecanju, a 2000. je bio glavni trener naših olimpijskih reprezentacija.

Još veće trenersko iskustvo ima u vođenju nekih od naših najboljih tenisača i tenisačica. Posljednji među njima bio je Borna Gojo, ali je dugo surađivao i s Ivanom Ljubičićem, Ivanom Berošem, Mirjanom Lučić-Baroni, Jelenom Kostanić te Ivanom Abramović. Na međunarodnom planu bio je trener Australca Bernarda Tomica, Ruskinje Poline Lejkine, a u posljednje vrijeme Zadranke s američkom putovnicom Bernarde Pere.

Zovko će našu reprezentaciju voditi već početkom 2024., u susretu protiv Belgije u Varaždinu. Bit će to dvoboj u tzv. Qualifier fazi 3. i 4. veljače, a pobjednik će se plasirati u prvi krug završnice Davis Cupa koji je na rasporedu u rujnu. Sastavi za taj susret bit će prijavljeni 5. siječnja, a uskoro će biti objavljene cijene ulaznica i datum početka njihove prodaje.

Prvog dana, u subotu, na rasporedu su dva pojedinačna meča, a u nedjelju program počinje okršajem parova te se nastavlja dvama pojedinačnim mečevima.
